Went a couple days ago because I had to print 24 pages and I was having some trouble emailing them, I was helped by Chris and you could tell he was annoyed because I had sent multiple emails and he was getting confused and printing some double. Which I understand not ideal and sure might be annoying, but I checked my receipt when I got home and realized he charged me for 45 pages and a network fee of $2..why charge me double? For your time and trouble? That money isn't even going into ur pocket! Just wrong. Tried calling the same day but there was no manager. I have visited the UPS location several times I have had nothing but good experiences. Their staff is very friendly and hard-working they're always willing to help you and try to assist you the best they can. They have everything there to assist you and they work as fast as they can and do whatever is in their power to help you as much as they can. I would recommend at this UPS store to anyone. I love the store itself is clean stays clean and their lines do get along at times but the girls there are always working hard to assist and get customers out as fast as they can. Went for notary services, and was in and out in 10 or 15? Gentlemen that assisted with my notary walked up, and didn't even introduce himself. "Stand at the counter and meet me there." Standoffish. He was very quiet during the whole experience, and conversed with OTHER customers casually as he was assisting me. He didn't ask me anything, or talk. I would ask him questions and he didn't seem to want to hear it. "I'm just attaching the form to this and that's it." It was very awkward. I don't know why I couldn't receive the same pleasantness that he was giving everyone else. When he helped me it felt like I was burdening him when I wasn't. Annoyed enough to leave a review. This is a post about how this store made my experience with UPS a horrible one to a pleasant one. It all started yesterday when I returned from vacation and noticed that there was a package on my front steps. I looked at the address and realized that it was the address was off by one number but that the person the parcel was suppose to deliver to lived on the same street. I didn't want to drop it off and have the person file a claim and say they never received that packet and get another parcel. So I thought that it would be a good idea to just give it to UPS so they can straighten it out themselves. I placed it in the trunk of my car so I can dropped it off at the UPS near my work place on Palo Verdes. (THIS WAS A BAD IDEA). So at lunch my coworker and I decided to go there and explain the situation and drop off the package. I walked in and was greeted by someone. (I didn't get his name and I frankly don't even want to know his name.) I explained my situation and he looked at the package and said its been opened and looked at me and said so we can't return this. (I might add he had a tone in his voice that irritated me, as if I was the one who opened the package, maybe because of my skin color, I don't know but it just felt like he was a little judgmental, or maybe I was having an off morning.) So I told him that ok I never opened it. I just came back from vacation and saw the package on the porch. So since they were closed when I got home yesterday I thought it would be a good idea to just drop off this package so it can go to its rightful owner. Apparently, that was out of the question. He stated and I quote, "you can either take it and drop it off at their doorstep or it can go in the trash." Are you kidding me? Is this how UPS handles its packages? And I addressed my surprise to his statement by saying, "so you cant send it back?" He replied, "Or you can pay to have it shipped to the house?" So let me get this shit straight guy who works at the UPS store. This package that was on my door step, that I didn't even open is either going to be delivered to the intended party by me, thrown in the trash, or I can pay to have it shipped to the intended party? ME? PAY TO HAVE IT F*CKEN SHIPPED TO THE INTENDED PARTY, WHILE IT WAS AN ERROR THAT ONE OF THE DRIVERS MADE. "So, there's nothing you can do?" I say. "No" he replied its been open. Ok I didn't open it I replied. Well its looks like there was tape here and now its not, he pointed to a brown spot on the package. SO THAT IS WEIRD", he replies back. (May I add, my coworker has now walked out of the store shaking her head because of the things he are saying. He then puts tape on the box and I say "you know what I got it", and he says sorry, I can't do anything about it (which was the only thing that came out of his mouth that made any lick of sense. And I left. My coworker and I were so upset that I wanted to speak to someone else from UPS. To see what they would say about the package. SO, I drove home, to LONG BEACH, on my LUNCH BREAK. I got there and my coworker says let me handle it. I walk in with my coworker and she tells the person behind the UPS counter about how we ended up with this package. And the first words out of the person's mouth was, "OK, We will just send it back out to our drivers." NO questions, no judgments, no having me drop it off myself, no TRASHCANS, and no paying to have it shipped. I then jumped in and told this woman behind the counter about the incident that happened at the other store and told her that he had put tape on it because it was "opened". She looked at the packaged and said there was no tape that had been removed but a stain that was on the box. A FUCKEN STAIN. She pointed out the stain on the front flap and turned it over and there was nothing there, no removal of tape like the other guy said there was or anything. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I told her that he put the tape on there and everything and she said even if there was, THERE WAS tape that had been removed UPS AND VERIZON HAVE A CONTRACT AND IT WOULD BE REPLACE IF ANYTHING WAS MISSING. She went on to say that the other person must of been "NEW" or didn't know that. I found out her name, which was FELECIA, and being the idiot that I was I shouted out "BYE FELECIA as I walked out the store. I am telling you she was polite and addressed the situation with grace. I am not sure if the other guy was having an off day, or if that is how he is but I will never go back to that store. EVER. He just made me feel like the bad guy for bringing the package in. I'm not sure if it was his intention, but that is how I felt leaving that store after his service. So my advice if you were given a package by UPS that doesn't belong to you and want to get it back to its rightful owner then go to the UPS store in LONG BEACH, ON Atlantic Ave. Their number is 5629816245 and say hi to Felecia for me. read more

I've had a mailbox here for almost 3 years, so I go in here probably about twice a week. Everyone at this store is super nice and helpful! They take good care of my mail, and my billion amazon packages coming in. If I want to mail something, they are always quick to answer all my questions and figure out the best/cheapest way for me to mail something. And with my packages, if its something heavy, the guys there are always willing to help walk the package out to my car without me even asking. I'm moving next week out of the area and even though it sounds weird, this is definitely one place I will be sad about losing in the move. We had an issue with letters being addressed to the wrong PO Box number and the store was proactive in making sure the letters came to our box. I have used this location before without any problems, but today, I was extremely disappointed in the service received by Andy. I went in and stood in line behind a gentleman. When I noticed that he was not moving, I asked him if he was in line and he stated no. Andy saw me walk around the man to stand in line. He did not say anything and continued working at the counter. When another man came in and stood behind the same man, Andy immediately stopped what he was doing and asked the man to step forward and assisted him with his package. Not cool! read more

Worst experience EVER! If I could give negative stars, I would. I shipped a laptop with their store about a month ago. I had their store pack the laptop and other items for me and sent it next day air. Some how by the time it got to the recipient, the screen was completely cracked and the system error message could not be seen. I made sure to purchase insurance so I would be covered if anything went wrong. I did everything I was instructed to do to file a claim and have the damage repaired only to be told that they were not responsible for the damage. Before I gave the laptop to them it worked just fine and the screen and everything else was intact. I checked it before handing it over to them. Their reasoning for denying my claim was insufficient packaging. As I mentioned earlier, their store packaged the laptop. What I cannot understand is why would they encourage you to get insurance only to not take responsibility if either a person packs the item him/herself or they think the person packed the item him/herself. I am under the impression that this is a common practice. They encourage you to get insurance only to not be responsible when they damage your items if you packaged it yourself. They should tell people upfront that you are sending your items at their own risk if you package it yourself. They should also inform people that the only way for a claim on the insurance to go through is to have their store package their items. I have been given the run around with no results. I do not plan to patronize their store or any other UPS once I resolve this issue. As I said before and I will say it again, worst experience EVER! read more

First of all you are think that sending your packages at UPS will be safe think again or is it just this place who knows but this place at 3335 Atlantic UPS store is very unorganized and unprofessional about how to treat a customer had an issue with one lady I'll get her name and updated and put it on on your child could put her on the spot well they couldn't find my package which the package was delivere less than an hour ago and they lost it they can't find it and when she was trying to look for it she told me I can't find it just go to Amazon and get another one will do it for free I'm like what I came here as a customer I have a PO box and you're telling me to do this and she goes well you have to come back later I go I'm not coming back later I'm here to get my package I sent here less than an hour ago and she says well I can't find it right now so you need to come back later I said what did you say come back later my package is here right now and how am I supposed to come back later I'm busy so as well then I don't know you know there's so much thing so much you could do as a customer and nothing really happens it's just you to get more angry I'm already angry as a as it is and also another lady comes out cuz I was just waiting there waiting and waiting until I can't find him I got me so mad so they said I will call you when we find it oh that made me so mad I don't know what else to say this place is so horrible is packages everywhere you wonder why they can't find any package cuz they are unorganized these they're not organized at all it's so messy in there so I could just get the packages throw it away somewhere and I hope whoever won the store looks into this and resist post I put because this is not right this is not what I expected 30 month for a mailbox I'm just angry because it seems like the employees are don't care they just say oh well next I do not even taking time to just look for it all in all first of all they should be more organized where they could find every package not scattered everywhere like like a tornado hit there and I'm just venting on this damn Yelpwhich is not going to really help I'm just sitting in front of the UPS store in my car riding this post right now and still waiting and and a car hit their front store building that's what they get so there's really nothing much I could do is just to get mad and just I don't know then I was in line one day and see if they haven't you're one customer like damn that sucks and you know what's going to happen to me and it did and she was so angry and there's nothing really as customers could do about this cuz if there's nothing else to do if they can't find any can't find it but it's their fault they can't find it cuz you're not organized or they just don't know why they put the packages after they get delivered how's that sound that sounds horrible I hope they f****** change I don't know how many packages do you lose in there or if they lose maybe someone stealing packages in there that's that's another option that might be happening so I'm going to report them to the BBB better business bureau read more

They are all friendly and professional. Recently, my mother, moved from California to Georgia. I used their services to transport all my mother's precious, personal property (from furniture to china). There was a young lady today, Monday, June 12th at 3:00 pm working there that was just having a bad day and not treating customers with a good customer service. I had a question about taping the label on top of another package. that was my only concern if I was able to do that or if I had to buy another package to put my item.. When I approached her, she told me with an attitude and a negative tone of voice, "You have to make line if you have any questions". She was so rude and direct. I responded back with "I just had a simple question before making line" She said "You have to make line" again with a rude voice. She was an employee and should be able to answer any questions any simple questions. but she was very rude. Another young lady told her off and she was back at it with her. The other customer told her to calm down, that she was having a bad day and that she just needs to breathe. The employee responded back and saying every where you go, you have to make line for questions. event at DMV. The employee was just rude as hell. she needs to calm down. I don't know if it she was the manager or just a customer rep, but it looks she hates her job and needs to get out of there, because customers don't need to be blamed for. read more

I am once reminded why I stopped coming here. You either get rude staff or inexperienced staff. I came in said to Marco I would like to mail this envelope will you please put some tape on it. (To secure it because it was a Manila envelope) he asks if I want a tracking number I said no he puts it on a different scale and the puts postage on it and puts it with the other mail to go out. So now I'm annoyed and I tell.him can you put the tape on it like I asked? His response was a very loud and rude YA! and then asks me what kind of tape I want? And holds up scotch tape. For real buddy these are tax returns that have my personal info on it. So i said you know what just give it to me and I'll mail it myself at the post office he then proceeds to tell me there postage is metered and all he can do is give me my money back. So I say FINE after which I had to enter my ENTIRE card number in the keypad along with the expiration date to get my 3.90 back. And then as I leave with a smart ass tone says Have a great day!!! So now I will be contacting the local news channel to do a story on them and their horrible service. The sad part is I used to come here every week because it was close to my house but now I drive further just to not disrupt my peace and tranquility. Marco customer service is not your thing bro. They offer live scan services and they are so good at it and quick and depending on your case, it's different price but for me it was $70. Definitely recommend them for future live scan. read more

This place is a RIPOFF! Recently visited this place to purchase a stamp (ONE stamp) and was charged 70 cents. Stamps at the PO are 49 cents! I understand profit and convenience but a 21 cent profit is ridiculous. Can't say I will use this place again. read more

All the people that work at this store are fantastic! Great customer service, friendly and helpful. I had a ton of boxes I needed shipped they worked great as a team came out to my car with a dolly took out all the packages gave me receipts and the ups driver loaded them all up in his truck because I needed them to be shipped that day. They were so kind to me knowing I was on a time crunch with 20 huge boxes it took less than 10 minutes to get everything done. I was beyond grateful. Keep up the good work. You guys rock! read more

Well after being here for nine years I would have to say not the same over the last year and I shut down my box. In the past year about 50% of checks that I should of gotten some how got lost in the mail, & the other main reason I stopped service was that after being there for nine years I felt that 6 days notice for the annual rent fees was to say for the least a little short (thinking that in the past more notice was given) especially since I was out of town for two weeks for my mothers funeral. The other problems I had was over the past year there was one new employee that was working there who at times would refuse to check mail and last of all when I would either go by or call to bring it to Anthony's attention he wasn't there and then you would just forget about. Sad thing was that the first eight years was the best deal you could ever have, with most of the people there being some of best people that you could ever deal with and now that's over. read more

Do not go to this store! Especially on a hot day. Long story, but basically very, very, very dissatisfied with this UPS store!! The store is stuffy, hot, and it actually stinks in there. It's very disorganized and messy. But even worse than that, they were unable to make basic business cards for me successfully!! I gave up after the third time around and just accepted the cards even if they were still unsatisfactory. I ended up spending over 2 weeks of my time, and spending $56 for 100 incorrect cards. First time around, the picture was too small, blurry and off centered. They put a pink border around the edges without even asking me. I was shocked that they even had the nerve to expect me to accept them. Next, redesigned the cards. Got them back, but they were printed on super thin, extremely flimsy paper! I couldn't believe that this was the quality of work they put out. Finally, I brought in a random, normal business card with thick card stock and said I wanted it put on this kind of top grade paper. I just picked them up, and they were still very flimsy, and not like the example card I brought in for them. I gave up. I needed a business card. I only went there because I saw a commercial on television advertising that UPS stores did business cards. But I'm here to tell you, they don't do them well at all. Extremely disappointed. read more
