    Moved across country and had all my stuff WATER DAMAGED and was given no reason and the run around about where my stuff was. BEWARE OF INSURANCE TERMS DO NOT AGREE TO LESS THEN YOUR STUFF IS WORTH, I would go into more detail but I've wasted enough time and feelings in trying to deal with this company. Please don't use if you want your stuff respected.

    We had to relocate from LA to SJ with little prep time. I contacted a few companies and unlike other movers, OOB assured me of the firm price which included wrapping furniture with no extra cost. After reviewing several estimates, OOB was a competitive price but like I said, it included wrapped furniture with no extra cost. A few things to be aware of: 1). Make sure your estimate includes every box, every furniture item, and every picture, fan, rug, etc. The cost does rise if they're not included in the original estimate. I was off by about 10 boxes and forgot a few items, so my estimate did go up by not because they did something wrong. And it would have been so with any other company. A). There is a disconnect from the sales office to the storage facility. Though my estimate did change from the original estimate, I had an itemized list. The pick up movers, had an exact list that I had and loaded. Then when I got a delivery call, the caller said we owed much more money than what was on my contract. They tried to add more items, then she said, I had electronically approved an estimate at 330pm (hours after the guys had left w/my belongings) saying I approved more items on the truck. They counted 10 extra items, added it my estimate and forged my signature. An example, my list said- Radio Flyer (which is a tricycle), they said, I did not have a tricycle on my list therefore I added it, they accounted for it. They didn't know Radio Flyer was the bike. So it was a lie. I contacted Danny and he did resolve the confusion about my estimate and eventually; everyone was on the same page about the balance owed. 2). Make sure you account for stairs, there is an extra cost. Luckily this was not an issue for me and also, how far away your delivery will be away from the where the truck parks. These are things to be aware of. I again didn't have an issue with this, our place had a freight elevator which was close to the truck. The guys who picked up were young but professional. They came to work and that's what they did. They kept a precise list, which accounted for every item on my estimate, on their packing list, and on my inventory list. I suggest if moving a distance (where your furniture will arrive days after you do, make an inventory list of furniture, loose items, and number your boxes (keep notes of what is in them). This helped my husband who received the delivery when I was not home. Daniel Cohen was my point of contact and he made sure everything was good by checking up on me during the process. The storage is in a different location than his office. Like I said above Danny took care of the confusion and clarified with the other location and apologized. Honest and integrity! However I never got an explanation about the "faked" authorized signature at 330 from anyone. Victor and Tariq were my pick up guys. They've got a tough job but did a great job and had a great attitude. Not sure who delivered, I wasn't there. Here is where the real disappointment comes. 1). When they deliver, you pay up front before any items are taken off the truck. This is so when you see any damage; they've been paid- you have to file a claim. 2). My husband didn't unpack or unwrap anything. He had his bed and that was enough. I went up a week later and began to unpack.. Well let me say, I can't recommend this company for what happened between my house, their storage, and my new home. I think I know what happened. Danny told me, my furniture was in one truck on its way to SJ. They experienced mechanical problems. Drove back to the warehouse, unloaded my stuff and put it onto another truck. This irritated the drivers/loaders. Already a long day, with a long drive ahead of them. So they threw my stuff around without care. Clearly!!! Besides they arrived to SJ at 6pm. I just got back and my first priority was to update my recommendation to a "non" recommendation. List of damaged items: 1). 42" TV, the screen was clearly punctured with something. It doesn't work at all. 2). A leg to an antique table is damaged, the mounted screw which connects it is bent beyond repair. 3). A white china cabinet, the back was pushed up against something because though it didn't break all the way through, it cracked it. I know because I had just restored this item, fresh paint and now the broken wood crack is obvious against the white paint. 4). A side table, cracked and the top is loose now. 5). Boxes not only labeled fragile, I had bright red tape across every fragile box and wrote on the tape, fragile: My grandmothers lead crystal wine glass broken My grandmothers lead crystal dinner glass broken My grandmothers christmas china (2 coffee cups) broken A devil egg platter broken Antique marble book ends chipped, the box was dropped because it was broken and smashed in the corner. Tomorrow I will call and file a claim. We will see if they honor it.

    Jesse and his 2 guys did a fabulous job. They came in and went work right away. They were very professional. They bubble wrapped each piece of furniture & wall pictures. They removed all the materials as promised. Because my couch couldn't fit in the elevator they used the stair well. I am very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to family & friends.

The team worked fast, carefully wrapping our TVs and furniture, and even transported our plants unharmed! The biggest concern was getting our L-shaped couch up into the new condo which has extremely narrow stairways. They were hyper efficient and it's clear they care. Our move was not easy... We moved out of an apartment (2 bedrooms, 1 study, 2 bathrooms) on the 3rd floor into a 3 story condo (3 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms all on the 2nd or 3rd floor (meaning 2 flights of stairs). From the apartment, they carefully took the bed frames and other furniture apart, and then wrapped all the furniture with blankets and plastic wrap. Once they loaded everything into the moving truck and arrived at the new place, which they did super fast considering there was only 1 elevator to work with and they were super fast at unloading into the new place. Once at the new place, they took everything up the stairs and reassembled all the furniture with the same care and concern. I was amazed at how quickly, but also how carefully they handled the entire move. They apologized (even though they absolutely did not need to) that they needed to take an extremely quick lunch break (maybe 20 minutes, but an hour would've been well deserved). Although I don't plan to move for awhile, I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone else who may move in the future. Proper movers is THE best!

    Yelp Projects: I started with a Yelp project that allowed me to enter the Project details included…read morewith my move. It then sends out a blast ( I assume) to Yelp Guaranteed businsses. Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. Then Abby, the manager of schedule talked as if I was wrong and was unapologetic then just started complaining WHY CANT WE JUST TAKE THIS DATE SINCE MOVERS THERE ALREADY. I told her cuase were busy today and she just handled the entire situation as if we were to blame and never apologized. On top of that , their work order of WHERE to move my things was the WRONG ADDRESS!!! They dont really care about details and when they make mistakes, they act like your wrong and are rude about it. I understand miscommunications happens all the time, but even after showing her the clear emails which she confirmed herself in writing, she had no apologies. I have zero confidence in this mover company and cancelled the enitre order and will be hiring real pros. I have no idea how they got so many high yelp reviews. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
