However, they did not ask me to do this, nor did they follow that procedure with the smaller TV in my bedroom. What I also don't understand is why I would ask them to move a broken 70-inch TV in the first place. If I knew the TV was already broken, there would have been no reason for me to pay movers to transport a large, broken TV to my new home. When I tried to discuss the situation with the owner/manager, the conversation unfortunately became confrontational. He raised his voice, became defensive, and accused me of lying about the TV working before the move. Moving is already expensive, and I don't believe it's fair that I should now have to cover the cost of replacing a TV that was working before the move. I have since submitted a formal damage claim with the company and filed a complaint with the California Bureau of Household Goods and Services (BHGS). I hope we can come to a fair resolution. I also want to make it clear that I am not looking for any of the individual movers who helped us to face unnecessary consequences. They were friendly and otherwise did a great job with our move. I simply want the situation handled fairly and to be compensated for my damaged TV. I understand that accidents can happen during a move and that sometimes things get damaged. If the damage had been caused by something I did, I would absolutely take responsibility for it. I'm only asking that the same accountability be shown here and that we can come to a fair resolution.

I yelped to find any movers nearby and found you guys! I thought everyone would be booked since it was so last minute but they picked up the phone and scheduled me in! 3 guys for $176 an hour seemed a lot but they worked hard and pretty fast so it was WORTH every penny! I helped a little (or... hopefully wasn't in their way) but we emptied my 10 x 12 storage unit in just under 2 hrs and then met them at my new place and even with stairs, they hustled and worked hard! Whew! Their teamwork was great! They took everything up 2 flights of wooden stairways (sorry guys!) and didn't stop. They had a timer on so they were honest and trustworthy!
