The greatest UPS store ever! Each customer is assisted by the awesome workers employed there! They've helped with finding affordable solutions for my mail and packages- both coming and going. Each and every time I feel the service is Respectful- Patient- Welcoming- Helpful- Fast- Fun! Plus love the convenient access and location. The employees are cheerful, friendly, competent, and seem to love their jobs. I have been to many other UPS locations and now make an effort to go to this Mukilteo one even though I live much closer (like super close) to another. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. I use UPS a lot so was happy to find one in the neighborhood. But alas, the service here is slow, angry and rude! After giving them several chances because they are most convenient to me, I stopped going here. Any of the other UPS stores are better than this. I was particularly annoyed to watch them try to upsell every single person with an Amazon return and tell them that they cannot accept it unless they bought additional packaging. My turn: When I responded that I was returning in the package it came in, the older woman behind the counter said: "That's impossible!" in a terrible voice. There is a long line usually because they are trying to upsell every customer, go ahead and take a look/listen while awaiting your turn to be admonished here. Another UPS accepted my Amazon return, without issue. It is probably time for someone at UPS to examine this store's practices. read more

In short Yes, they have all the stuff you need from UPS. Those services are all standardized--USPS drop, package delivery, package pickup, notary, etc. But the management changed and the service here has taken a nosedive. Unbelievably rude and angry now. In long It's the closest UPS store to my house, and they've helped me a ton in the past. Their notary service is reasonably priced and really saved my bacon a couple times a few years ago. The old staff were wonderful. Up until a few years ago. The last few times I have gone in to ship, though, have been a disaster. Each and every time, and I've given them close to 10 second chances. That's a lot of second chances, you know? I've had their trucks mess up wine club shipments in the past, which is not this store's fault, of course. The wine club agreed to ship stuff here, so I could pick it up. The system alerted both of us, each time, that the store had the parcel. So I came in to pick it up, and they acted outraged that I would send them a parcel to hold. They can't do that. No, they won't do that. No, it's not here. Because they don't have time to look for parcels. No, they never got it. No, they couldn't have accepted a parcel, anyway. A million different sputtering objections to being asked to do their jobs. They act irate if I have to double-check an address on my phone, if I did anything in a slightly different sequence than they were expecting, if their website said I can bring in something they'll handle (like an Amazon return) and they didn't know about it. Like belligerently, condescendingly, scoldingly rude, like I'm a bug and they're humans. I'm REALLY good at breaking the ice when people are having bad days, too, and nothing ever talks them off the edge. They work at a UPS store because, you know, they HATE dealing with strangers who need to ship packages and pray eternally for our deaths. The last time I was here I was so frustrated I just stopped talking and walked out...in front of friends who were in line behind me. I was so embarrassed and apologized to them later. I have no idea what happened to this place, but I will no longer be a UPS customer thanks to this store. I used them before for many services including notary and international shipping. When I would return an item from Amazon that I had packed, but did not tape it closed, that would not be problem. However, they changed their policy so that a 'free' return to Amazon that you packed at home, will now come with a $3 fee from UPS for their 'packaging' service. That 'packaging' service was a simple piece of tape. $3 for a little piece of tape??? Come on...what happened? They were gracious enough to put that $3 charge on their house account this time. I am glad I found out before I decided to ship multiple packages that I need to pack! In today's economy of charging for everything, including 8 cents for a plastic bag, now they charge $3 for a piece of tape! read more

Ok I've used this place a bunch of times with good service. However today....pure price gouging! I just needed a regular size medium box to ship some non-fragile stuff. They wanted to charge over $11 just for the box and another $12 to put stuff in the box. $11 FOR A BOX!! Nothing special about it. That is ridiculous. Also, there's not normally a long line (times have changed with COVID, hopefully it returns to normal) If you have a return label and no printer, you can forward it to their email while onsite and they will print/scan/etc. it's about $1.50 more and totally worth it. read more

There should be a zero star. I've been to this location quite a few times since moving here and while they have mediocre customer service at best most days. Today was the worst and I won't return. Pick a different UPS. The older woman worked decided it was appropriate to berate me the entire time I was in there because they mentioned a fee for taping the box shut. I asked if she was sure because while some of my Amazon directions say to do that, many don't and say just bring the item. This was my response. Honestly she should be fired. This place is a HUGE ripoff!!! $33 for a 20x20x20 where every other UPS store only charges around $16. I checked the other boxes and they are basically charging 2 to 3 times what other UPS stores in the area are charging. I imagined everything else at this location is over priced. The UPS store corporate office should throw the book at this location's owner for being a thief with having the audacity to over charge by that obscene amount. I started working with Disha and the other wonderful people at this location of the UPS Store after I had major back surgery 5 years ago. I am responsible for shopping for a very large family and this was right before Christmas and I was so worried about getting my job done and didn't have the energy to stand in line for shipping close to 100 packages. Disha and her staff allowed my husband to bring my packages to the store and leave them in a designated spot and then they got them mailed off for me and everything went so smoothly. They brought me great peace of mind and I have worked with them over the last 5 holiday seasons and also on a weekly basis for shipping all things great and small. They are friendly and professional and I know I can depend on them for whatever printing, copying, scanning, and shipping services I need. I don't know what I would do without them! read more

Normally I love this place. Although I usually deal with a regular girl who uses profanities expressing her dislikes about working Saturdays, and a very courteous gentleman who neither has mentioned any problems with our leaving our Amazon packages and others open, so they could verify what was being shipped ( so i thought.) today when i came in, there was a new lady who told me they dont put tape on packages, or she could charge me 2.00 to put a piece of tape on the package. She also complained that one of my packages was for Fed Ex, but that would be ok for her to pack up the box because they come by to pick up packages throughout the day. I informed the woman how i come in here regularly and noone has ever mentioned anything before. I was fully aware of Fed Ex coming by as they have picked up my packages in the past. I started to take my two boxes away and she asked what the other box was. I said it was Amazon, but it wasn't taped either, so I was leaving. She said for me to wait, they do take Amazon packages opened because Amazon wants them to pit the sticker label over the top, to close the box. ( confusing) so i left the one box and started out the door with the Fed ex box since it was not taped. She started yelling at me that she could tape it for two dollars. I said "no thanks." Then she said "you have been getting free service!" I stopped, turned around, and said " yes, but it would have been nice to know this before coming in here trying to be charged 2.00." ( hinting, that great customer service would have been to tape the fricken box for me today, and let me know for next time. But i am sure she had no clue. ) then i walked out to Fed Ex who thanked me for not closing the box, so they could verify what I was returning. I apologized to them, and they said no problem at all. I can't say enough about Pam and Stacy at this UPS store. My husband recently passed away and I had numerous legal documents to notarize and signature witness. Also had overnight shipping of documents to various institutions. The first time I walked in with a handful of the papers and explained my situation, I burst out crying. Pam and Stacy were so awesome and compassionate...also made suggestions to help me along. Since that first visit, I have been in and out many times, always looking forward not only to their efficiency but also to their comforting and humorous banter. Whether I'm there for mailing or notarizing, I find it uplifting and KNOW the paperwork will be sent in a safe manner. Recently I was there when a very demanding customer came in with lots of boxes. I stopped in at this location to ship a package to my son today. It was busy with a line of about 6 people in front of me but they seemed to move the line quickly which was very nice. The very nice staff member called for the next customer and that happened to be me. Right away she determined that I was looking to ship and proceeded to get basic information as to where it was being sent. While she got everything typed up we chatted a bit about how my day was going. She then provided me my options for getting my package delivered quickly. I chose a 3 day delivery option. She got everything done and rang up the charges. As she finished she moved my package to the side and I then grew concerned it was going to get left there where someone might see personal information that was on the label. She explained that due to a back injury she was limited on weight she could carry and another employee would put it in back as soon as possible. She then turned the box over so label was facing to the back so no one could see it. I really appreciate her good customer service. I asked for her name and was told Paula. I've never set foot in this store... but I had first-hand experience with Pam and Stacey's helpfulness when I left my knapsack at a nearby restaurant and then drove to Vancouver. From the moment I called them, I knew I was in good hands -- Pam went to the restaurant herself and collected my bag, and then they packaged it up in a laptop box to protect the tablet inside it, and shipped it to me. On Saturday, November 17, 2018, the agent (Stacy) attending the UPS Store #6453 located at 12918 Mukilteo Speedway Ste C-23 had the disgrace to treat me as a dirt-bag and being disrespectful for asking for a piece of 12inch tape to seal a package that was being returned to Amazon. Her remarks were as stated: "You cannot use our tape and next time you need to bring your package sealed". After the rude comment was made, she decided to take the same tape I was asking for to seal the package. At the moment, I had to tell her to stop what she was doing so I can go to the store next door to purchase a roll of packing tape. When she realized I was not backing down from those terrible remarks, she tried twice to sealed the package. For the second time I told her not to do so. At this point in time, I took the package over to the next store to get packing tape to seal it. The package was dropped off the UPS Store for final processing. The customer service received by Stacy at the Lynnwood Store 6453 has been less than acceptable and undesirable by any standards set by UPS. Customers should not be treated as such in the business services, quality control, and customer satisfaction for those UPS Store to remain in good standings working order. read more

There were two people in line in front of me when I arrived. To each person she said please have your boxes taped up next time. I went to the counter and to acknowledge her request I said I will have my box taped up next time. She got all defensive and said we're just a small business and time is money. I picked up my box and said I will tape it. I went to the store and bought tape and returned with the box taped up. She continued to be very rude and defensive and did not acknowledge me as a customer. Never using this UPS store ever again. read more

After the snow hit, I was panicking cuz I had a return that HAD to go out that day and after multiple emails to the vendor requesting an extension they never responded. I don't have a computer at home so I went to the library to print return label but they were closed and I almost got stuck on the hill by the place. Very friendly and helpful staff. It is so easy to drop off packages for Amazon returns, eBay shipments etc. I purchased a roll of shipping tape and also learned that they can receive my shipments when I am out of town. 5 star for the guy that helped me! He was nice and did his work. 0 stars to a lady that may have been his boss? Short brunette hair lady who obviously hates her job and looked miserable! I waited in line for 20 mins to pick up an order that had shipped there. When I got to the counter the guy tried to find my box but it wasn't back there. He pointed to a stack of boxes and said mine is probably in there but it just got delivered so they have not scanned it in yet. He and I went over to the stack of boxes to look for my packages. After about 15 seconds of looking the short hair brunette lady says, "you are going to need to come back in an hour because we haven't scanned those in yet. And look at the line there's a ton of people waiting." I'm sorry I've now spend about 23 mins in this store and of those 20, only 3 mins have been spent at that front counter. She was helping people who took 15+ mins and that was ok but apparently not for me. As the guy who was helping me heard this he then found my boxes and quickly helped me. I could tell he didn't want to annoy her. Thanks to his help I didn't have to return later. Apparently I was an inconvenience to to their service. read more

We were moving from Mukilteo, WA to CA and needed to have some items shipped via the UPS Store at the listed address. From the time we entered the door, our experience began. We were introduced to a lady by the name of Pam. We told her what we needed to have done, if it were possible and I can't tell you enough how professional, customer oriented, very friendly, helpful and knowledgable she was. While talking with her she stated that she used to live at the same place we did years ago and when rent prices went out of control she moved. Pam is to be commended on everything she did to make sure our freight arrived here in CA. She took extra care to make sure everything arrived good, packed very, very good - nothing was broken all came on time. We even had items that she was able to donate to a couple needing them which made us feel great. Thank you Pam for all you did and the great experience you provided us with we will NEVER forget that as your Customer Service skills are OUTSTANDING and to be commended. The new manager is so so disrespectful an older lady with grey hair. The nastiest attitude I've ever seen in customer service not sure how she got a management job. I just went in to return an Amazon package and there was a few people in front of me. Not an issue I don't mind waiting but the attitude this lady had with customers almost made me walk out and go to another UPS. When it was finally my turn, I got the other employee, Emma or Emily (sorry I wasn't sure) who was the sweetest young lady ever and so helpful she got me in and out quickly but while she was helping me the older lady was just giving customers the worst attitude ever like she was mad she had to be at work and was taking it out on the patrons she had an awful cigarette smell, it was very off putting. I came back to the plaza a few hours later to visit the HR block and found the older lady smoking next to a no smoking sign. Unacceptable. read more

I am not sure where Pam has gone. She was really nice. The short hair lady who now works here is straight out rude. Not sure if she is the owner or the manager but has no customer service skills at all. I went in there and asked a few questions and her responses were snappy. I do use UPS a LOT and went there a few days ago and my young daughter mentioned that the lady was rude and I said oh maybe she is having a bad day but I went days later and she was her same rude self. I think she is just arrogant and feels too highly about herself. If the owners are reading - they need to watch out. As I know for sure that I will not be using this location for my shipping needs though it's the closest to my place of residence. Wake up lady! read more

I was visiting from Michigan, had purchased bear spray for hiking and wanted to ship it home, given it cannot be flown back. Pam, the store manager, was so incredibly helpful getting me the information I needed to properly ship a Hazmat item. She went out of her way to print out the proper identifying labels and refer me to the local UPS hub to ship it home. She even gave me the box and bubble wrap to ship free of charge (I paid to ship it at the local UPS hub). This is the kind of customer service I rarely encounter, but reminds me of how powerful being kind to a stranger from out of town is. I would have had no idea how to ship a very expensive item home without Pam's help. Were I to live in the area, I would visit no other shop for any shipping or parcel needs. This is the closest UPS to my office, so I am here probably once a week, minimum. Pam is so helpful! She always greets me with a smile and is so warm and welcoming! During the holidays she even brought in homemade treats for all the customers waiting in the lines to mail out presents! She has helped me out more than once when I am not following proper mailing procedures, and never gives it a second thought. Don't go here on December 15th, when one of the employees called in with car problems so there was only one woman working, and the lady in line ahead of you brought in piles of presents, all going to different addresses and needing separate packing and boxing. Horrible customer service from the short haired brunette lady. She was curt and downright rude. When someone behind me asked a question, she responded with arrogance, telling her that she would get to her later. Some people that work here (or used to work here, based on what I'm reading now on yelp) are very helpful and friendly but this lady wasn't even mediocre in customer service. When she saw our letter that we wanted to send express, due to our time constraints and because we were already there with packages to ship, her face cringed with irritation. She looked at the letter and even seemed hesitant to take it. Overall, based on her rude demeanor, brash conduct with customers and a reluctance to do her own job, I find it more worthwhile to drag all my packages to the next town over, rather than deal with such a lack of standard respect. read more
