Tom was there for me and served as intermediary / hostage negotiator between me and this a-hole. Three hours later I was reunited with my bentley dashboard and I almost hugged Tom. I shipped a package tonight at the store, and Tom was a saint. I had printed the label online for the first time and hadn't received a shipping label. Tom went above and beyond to help me log in and track down the label info I needed. This was all close to closing and he was very patient, even when I had to double back to fix an error on the shipping label. Thank you so much, Tom! You're a class act. read more

Came to this very convenient location to get a document notarized a month ago and then after we sent it off to the secretary of state in Sacramento, we got a letter in the mail saying it was rejected because of a date change. The only reason for rejection that we could figure out was that my partner accidentally wrote a 5 then wrote over the 5 to be a 3 when writing the date. That was his mistake. But, Chase saw this and still notarized the document. After it was rejected by the secretary of state, we came back to redo the form and Chase thought it was appropriate to charge us again! I asked if this mistake had happened before and he said yes and that my partner could have initialed the error and it would have been accepted and I said that I wish he told us this at the time and he proceeds to tell us that he's not allowed to tell us, which is ridiculous as it's literally his job. It was his oversight and we shouldn't have been charged a second time. This notary does not pay attention to detail and does not own his mistakes. I highly recommend finding a reliable and ethical notary for your documents, unfortunately NOT the one at this location. read more

Very nice and helpful people work at this location. I go there mostly to return Amazon orders and before they installed Amazon kiosk for returns all returns were handled by the counter. I felt for the employees because in addition to their usual work they had to handle the people with returns. Even then the kids were very patient and friendly. I usually had Chase and his team serve me. Very efficient and friendly team. Now when there is an Amazon self-serve kiosk it is easier on them, and still they are always friendly and when they are not busy they come out and pet my dog. My dog adores them. It is pretty busy location, so the people there are doing great job! read more

The only ups I've been to that charges $3+ to print their own label. Went to my regular location and they shipped it just fine.

This location lost my package whenever I went to drop it off, the employee I handed it to said he'd scanned it in and failed to do so. And whenever I spoke to Tom the manager he said he's start an investigation to look for which I then found out was a lie when speaking to the UPS customer service hotline. Not only that but every time I call and would speak to Tom he would say I'll call you back in 10 and never does. It's been a month since they've lost my package and haven't don't anything. read more

I've mailed a number of items here and the employees are always kind and responsive. I've come here with large packages that the employees have helped me tape, package and securely mail. Most recently, I had to have a notary for some documents. The notary isn't there every day, but about every other day from about 9:30am-2pm. I came first thing in the morning and she was helpful in helping me notarize some documents and mail them out. It came a little pricey at $15 per notary (I needed two); next time I'll probably try to use a local bank service, but overall; I was happy with the quickness of the process! He can have that attitudes if he is a business owner after all he is hurting his own pocket. Less than $20 detour on our way to vacation! The girl behind the counter even let us use the stapler for free! This is a fairly easy location to get to, but parking is a booger. read more

I'd gone on vacation and ordered a gazillion items in a variety of colors and options from Amazon in preparation for my trip, knowing I'd be able to return them. Several of them didn't arrive prior to my trip and when I returned to the US, I had numerous unopened Amazon parcels awaiting me containing products I no longer needed. In total, I initiated 17 returns with Amazon. I thought I selected my local UPS store for all of them, only to learn when I arrived that several of them were at "Amazon hubs" near LBSU, which is not convenient to this location. So long story short, I roll in and the energetic and positive young lady (I totally forgot to ask her name) helped me sort through this mishap. She processed 13 of my 17 returns by individually scanning each Amazon QR code from my phone. She kindly explained that I'd selected the incorrect options for the remaining four items and recommended that I cancel the returns and attempt to select their store, if possible. She also offered to package up the remaining returns for their required fee but respected my decision to return home and package them myself for free. I wish I'd asked her name because she was really patient and helpful with me as I dumped a major return on her and made errors. She walked me thru the process to remedy this by looking at my Amazon account on my phone and walking me thru the correct steps to rectify my error. The best part is, I run home and come running back approximately two minutes prior to them closing their doors for the evening. In fact, as I'm hustling in, a male employee was headed to the front to close and lock their door. I asked him if it was okay and briefly asked for the young lady who'd prebuilt helped me an hour prior and he said she'd gone home for the evening but he'd happily help me. I was extremely apologia because I know what it's like to work retail all day and just want to get home. He reassured me a couple of times that no apologies were needed and he'd willingly help me. He proceeded to do so but I'd made another mistake. Three of my four returns required packing labels which needed to be physically printed out, unbeknownst to me. He willingly sent these labels to their printer for no fee by navigating thru my Amazon account on my phone. He went above and beyond and I sincerely appreciated his top-tier customer service!!! He could have sent me home packing again to resolve the matter on my own and rectify my own mistake, but instead he welcomed me in right as he was closing and assisted me without issue. THIS is excemptlimfied customer service and for that reason I had to acknowledge the professionalism of Tom. He didn't want to be personally recognized but he earned every bit of this positive review, to which I hope his management recognizes how much of an asset he is. Thank you, Tom! Do not bring Amazon returns here. I ordered the wrong camera for a work project, and needed to return it. We usually bring our Amazon returns to Whole Foods (also free, and does not require printing a label). But, this UPS store is close to my bank, so I decided to drop off here. The staff were polite. They scanned my QR code, took the item, and gave me a receipt. Three weeks later, I tracked the item using the number on my receipt. It still had not even left the store. I think this store gets a lot of Amazon returns, but in the age of same-day Prime shipping, this time frame to ship a small camera from LA to Las Vegas is ridiculous. 26 days after dropping off my item, Amazon received it and issued the refund. Maybe this store is okay for other shipping purposes. read more

This is the BEST ups store around !!! I haven't been there long but know that I wouldn't rent a mailbox from anywhere else. It's 24 hours so if you want to get your mail after hours you can call right before closings and they will move your packages or mail to a overnight slot so you still get them. I never have had any packages lost and even when I Have been late on paying for my box it has never stopped be from getting my mail and packages. They are the best! I don't typically rate on Yelp but had to for this business bc I strongly suggest using this ups then anywhere else if you want to make sure your packages go out on time or not get lost or if wanting to rent a mailbox! read more

I couldn't even wait to get in my car to write how much I appreciated her because she was honest, genuine, personable and helpful. I had never returned anything from an online store before and not only did she not make me feel dumb but she gave me some excellent pointers to look out for in the future as well as a little shortcut on how to get to the confusing parking structure next door lol she saved me time and headaches and I truly want to thank her and hope she is getting the same treatment she gives because she is wonderful; I wish there were more people like her in the world. I arrived one evening to seek help transporting my live Betta fish (of which I was told I could ship when I called the week prior) and the dude looked at me like I was scalping PlayStations near a children's hospital. There was ZERO attempt to consult UPS company policy/guidance and well, ZERO attempt to be a decent human being really. The shipping business connects us to our friends, family, and colleagues in an infinite number of beautiful and important ways. If someone is indecent enough to reject you without actually having knowledge of their job, they shouldn't work there. Take your business elsewhere or wait until this dude is replaced. My very very very valuable item in my return package I was sending out was stolen from this location. When I dropped off the package she scanned the return label then took it and I wanted to make sure the package was going to be handled securely so I told the store employee that this valuable item was in the box and please make sure that it is sealed all the way because the label was the seal and it wasn't placed on the box yet and she honestly was surprised I told her what was inside the package and then said ok and I left it to her. Two days later I get an email from the company I was sending the item back to that said they received my box but it was empty inside. I am so upset and disappointed this has happened this incident needs to be reviewed because I am sure this isn't the first time this has happened. read more

This UPS store is pretty straightforward. You have your P.O. Boxes, packaging, packaging supplies and paper. It's a whole in the wall place that does the very basics when it comes to shipping. It's a store that you get in there and you get out. When I go there, I usually just ship stuff off and for the most part I don't spend that much time in there. It seems to me about five minutes (give or take) and I'm gone. I've had quick customer service and I would say that most of the people there are friendly enough. Although, I've had a couple of encounters with a few who don't really seem to enjoy their jobs. So, if you need to ship something off or pick something up (I haven't personally done that), then it's the type of place that will get it done. read more

The two workers at this store were sooooo helpful with packaged our extremely large box. They helped cut the box down to better hold our belongings. I've been visiting this location for years and my experience has been FANTASTIC. I've never had an issue and have always been greeted by cordial staff and even the owner of the location, Joe. Yes, it's a little more expensive than the USPS in some cases. The USPS is subsidized by tax dollars (you're paying for it every pay period) and its employees have no incentive to give a shit about you. At one point I had shipped off a $2,000+ camera as an Amazon return through this location and Amazon mucked up the package tracking in their warehouse. They told me I couldn't have a refund unless I could prove that I sent the package. I was a dummy and threw away the receipt (having faith in the system) so I was stuck. UPS doesn't automatically link credit cards to shipments for their employees to review, so my only hope was to ask Joe to pour through his shipping records with a rough estimate of the shipment date to help me out. He did so without hesitation, spending probably over an hour all-up. I've never received that kind of help from USPS. As an aside: Things don't always work out exactly as you'd expect. Shipping systems still have humans moving bits around, and humans are imperfect. I suspect that many of the negative reviews here on Yelp come from people who are easily disgruntled - keep this in mind and take a look at any given user's distribution of 1-star vs 5-star reviews (click on their profile) as you assess the credibility of their content. read more
