These guys could be 5 stars I just haven't received any items shipped from this location yet. I got tapped to manage shipping of all sorts of things from my deceased mother-in-law. This place was pretty close by, in a decent area, had easy parking, and great air conditioning which was nice after being in a place with none packing and moving boxes. My experience is a bit different as I had to have them pack almost all my items as I just did not have the time to do it myself so depending on how everything arrives, my review could go up by 1 star, or down by 3. The younger and woman on duty were easy to work with-especially when they saw I had a huge order. The place had a steady stream of customers and a couple of what looked like ebay/ Amazon related businesses. So that base made me feel like they were decent at shipping support. The guy looked pretty thorough about protecting items and the real value of this service is to be determined. If the keepsakes arrive undamaged, then it was pretty much worth it. I went to another place and called one too. Based on those interactions, this place felt like a good value in comparison to those experiences. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping store could handle all sorts of stuff from my in-laws. - Shipping Centers Near Me - New Hudson, Michigan

I went into the store around 630 on a Tuesday to ship a package. Two very disinterested employees were there. The package was going from new Hudson to Williamsburg Michigan. I needed the package to be delivered by Friday or Saturday. My options were next day air for over $200, 2 day air for $150 or 3 day ground for $92. The other options wouldn't arrive until next week. The package weighed 7 pounds and contained candy and toys that weren't worth $92. I left and went to the UPS store in South Lyon. The same package would arrive Thursday for$30. I believe that the New Hudson store was trying to gouge me knowing that I had a deadline or they really didn't want to ship the package because they were closing for the day. I am reporting this issue to the corporate office as well. I would avoid this store read more

Easy and quick service, they also have an Amazon kiosk Wch makes it faster to do the returns if there a more ppl in the store. They do have all types of services but for fee so ensure when you plan to return a package u have the exact return policy and method so it's goes hassle free read more

This place gets better & better. Now I can walk in with my code (Amazon's returns) scan myself and walk out. No waiting in lines! Perfect!

Pleasant and efficient. I stopped there on a weekend with a preprinted label to return some sunglasses. Like an idiot, I had printed a label for the U.S. post office instead of UPS. The employee graciously informed me that I could leave the package there to be mailed the next business day. I received a refund for the sunglasses shortly after that so I know she followed through. read more

I took a map in from work to get it made into a banner and the girl at the desk took it and asked me to put down my contact info because she didn't know how to do it or quote the price. Went back a week later and they told me they lost the map. A "store manager" Gurmeet Singh gave me his business card and told me to message him the info and he would follow up. I've reached out to him three times and he responded once a jumbled incomplete sentence and not again. read more

This place sucks. Every time i come here i wait forever! I'm literally standing here waiting and writing this review. There's usually only 1 person working and if there is 2 it seems like the service is worse! There was 2 people behind me that finally had enough of the waiting and left. There's 1 worker helping a man with a banner and the other worker is on the frigging phone. This place is so frustrating and it suuuuuucks because it's so centralized to everything. I would blame this on the owners of this UPS because they are ALWAYS short staffed! Do yourself a favor and just go to Brighton or Milford unless you have nothing but time to piss away! read more

I am in this store about once a week. I recently had a difficult and expensive shipping project and was nervous about getting it completed. When I arrived with my 2 partially packed 65 pound boxes to ship I was quickly put at ease by Singh and his staff. They found a way to reduce the size and cost of my shipments and even helped me finish the packing. I am a builder and I now find out that they do blueprints as well. This is something I need every week and I will be using this store now. I trust them and they are closer to home. read more

I ran in to return something quickly and they wouldn't send a package for me without my license and entering all my information in their system. Way too invasive and time consuming. UPS does that so they can continue to bother you with their advertising. It happened to me before. After I did business there last they kept sending me surveys. This time I had enough of their policies. I turned around and took my business right to the good old post office. A little longer wait, but worth it in time saved with junk emails and mail. read more

Charged me a dollar to tape the box. None of the other locations have ever done that. I will not be back to this location.

I came here to make copies that were copying fuzzy on my home printer/copier/scanner. The associate was so nice and helpful and even offered to do the copies for us. I couldn't of been more pleased with the politeness and personal service I was given. I will definitely be returning in the future for any shipping, copying or scanning needs I have. read more

This location nickels and dimes its customers. I had a 9x6x4 box and the girl wanted to charge me $1 to seal it with 9" of tape. Then claimed that it's the taping fee they charge because the cost comes out of their budget. Seriously?!? I went to another UPS store where they gladly taped it for FREE. read more

This location is wonderful! The staff is extremely friendly and nice, and the manager especially is always helpful. They all go beyond what's expected; I won't ship anywhere else! I've used them to print as well; great quality job, great graphic designer too. If you need the job done, this UPS store is the place to go! We use the store fairly often for drop off stuff but the last time was for home selling papers to be notarized. the guy that took care of us ( young southern gentleman) was terrific.
