I noticed they even began to offer 3D printing, and an employee engagingly offered an explanation about the 3D printing process. Have not tried it yet, but would like to someday. This place is a complete disaster!!!! There is a new management team that went in about 6 months ago and they are a hot mess. They lost 3 of my packages, they are rude, and when i tried to talk with the manager, her name is Robin, she told me to "take my business somewhere else". I've been here before with no issues. But the other day I had to drop off three large, heavy packages that were prepaid. First, they close at 2:30 on Saturdays, which is a weird time. Close at 2pm or 3pm, but whatever. So I get there at 2:26 (which is completely my fault for cutting it so close) and run up to the door with one of my twenty pound packages only to be greeted with a locked door. As I'm putting the package down another customer walks up to the door. So he knocks once and some lady comes out to reprimand us and say they close at 2:30. So I show her my phone and say it's 2:27. Look, I get it...it's Saturday and you want to leave. But all my packages were already paid for and I didn't need any other services other than just dropping the packages off there. If it was 2:30 when I got there I wouldn't have even bothered and would've waited until Monday but I was there before they closed (and with four whole minutes to spare!!). read more

I never write negative reviews, but the service at this UPS Store was so bad, and on two different occasions, that I am compelled to write about it. The horrible service was at UPS Store# 4236. It is located at 497 Hooksett Road in Manchester, NH. The first time I shopped there, moments after I walked into the lobby of the store, the Employee yelled from behind the desk that I needed to put on a mask. She was mistaken. I was wearing a mask, but she made a mistake. Still, she should not have yelled at me from behind the desk. She freely shared her unsolicited Political views with me. I kept quiet out of embarrassment. Ironically, and I'm not making the up, she solicited me to please post a positive YELP review of the store because, she said, they've been getting negative reviews from people saying they're mean because of their mask policy. Wow - talk about lack of self-awareness. She is mean! But I figured maybe I caught her on a bad day so I went back to give UPS more business on another day. This time, however, I was not wearing a mask because the CDC and President of the United States have both said I don't have to. Once again, as soon as I walked in I was yelled at from behind the desk from the same Employee. This time there were others in the store and I was embarrassed. I realize masks are a personal and controversial matter, but shaming and belittling customers shouldn't be the way to let people know you'd prefer they wear a mask. This time the Manager came over and handed me a paper mask (a nice gesture), but he also loudly berated me to wear it or get out. This is not the way I expect a professional company to treat people. Certainly they could have expressed their desire for me to mask-up without using shame and embarrassment as their tools. I will not be going there again. People should know how this store treats people so they can go somewhere else. read more

I always receive excellent customer service at this location. The employees are kind, friendly, polite and helpful. They are excellent at managing multiple tasks at once; they operate as a high-functioning team in order to see that all orders and requests are completed in a timely manner. I depend on UPS for a lot of shipping and have frequented other locations in the area and this is the only UPS Store I go to for my shipping needs, no exception. Worst UPS around. This company is not following the NH Mandates for wearing masks. I can not wear a mask due to a compromised lung capacity and I even brought the mandate showing the paragraph that I fall under. They kicked me out anyway saying they don't have to comply to the mandate - this is a clear violation of my rights, and a clear violation of the mandates. The Attorney General will be notified. They said I'd need a doctors note, which is a clear violation of the ADA Federal laws. I suggest that NH citizens think twice about going to this UPS Store when in need of shipping. There are others out there that will comply. I hope they go out of business. Here's a BIG FU to this company. read more

Have had a box here for years, the sole reason that I acquired the box was the service for them to notify me that we had mail. Today I asked why I didn't get message any longer. After close to ten years the didn't know that was an expectation. When I explained it had been that way since I worked with them it was more excuses. I used the services of this UPS store numerous times in the past. They advertise a notary service so I went to have a signature notorized about an hour before they closed. The associate I spoke to said the person who does the notorizing was on his way out and asked if I could come back on another day, preferably before 5 PM so I went today. I end up seeing the same person I saw a few days earlier (Derek Avila). As it turns out he's a notary, and he notorized my document. Basically, I made a 2nd trip there for no good reason. I was the only customer in the store when I originally went and he could have easily notorized my document then. Derek is simply dishonest, lazy, maybe both. I hope the franchise owner reads this as this would ge a good learning moment for his associates. I will not be utilizing this UPS store at any point in the future read more

Wanted to mail a UPS envelope. Went to pay with cash and was told they didn't accept cash as he can't get change from his bank. Told him I had exact change and have mailed several letter envelopes in the past few weeks and paid cash andwas told he would only take a credit card. Very Bad Experience With Michael. I Asked Him To UPS Ground Mail From My Box To A Next Day Point UPS Ground. The Next Day, Tuesday, The UPS Driver Came Through My Complex With Nothing. I Called The UPS Store And Asked About It And Michael Said It Did Go Out Monday, But I Wouldn't Get It Until Wednesday. This Didn't Make Sense So I Called Store Back To Ask For Tracking Number. Within 10 Minutes Michael Called Me Back And Changed His Story And Said The Envelope Didn't Go Out Monday. He Apologized And Said He Would Waive Fees To Send On Tues. Well It''s Late Wed. And Still No Envelope And Still Charged $18.62. Horrible Dishonest Service. I Worked With Daryl In The Past And He Was Excellent. read more

The employees at this UPS store were amazing! I shipped a few items from California to Manchester and they held them at the location. Lanning worked with me and made sure all my packages arrived safely. He even called me when my packages arrived so I could pick them up quickly. UPDATE! Since the new owner Michael replied to my comments, I added 2 stars. I value the fact that he cared enough to reach out. So, give it a try! This store ruined my elderly Aunt's glass/porcelein keepsakes!!!! They were shipped to me with barely any packing/bubble wrap/protection!!! I could already hear clinking of glass before I even opened the box! Half of the items arrived in pieces, much to my dismay. Instead of lots of bubble wrap/popcorn to immobilize the items, the items were allowed to move around the box freely! One of the items was a heavy glass/silver box that should have been put on the bottom. It was on top! It is unforgivable to think they were paid to pack up & ship these precious items to me and not to mention, the box was stamped "media mail'!! What? Media mail is for books that can be tossed around. At the very minimum, the box should have been stamped "FRAGILE"!!! Now these items are ruined. This UPS store should only maintain P.O. boxes, as they are utterly ignorant about how to properly pack items!!! UPDATE-So now this poor excuse for a UPS shipping store has LIED to UPS claiming that I refused inspection of my damaged items!!! I was NEVER even asked about an inspection! Furthermore, no one informed me that I would need to save the original shipping carton/box to submit a claim! I still have my damaged items, but, the box was disgarded. Being a do-it-yourselfer, it crushed me that I couldn't buy a box at Staples, Walmart, etc. to ship a large Lego kit myself. Since this store is close to where I work, I stopped in asking about boxes that fit the dimensions that I needed. Boom - they had a box that fit perfectly (ended up being a wreath box). The guys working there were quick to welcome me and were very helpful and professional. I was in and out in no time, which is key for those on their lunch breaks. Excellent customer service from a knowledgeable staff. Went there to get a PO Box and Dana explained all the options and services to help me determine the best option. I needed additional mail services and Lanning was quick, efficient and a math wiz! I saw several interactions with other customers including Daryl provide someone with a better option that was cheaper for the customer. Just got back from this store to get an updated passport photo. Who thought getting a passport photo taken could be so difficult? They took two and both came out blurry and with red eye. $20 down the drain since neither is acceptable for the government. They refused to make good and were perfectly content stealing my money. I went into this store on a Saturday afternoon and asked if I could ship something to Vermont overnight -- I needed it to get there Sunday. The woman behind the counter said she could do this but that I'd need to drive over to the main branch across town to drop off the package in order for it to be picked up that evening, which wouldn't have been a problem. She took down all my information, where it was being shipped to etc. She took a small padded envelope off the shelf, put my items in it, and sealed it. She then made a few more clicks on her computer and then had a brilliant thought... she decided she should call the main branch and double check that they did Sunday deliveries. It turns out, they don't... SO she told me "that will just be $0.99 for the envelope", which SHE sealed. As I took the dollar out of my wallet to pay, I quietly said, "It would have been great if you checked the Sunday delivery BEFORE sealing the envelope." To which she responded, "Hey, I made that call as a courtesy!" Ummm, actually knowing the delivery schedules and checking them for the customer is her JOB not really a courtesy. This was my first and most likely my last experience with UPS at this location. I realize this was only $1, which was why I paid it and got out of there as quick as I could - but the real complaint here is poor customer service and bad business practices. read more
