People are lovely & helpful. They went out if their way to help so I didn't have to vome back. Problem is no parking. A few in front & few behind. Behind are goant potholes I got stuck in once. However on one side of them is a popular restaurant and other side apartment building, across street more businesses. I went in on a Sunday right around when they opened at 10 a.m. There was already a line of about seven people ahead of me, but it moved quickly. What really stood out was the staff member helping customers--despite the long line, they were incredibly efficient while still being genuinely friendly and courteous. Every time I walk into the store, I'm greeted with her warm smile and friendly demeanor, which instantly makes my visit a pleasant one. I have had a mailbox at this store for 25 years and have always been treated with kindness and courtesy until today. There was no parking in front so I parked in the back. It was raining and I'm a 72 year old woman who cannot run around to the front to avoid getting wet. The employees were loading something into the back door so I went in that way. All three of them yelled at me that I can't come in that way. I told them I wasn't going to go around in the pouring rain when the back door was open. They insisted that it wasn't allowed. I explained that I had come in that way many times over the past 25 years and it was raining. They said that didn't matter and told me that I had to leave through the front door and watched as an old lady walked out into the pouring rain. I understand rules, but I also understand customer service. They were all standing in the back room so they could see that I did not touch anything back there. They could see that I'm an old lady and it was pouring rain. They did not care. I can tell you that the prior owner of this store would not have permitted this callous behavior by his employees. read more

I love this little spot! The folks who work here are hospitable overachievers, who go out of their way to make your experience convenient and easy. Dillon helped me get an engine out of my truck, wheeled it into the shop and even babysat it until my buyer paid for it. Then he boxed it up like precious cargo. He's very conscientious, and the lady who was working with him yesterday was also very nice, too. This place feels like an old-timey, neighborhood mail drop spot. I've been to Fedex and United States Postal Service (USPS) places before, but never a UPS store. The place was empty, and the guy seemed like did not want to be bothered when i came in to drop off my package. I explained to him that i wanted to see how much it would be before using the prepaid ticket, in which he didnt check on. Before i knew it, he grabbed my package (my box, you sicko) and gave me a receipt and walked away. This was my first ever UPS virgin moment and I left there very unsatisfied and empty afterwards. Now I know how my ex girlfriends feel. I kid. Anywho, I somewhat expect this from the unionized workers of the usps, but not UPS. What can Brown do for you? This location is close to home, so I shipped a package from here today. The woman on staff was very sweet. Not only was she waiting on me, but she was also helping someone fax a 20+ page document. In addition to us, the first 2 customers, a third person walked in as well. The employee was super calm and collected despite having to multitask. Store itself is dated compared to other UPS stores, but customer service was great. I always love their selection of Avanti brand cards. As the other review stated, there is a Starbucks across the street in case you have to wait on large print jobs, etc. read more

Don't waste your time going into this store, much less any UPS store. They do not have a clue what customer service is... I am not one to complain, and what happened is 100% honest and truthful... Today when I went to this store, it was crowded. During this time when businesses should care about their customers, when we're suppose to "social distancing...." It's not happening there! They could careless.. Then you wait in line for your turn as I did, waited 4 people. When my turn came up, all I wanted was a document notarized (UPS is big on advertising that!) Well, the man behind the counter pointed toward the front of the store and told me to wait til he was done with all the other customers behind me.. at least 5 at that moment. I asked why? I'm a customer? He said yes... and pointed again... I turned around and left the store. I promise!!!! I will NEVER go there again! Go to FEDEX... Less trouble, better service and no BS. read more

This UPS Store has all the services you would expect from a franchise of this international business, but when you go there you feel as if you are in a neighborhood or local business. That is because the staff there is just so genuinely friendly, as well as professional. Whether you're making a single photocopy or having them pack an odd-sized item for shipment they are always helpful, courteous, and pleasant. I appreciate that they display posters for local events and have local newsletters there, too. read more

I shipped a package containing clothes and large photo book to my home in NC when I was in Mt.Prospect. It arrived on time but in a DIFFERENT BOX. At first I thought it was a mistake, but I opened it since my name was on it. Inside I found a black plastic garbage bag--which I had not used in my original shipment. I untied the knot and inside were my clothes--SOAKING WET, and the book ruined with water damage. I had not packed the items inside a trash bag. I was contacted by the UPS store in Mt. Prospect who told me that UPS had denied my claim for damages, but that they would resubmit it. About two weeks later I received a check for damages and shipping costs from the UPS store. I've used the UPS store in Mt. Prospect a number of times and found them to be friendly and helpful. Nice of them to go to bat for me after somebody (not them) ruined the contents of my shipment and did not want to reimburse me for it. They are located across the street from the train station and coffee shop, with the library just down the street. Highly recommended! read more

Don't listen to the negative reviews on this UPS...Chris and his staff are terrific. Printing is fast and very high quality. When you email a job to them they acknowledge it right away and keep you updated on the progress. They do take credit cards and always promptly greet their customers with a smile. They take the time to quote the shipping cost before you make a decision on how to send a package. We have never had an issue with a box not being delivered on time. Needed about 5 feet of tape to seal a box that was prepaid UPS for a return. Was told that I was "taking advantage" and not offered any further help. That has never happened at any other shipping store. Go elsewhere! read more
