This place was pretty close by, in a decent area, had easy parking, and great air conditioning which was nice after being in a place with none packing and moving boxes. My experience is a bit different as I had to have them pack almost all my items as I just did not have the time to do it myself so depending on how everything arrives, my review could go up by 1 star, or down by 3. The younger and woman on duty were easy to work with-especially when they saw I had a huge order. The place had a steady stream of customers and a couple of what looked like ebay/ Amazon related businesses. So that base made me feel like they were decent at shipping support. The guy looked pretty thorough about protecting items and the real value of this service is to be determined. If the keepsakes arrive undamaged, then it was pretty much worth it. I went to another place and called one too. Based on those interactions, this place felt like a good value in comparison to those experiences.

    I went into the store around 630 on a Tuesday to ship a package. Two very disinterested employees…read morewere there. The package was going from new Hudson to Williamsburg Michigan. I needed the package to be delivered by Friday or Saturday. My options were next day air for over $200, 2 day air for $150 or 3 day ground for $92. The other options wouldn't arrive until next week. The package weighed 7 pounds and contained candy and toys that weren't worth $92. I left and went to the UPS store in South Lyon. The same package would arrive Thursday for$30. I believe that the New Hudson store was trying to gouge me knowing that I had a deadline or they really didn't want to ship the package because they were closing for the day. I am reporting this issue to the corporate office as well. I would avoid this store

    I'm not sure if there are new employees since the negative reviews but I had such an awesome first…read moreexperience there. There were two women working who helped customers with a smile on their faces. The woman who was helping me had longer dark brown hair, and was so pleasant. The line wait time was short, and they were busy! Don't let the negative reviews sway you away, the employees are terrific.

How can that be when the box is INSIDE THE POST OFFICE?! I have to have them search while I wait in line, holding everyone else up and they eventually find whatever package it was and give it to me. This process generally takes 10-15 minutes. TODAY, I arrived to pick up a special order package that arrived at the post office at 9:53am and was signed for by Mitch at the dock. At 4:40, when I arrived to collect it, it was not in my box. as usual, I proceeded to the line where I spoke with one of the same people I always talk to who always knows nothing about any package anytime. She asked me for everything but my dogs name and proceeded to the back for the routine 15 minute "search". By now, it is after 5 and they are discussing with one another how they need to be out of there by 6. The young lady comes back to tell me that my package is in a pile that has not been sorted yet!!!! WHAT?!?!?!? She then matter of factly said, "you will have to come back tomorrow. It will be here then."....I was STUNNED! But this is how they always approach situations in this Post Office. I have made complaints before. But you people don't respond. So it is clear where the post office employees get it from. Clearly, the Postal service could not care less as long as it gets money. CLEARLY, customer service is NOT the objective of the USPS Customer Support! I can show you a screen shot of where I messaged you on FB Messenger and was told someone would be right with me. That was at 6:17pm yesterday and NO ONE has bothered even responding. BOTTOM LINE???? I WANT MY $83 DOLLARS BACK!!!!! If you cannot provide the service, you should not get the money! I also want to know where I can file a formal complaint against 48390 AND The USPS as a whole. I think it is sad (But OH SO American) to STILL be blaming COVID for inadequacies instead of hiring enough staff to cover efficiently and courteously serve your customers.

    On December 30th, I went to the Green Road post office to mail my passport (needs to be renewed)…read moreusing USPS Priority Mail with return service. I clearly told the clerk that the envelope contained my passport and that I needed it mailed securely.The clerk failed to issue a return tracking number. The passport was never delivered, and there is no return tracking record in the system. (As you know, Priority Mail is supposed to include tracking by default, especially for return mail.) When I returned to the post office to investigate, the manager was able to pull up my receipt using my credit card information, and the receipt shows only one tracking number, not a return tracking number. The manager acknowledged that this was likely a staff error, but then refused to take responsibility, insisting that I must produce the original paper receipt from December 30th, which is now over a month ago.I believe this is an unreasonable requirement, given that the USPS system already shows incomplete service with my credit card information provided. The clerk is also very unprofessional on that day. She was very dismissive, refused to explain the process, and altered the address I wrote by hand, making it difficult to read. When I asked if I could rewrite the address or pay again to ensure accuracy, I was told it was "fine" and denied that option. As a result of this error, my passport was lost, and I am now required to reapply for a replacement passport, which involves significant time, stress, and legal uncertainty.
