I went in to ship some antique items back to a relative in Arkansas, and an employee named Mike took care of everything for me. He chose a perfectly-sized box, lined the box with plastic bags to protect the contents, packed everything carefully, then sealed the box with another plastic bag on the outside to protect it from the winter weather. All the items arrived on time and in perfect condition. There was no damage from the rain and storms the package traveled through to get to Arkansas from California. These items were irreplaceable and my family members back in Arkansas called me crying with happiness when they received the box. I shipped two more boxes after that one and made sure that Mike did the packing. He did and amazing job each time and I was thrilled with the prices on each shipment. He's going to ship a freight shipment for me soon with some antique furniture and we're all excited about getting the furniture back there safely and for a reasonable cost. I've shipped a lot of things over the years and never had such good service as I got at the Merced UPS store. I highly recommend them to anyone wanting to ship things. read more

I had to clean out the home my father lived in after he passed away from cancer recently. He had acquired a lot of stuff and must have kept all kinds of paperwork for many years. I called the local UPS Store on G and Olive and talked to a wonderful young man named Mike who was very helpful. He told me he could pick up and ship many of the items I wanted to send to other family members living in various parts of California, Oregon and Washington. He ended up shipping a lot of small stuff and even came out and packed up some furniture to ship to my daughter. While he was there, he told me they had a shredding service that could take care of the many bags of paperwork I had sorted but didn't know how to handle. I was afraid to throw the paperwork in the trash because of identity thieves, so I took it into the store and it was all shredded in front of me for a very low cost. This alone saved me days of time. I even found a few greeting cards I needed while I was there. I highly recommend this business and Mike for being very helpful to an old lady in her time of need. read more

i had a horrible experience Angie and Steven the two employers in the front are plainly rude and are always on their phones. They have serious tension this is the Ups In merced on G street This is not the wrong address so do not try to correct me ms owner she ignores the fact that her two employees do whatever they want and how they please at that point she isn't even the boss same cycle from the past review i've written seriously updgrade your staff because there bringing your company down. read more

I recently opened a P.O. Box at this store and have been sending tons of forms to be printed. They always help me quickly and are always polite. Sometimes the forms get messed up in the process of going from me to them and the young man that helped me fixed the form no problem before printing it for me. 1.97 per page to send a fax??? What does it cost you with unlimited phone line. Greedy.... horrible service, and outrageous pricing. I needed to fax a 56 page document and it was Highway !! Found a better place called A1 Financial in town, only $15 total. read more
