This location needs better staff. This is the 3rd time I've had to come back after being turned away due to employee telling me the item was not delivered. Even with proof, the employees tell me the item is not there. On April 6 & 17 I was turned away. When returning back with a the tracking info another employee tells me the package reached the maximum period item can be picked up and was sent back to sender. Today's employee tells me we have a lot of new employees. Unbelievable! read more

The customer service here is really hit or miss. A few years ago I had two letters returned for insufficient postage that they had metered, but they are close to home and whenever I want to take my chances, I'll go there instead of the post office. Don't bother mailing letters after the mailman is gone for the day. Half the time they will rudely refuse to take it and will tell you to come back the next day or go to the post office, the other half of the time they will run it through the meter and tell you it won't go out until the next day. I guess some employees don't think keeping mail overnight there is safe? Maybe they think they are breaking some federal law by metering a letter that won't be picked up until the next day? Unfortunately, I am forced to avoid this location. I have been several times for my shipping needs and most of the time they are helpful and I have no issues. However, on my last visit, I brought 2 packages to be shipped and had labels printed at the store. I was very clear about which label went to which package, but the packages ended up in the wrong locations and one of the packages arrived damaged. I was able to sort things out with the recipients, but the whole situation ended up costing me about $100. I called the store to see if they would offer any reimbursement for the mistake. I understand these things happen, but they declined to offer any retribution for the mistake on their end. At this point, I can't really trust that I won't have additional costs when shipping from this location which I can't afford. I will have to avoid going forward. read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I wanted to ship documents UPS ground to Fullerton. The young woman with greasy hair, who wears an amethyst necklace was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I ship documents this way every week and have done so for the last 2 years. She told me they couldn't help me and to go to the post office. I mentioned how I've done this shipping at the Lakewood location and she literally told me to go back to that store. A young man was present, if he was a manger, if did absolutely nothing to help me. Get your employee a limpia bc her crystals aren't working and needs a chakra alignment. TIP: straight from an employee at this location: go to the Lakewood UPS store. Not all UPS stores provide good service, but this one certainly came through. We needed a document notarized on a Saturday, and not only did they recognize it was a busy day and had three people working, several were notaries. We were greeted upon entry and they quickly organized a table where we could take care of the notarization. The store was pretty busy and all the employees were polite and professional. Our notary asked appropriate questions and we were in and out in 15 minutes. I appreciate organized good service, and would certainly recommend this store. read more

Been there about 1/2 dozen times to drop off packages and employees are somewhat efficient but lack apathy and not really engaging or personable. I've let it go, because normally I'm just dropping off a pre-labeled package and I wait for a few occurrences before posting a review. This time my elderly parents needed some documents notarized so I went on line and checked the hours of the store and scheduled an on-line appointment for the notary. We arrived 5-10 minutes early for our appointment today and the owner was there and said he was closed. No apologies, no explanation. Just a dirty look as if I inconvenienced him when I explained we had an appointment. I understand that it may have been the observed holiday for New Year's day. However, it's his job as a business owner to communicate that on his website and to cross off unavailability on his online scheduling system. What's the point of having it if you don't use it? I may have even not been mad if he was apologetic or sincere. Definitely not patronizing this place again. read more

I have a PO Box at this location. I've been going here for maybe 15 years or more. Anthony and his crew are always so wonderful . Marcos ,Jocelyn always help me right away.I come at least once to twice a week and they always greet me with a smile. I didn't want to write a bad review but I don't know what else to do. This UPS location lost a return package that was worth $200. This happened in October 2021 I kept trying to follow up on the whereabouts of the package. Spoke with the manager and she said there wasn't anything that she could do since this package's tracking number wasn't generated by UPS. She said that they weren't allowed to file a claim and that the seller i had bought the item from would have to file it. Of course the seller isn't going to help me file since he's trying to keep the money so no claims were filed. With that said the return item never made it back and I am out $200. I feel that since I had used UPS's service that they should've let me (the sender) file a claim for the item they lost or at least put out a notice to try and look into the warehouses it's gone through. I have no idea what happen to the package whether it's just sitting at a facility labeless collecting dust or if it was stolen within/without the company. At this point I feel robbed that no one was able to help me. It was completely UPS's fault & with that said I will not use their services anymore because I can't trust they will do their job. read more

I have used his services for client notaries. I came here on Saturday to ship a gift to my sister. I didn't have a box, or any packing materials. I thought, heck, I'll get all my supplies and needs met there, just like the commercials. The girl that waited on me was very nice but had no personality or interest in any conversation. I asked how much to ship my item and she just brought out a box and started taping it together. I had to interrupt and ask her how much it would cost to ship it and possibly adding a card in the box. Were there some options for the choice of box? I have no idea.I just went with the flow She said around $28. The end. She didn't scan anything, not even the card. I'm wondering if it includes bubble wrap, foam peanuts, tissue paper, what? Does my item flop around in the box on its way across the country? I went and grabbed a card and started to fill it out after I gave her the address and filled out the shipping slip. Don't get me wrong, she was very polite just not informative at all. I added insurance paid for everything and then she mentioned that she would put some peanuts in there so it stays still. Great! I love that, just wish I knew what is included in this wonderful wrapping service I see on commercials. And her colleague that was walking around doing nothing while all the PO Boxes were wide open had his pants hanging below his but and his shirt wasn't pulled down. So while she was helping me he's walking around in the background with his ass hanging out. Dude, you're at work, c'mon. Who knows, maybe it was just an off day for them. I gave it 3 stars b/c in the end my box was shipped and insured, but for $28 and it was a light package. Next time I will visit the USPS. PROS: -Close location to my home -Ample parking, shares a lot with CVS and other little places in the plaza -Not that may people there -Have cards, pens, markers, a few odds and ends (school supplies type stuff) CONS: -Employees dress inappropriately (pants sagging below ass, you see their underwear from bottom of back down. Rude, unhelpful, didn't deliver my package. Poor customer service. They did not deliver my package as intended on the day paid for, they would not return it to me and have not returned it to me. I called their customer service and they said it was UPS's fault and UPS is a different company than the UPS store. So I called customer service as UPS and they said it was the UPS store's fault for not coordinating with them correctly. Then the UPS store tried to charge me an additional $140 just to have the package shipped to the person it intended to go to but UPS and the UPS Store failed in it's attempt. I spent $160 for absolutely nothing. No refund. They refused to give me a refund stating it was UPS's fault not the UPS store. Shipping fail. Customer Service fail. Long Beach fail. read more

I had an urgent shipment that needed to be sent and I was pressed for time therefore I couldn't stand there and wait until they were done packaging. I was a little concerned because the items were large and fragile. They manager assured me they would take good care and so I left. The package arrived with no issues whatsoever. Terrible. Took for-freaking-ever. All I needed to do was drop off a package that had a pre-paid label. Really? I have to wait in line behind the 4 people who are trying to make copies and sign up for a PO box and need help taping their box shut? It takes 3 of you to stand around and watch the 4th struggle with the register transaction? Un-sat. Also, they had recently re-located from another location within the same strip mall. The lady said they moved last wednesday. 6 days ago, and you still have shit on the floor where I have to step over stuff to get to the counter? I could not be less impressed with this place. Next time, I'll just go to the Office Depot in Signal Hill, they're not exactly speedy either, but they're way better than this place. read more

I called earlier in the day and asked what time I had to be there to ensure the RFP would be there by 10 am the next day. I was given accurate info. The 4 RFPs got to their destination on time. This store used to be good but in the last 6 months they've lost 5 packages, over $100 worth of stuff. The first 4 packages they said there was nothing they could do because even though it was delivered to that store and signed for by an employee of that store, it was not shipped through ups and they had no way of seeing what happened to it. The last package was delivered by ups to the ups store and had the name of the employee who signed for it but they still could not locate it and suggested that the sender forgot to put the item in a different, random box that I signed for that had nothing to do with my missing package. To top it all off I've received two packages that where not mine (they belonged to other people that use that facility) and when I suggested that the same thing might have happened to my packages they shrugged and said they had no protocol for that situation and that they couldn't be sure that my packages where not given to someone else. Also once I was missing a package for two weeks and I spotted what looked like my oversized item in the back so I asked them to check it and it turned out they completely forgot to label it. How long where they going to keep it back there collecting dust?! Seriously find another store to handle your items. read more
