Horrible customer service. The gentleman at the front desk was very aggressive and rude. I brought in a Amazon return in the box it arrived in, and another co-worker started taping up the box when this other gentleman came over and took it out of the box and proceeded to get a bag and place the return in the bag and told me to take my box. I said, ok, sorry about that, I don't know when you need the box or not. Then I said, well I actually don't need the box, can you please recycle and he aggressively pushed the box to me and said, "no, we don't recycle here". 1) that's bizarre you don't recycle and 2), so unprofessional to be aggressive with a customer, let alone a lady. I write this review as the owner of the store is not honoring prices quoted over the phone and looking out for his customers. This is a great neighborhood store with wonderful employees, but why would the owner choose to make a buck, literally, over keeping his word? I needed to make 14 copies as my printer broke. Called and was quoted .18/copy. Thirty minutes later, I entered the store and the owner asked if he could help. I said I needed to make copies. He took the stack and made them then rang them up for .25/copy. When challenged, he said the cheaper price was if I brought them in on a stick.(? Why does that matter?) and would not honor the price quoted over the phone. Out of principal, I went in today to talk to the manager and found out it was the owner. I may add the employees are great! UPS, Neither your customer service (international) nor tracking a package is good. one item shipped from other country to USA. From past 12 days, your customer service says samething "it's with customs. we have a speciality person who deals with customs , we will call him and let me know the status" . But call will never comes back. I had to call you again after a week. Customer service asks tracking number 4-5 times and then hung up. I got a doubt that did I called a UPS customer service or somewhere else? Looks like he didn't know , how to talk to customer? I never expected this type of experience with UPS. I just tried to drop off a bag of used Nespresso pods in a standard Nespresso bag for recycling. I have never had an issue with this in the past, but this UPS Store would not accept the bag without a shipping label. Every other time I have done this, I have not had a label (to include at this particular UPS Store) as it is not required per the partnership between Nespresso and the UPS Store. Both front desk attendants stated I needed a label. I believe this is in error. read more

I have had several bad experiences with this store & the owner, Jeff Helgeson, in particular. He refuses to accept return/refused packages and will go to any length to be as insulting and condescending as possible. He told me that he could actually "lose his license" if he accepted the package; which I know is not true. My UPS driver delivered the package earlier the same day & it was a cancelled order that was unopened. As has happened in the past, I had to drive it to another UPS store for return. The McKinney store on El Dorado as well as the Prosper store on 380 have absolutely no problem making these returns. In addition, they are professional and helpful! Mr. Helgeson, on the other hand, called me a liar & said I was "misinformed" by UPS Corporate when I questioned his business practices. Not the case! I would avoid this store at all costs & give it zero stars if possible! read more

This location is so SLOW. Even if I'm the only customer in the store, it takes them 10 minutes to print a couple sheets of paper. I live about a mile from this UPS and have never seen a single employee smile the handful of times I've been here. I started driving further to a different location because this one sucks! read more

Do not go to this UPS store. It was the first time I've ever had a package sent here and they charged me a $5 dollar fee for package pickup. I've done the UPS surpost several times before at different UPS locations and this was the first time I've ever been charged for pickup. the associate some tall bald guy explained that since they were a franchise location they can charge you fees for anything unless I rent a UPS mailbox. I asked him why I had never been charged before and he told me it was bc the UPS stores I had gone to were probably corporate stores. Lame. My wife's ebike was delivered today. The UPS driver rang our doorbell to let us know of the delivery and then watched as my wife answered the door. When I came out, he quickly asked me if I needed help moving the rather large and heavy shipping box, or if I wanted it moved into my garage. It was a very nice offer and I appreciated the gesture very much, but I told him I could manage it myself. With that, he quickly got back to his truck to continue his rounds. This fellow is an exemplar employee of UPS. My wife and I are in our 70s. He quickly judged our situation and made a deliberate decision to ask if we needed his further assistance after he made his delivery. Well done! This location is awful. Had a terrible experience today with Melissa. I went in to buy a box for to return Polaris pool cleaner. The lady told me it would $45. I told her that was crazy. She seemed annoyed that I wouldn't pay the money. I asked Melissa how much the box cost-$10. Tape-$3. Where is the other $32??? My packing cost. Package two: the cardboard wasn't "shipping rated". Never heard of it. Insisted that I buy another box. I was so frustrated that I left. Went to the UPS in Prosper. They packaged and shipped both packages for $10. And.... the were pleasant to deal with! read more

I would recommend not using this location unless you are doing an amazon return or something which is free to you. I was quoted over $15 for a box and packing materials (that didn't even include the actual shipping). I've had larger items packaged for a quarter of that price at other UPS locations. read more

This store is great! The customer service reps are always nice. It's a one stop shop. The location is perfect, I'm a freelance web developer and there is a Starbuck's right next door. I love that I am able to meet clients to discuss their business goals over coffee or lunch and go next door to UPS and get all the printing taken care of at the same time. It's saves us both time and money. Total perfection. I can send and receive mail, packages, get digital printing all in one spot. They have great rates with flexible payment options also. read more

If you need to print anything do not go to this store. It took me 7 minutes and 5 dollars to print 1 page. The computer they have is so old, I literally had to wait for 10 minutes before it even started working. I will not use this store in the future. read more

This review is reflective of only one certain employee and not my general experience with all other employees and shipping, etc at this location. In fact, the other employee I have seen there is probably one of the nicest and most pleasant people I have ever met. It astonishes me that these two polar opposites have to work together on a daily basis. There is one certain individual working there that I'm sure every person who has the pleasure of an encounter with feels the same. He is blatantly rude and literally takes advantage of his customers. Every time I go in he tries to nickle and dime me. Instance 1..I had to send back a vacuum. I had an appropriate box but left it open so that the person at UPS could check it and re-arrange it as necessary. $7 later for him to cut down the box I informed him that fed ex charges nothing to cut down the box (I had to do this with them the other week) and he informed me that I should go there. Since it was already a pre-paid label I had to pay the $7. Lesson learned there so I just brushed it off my shoulder. I even figured that he had a bad day and that I should let it be. Fast forward 1 week...another package to be shipped back. Box was taped up but I ran out of tape for the label. Just my luck, I get the same jerk-off to help me. He tries to charge me for tape. Again, taking advantage of me. I wasn't going to use a whole role just a simple piece to tape a small pre-paid label on. Note other employees at this location have been generous enough to tape packages for me and not charge a penny. Most recently, I went in for one simple item, smiled and said good morning to the same employe who did not even acknowledge my presence. HOW RUDE! THIS IS WHERE I REALLY GET PISSED. Its one thing to be a jerk when a customer is upset about a charge but honestly not even saying hi is just plain wrong and bad manners. Its not like there are thousands of people walking through the door. There is never more than a handful of customers there so he knew I said hi and just wanted to be a jerk. I seem to have found the only person in Texas who does not have manners or appreciation for human kind. You sir are certainly in the wrong business. It doesn't cost you anything to be kind and polite to people. You are not the only UPS store around here and honestly I would drive out of my way to avoid seeing your face, your arrogant attitude, and most importantly how you are trying to constantly take advantage of me. I have maintained a mailbox here for three years and have been very pleased with their service. The personnel are very friendly and greet me on arrival. Whenever I receive a very large package they are more than happy to help me load it into my vehicle. They are a valuable asset in helping me run my business. read more

I will not be going back. I called in advance to get pricing for an overnight letter. When I got to the store, that info was wrong. Twice more. The young woman who " helped" me, both on the phone and in person was indifferent and very defensive. I was just shipping an overnight letter! After it became clear that she was not going to be helpful, and I'd lost confidence in the pricing she was telling me, I left and went to another UPS store where I was helped professionally and sent off my letter at the correct price. read more

I recently moved to Texas after having two UPS Store accounts in California, one in Sherman Oaks, the other in Simi Valley. I always received excellent service so I opened a box at The UPS Store on Virginia Parkway, TX. The service I received was totally unacceptable! I was told if any mail, INCLUDING FIRST CLASS MAIL, came to box with my name and my business name - it would be SHREDDED! Then when I closed my account, I was told that I could receive any mail that came in after my box was closed, but it would be saved only if I continued to pay the monthly rental fee. And, if I came in to pick it up I would be charged $5.00 each time!! Why would I continue to pay the monthly fee after my box was closed? The owner told me this directly after I questioned his helper. I am now a happy customer of Postal Annex. read more

A package I shipped via The UPS Store was never delivered but rather returned to the store. When I started making inquiries as to why this occurred the customer service I received was beyond horrible. I went to the store in person, to check on the status of a claim that they said they would file. I was told they couldn't find the claim and that someone would call me the next day. I was also told they aren't UPS, they're a franchise. There was no call the next day so at 3pm I called them only to be told the person I was told to speak with had left at 2pm. After pressing the person on the phone for some answers I was told again they aren't UPS, they're a franchise. Enough of that! There was no claim filed and it wouldn't be filed, the owner's decision. I received no call to inform me of this decision. I got the distinct feeling they just wanted me to go away. Wish granted, I will never give UPS or The UPS Store my business again. read more

I'd give them a zero if I could. Had a mailbox at this location for a year. Several bad experiences. The store is staffed with unqualified people unable to answer the simplest of questions. Example, I terminated my mailbox account this Saturday. After completing the required paperwork I asked "is this all you need from me?" His response "I'm not sure I've never done one of these before and will need to check with my manager on Monday." He was also perfectly willing to let me walk out of the store without a receipt that I returned the keys until I insisted. Well trained I see considering you are in the business of renting mailboxes. It was much the same experience for the past year. I don't recommend them and will not use them again. read more

I have been to a lot of UPS stores in both Arizona and Texas and have never experienced more rude service. Both reps acted annoyed I showed up 10 mins before closing and I was unable to complete a label because they closed their registers early. I understand it's annoying to have last minute customers since I worked in retail but if you want to stop doing business earlier change your hours. read more

This is the best UPS Store I've been to how to my 4 years of experience with UPS I'm originally from Chicago but I just moved to McKinney two weeks ago and man I don't know where to start I was a mess I didn't have all of my documents I needed in order I just had a USB and there was a lovely staff member who was able to print off the documents I needed to be scanned and notarized and then faxed what truly mine blew me with the service is that it was within five minutes and the customers didn't seem nowhere near as friendly as the associate I give them five stars read more
