I never imagined that a routine upgrade would one day make the difference between life and death, for both myself and my daughter. Fast forward to 2025. While driving northbound on Highway 75, two vehicles were racing southbound. One lost control, crossed five lanes, and slammed into the center median. The impact shattered the concrete barrier, sending massive chunks of debris and twisted vehicle parts hurtling into oncoming traffic, directly at us. Our vehicle was struck multiple times. Concrete boulders and flying metal slammed into the windshield. But thanks to the clear tint Alta Mere installed years earlier, the glass held. It didn't shatter. Scheduling my appointment was smooth and I was pleasantly surprised when I was able to book an appointment the same week. The day of my appointment i was helped by Emma who had excellent customer service. Emma thoroughly explained the tint levels, results and pricing and lastly let me know of the lifetime warranty on the tint which i was pleased about. Unfortunately, I was unable to get all windows tinted because I was unaware one of my passenger windows no longer rolled down but Emma advised they would gladly tint it once I got it fixed and they did just that. So now all my windows are tinted and weeks later I noticed an area on my back window was peeling and bubbling; I allowed the recommend time to pass to see if it would fix itself but when it didn't i called back and set an appointment right away to have the spot looked over. During my time there Elmer asisted me and he also had excellent customer service, he came out and looked at my car and explained a plastic piece located on my back window cause the tint to push back but they would get me right and redo it. When my vehicle was done, Elmer explained they worked the plastic in a way to ensure it doesn't mess my back window tint up again. I admittedly was not thrilled about having to go back a third time but everyone i interacted with was kind, they were happy to assist me and I really appreciated how they made it so my tint would hold up on my back window. Most importantly, I'm very pleased with the work itself that was done. I noticed an immediate difference in the heat levels in my car and they look good also, no more unsightly bubbles! Ian was very responsive to my needs and he made sure that my car was completed when I needed it done. They fully wrapped my car with Clear Bra. They are meticulous about removing all the trim/emblems making sure that the wraps are done completely. The same goes for the SpectraPhoto Sync tint they used. While they are not the cheapest place to go to, you do get great value because they are using top quality materials and the care they take in doing a first quality job.

I found a shop that was near my work and was a 30 minute walk. I called the shop to setup an appointment and get a quote. They are doing a special of $300 dollars for everything but the front windshield and $500 dollars for tinted everything. They do other work as well like wrapping and more car protection. I went there the following day at around 12pm to drop off the car. The owner, Curly, is very friendly and nice. He went over the options with me and was very patient with all of my questions and went with his advice of going with the 2nd to highest tint as limo tint might be too dark as I told him I am worried I will not be able to see at night time. I went with the $500 dollars to do the car window tint. He said the job will take around 2 to 3 hours, but I told him to take his time and I will be back around 4:30pm. I ended up walking back and was there at around 4:15pm. They were still working on the car, but I did not mind however as I rather have them take their time to do it correctly than hurry on it. He said two of this other workers on it as well. I paid through credit card and he mentioned the other work he does and pointed out about the plastic film protection on my Crown which I did not noticed, but mentioned if I want to do a full wrap on it, he will do it if I am planning to keep the car forever. They do accept cash and card. I ended up paying card and he gave me a discount from the tax like $25 dollar one and he refused to be tipped on the screen so that was very kind of him and I would have not mind actually tipping him and paying the extra fees. It ended up being $540 dollars. His workers were also kind and friendly too. I would say if I had to explain the owner, very passionate about his job and you can tell he loves his job. If my wife wants to come in and get her windshield tinted, I would have not mind at all coming back and having Curly do the work.

I found Tony's after looking online for the best car tint shops in the area - especially those who…read morespecialize in working on Tesla vehicles, and they were easily the top result. Tony and his wife Lisa were who we spoke with and who worked on our Model 3 (2021). Tony himself was the actual installer and to say he went "above and beyond" is an understatement. First off, they were able to get us a great deal for the top-of-the-line XPEL XR Plus tint on all glass surfaces. This meant they did all the windows, the glass roof, even the windshield itself - apparently they are able to put an almost clear layer so it doesn't impact visibility that also still manages to block out a TON of heat. Second, when they first checked over the vehicle, they found a handful of flaws I had not seen (we had just gotten the vehicle only days before deciding we wanted to get tint installed before the summer really kicked off), and showed us before ever getting started to put us at ease with how they were going to handle the vehicle and let us know up front of any issues they found. Third, when Tony got to work, he actually noted that at some point some of the paneling had been hastily re-set into place, and was not correctly re-installed... so he took it upon himself to properly correct the issue, bending fasteners that were not correctly attached into their intended positions... meaning when they gave us the car back, not only was the tint installed perfectly, but the car was technically in even better shape than when we picked it up directly from Tesla's own shop in Dallas since now all the internal panels had been fastened as designed from the factory itself! They even registered the warranty for the XPEL tint so we didn't have to worry about any sort of future coverage should any issues occur with the film itself. In the past, I've gone with other tinters and I've had issues come up years later with peeling, cracking, and tearing, but I have a feeling that this is not going to be happening with Tony's work. I don't think we'll be going anywhere else but Tony's from now on. Now we just need to get a time where we can be without the vehicle for a few more days so we can get PPF + Ceramic coating installed on the body.
