Their "shelf service" is amazing. You put in your reading preferences and they select a handful of books that fit. It's wild that this is something you can access for free. I have owned and managed my own business for 25 years, so I understand how important customer care and repeat customers are. I live in Ann Arbor during the fall and frequently ship items back and forth to California, so I regularly use shipping services. I needed to ship two footballs and was fully prepared to pay for the box, shipping, and insurance. However, when I asked to use a small piece of tape to seal the box, I was told I had to purchase an entire roll. The manager was rude and repeatedly stated that their policy is not to provide any supplies to customers. When I asked what it would cost for them to simply put the two footballs in a 14x14 box and tape it, I was quoted $18.99--before the cost of supplies and shipping. My issue was never with paying for legitimate services. It was the petty refusal to provide a small piece of tape, combined with excessive additional charges and a rude, dismissive attitude. This was not my first negative experience at this location--just my last. If this location is independently owned and operated, I hope the owner takes the time to review the pattern of one-star reviews and considers making changes. Consistent negative feedback about customer service should be taken seriously. I cannot recommend this location and will not be returning. There are too many other shipping options available to continue giving my business to a place where customers are treated this way.

I've been to Ann Arbor many times as I have family in the area, but hadn't really spent much time in the city exploring. Of course I had a large collection of places saved here on Yelp to check out! We ended up hitting up a lot of bars and spent a lot of time outside walking around. I like that there is a centrally located spot with many different places to see all at once. Walking around University of Michigan's campus was fun too. The majority of people we encountered were super friendly and very nice which made a great experience. I loved that the city is also very dog-friendly - I don't have a dog but it was so fun to dog watch the whole time. I'm really glad we got to spend some time exploring Ann Arbor and definitely didn't get to see everything on my list, so we'll have to visit again soon!

We advised him that collection was not until the following week and to a different collection address. The following week he then forgot to collect the container... After pissing around for weeks he finally managed to get the container to the wharf but didn't lodge the mandatory documents to the shipping line in time, which caused us to have to hold the container on power until the next Vessel. This costed us over $5000 in detention fees and a lot of embarrassment with our Suppliers. It is a serious question how this company is still in business.
