I think I talked to Sherri on the phone. She was nice and polite. She confirmed that I could drop off my golf clubs there for FedEx pickup. I drop over there and dropped off my clubs without any issues. I was worried that they didn't pick up my clubs yet since I didn't get any notifications for pickup delivery but my clubs were picked up and shipped to me in the mainland before I landed.

Abel took the time to listen and creatively build a custom solution from materials he had on hand, even though they didn't carry exactly what I needed. When I offered to pay, he kindly declined, saying it was simply extra material he keeps for situations like this. I returned again for additional pieces, and he once more went above and beyond to make sure everything was secure. I later learned Abel is the owner, which made his generosity and hands-on approach even more impressive. I get my mail at a PO Box quite often if I don't go in to pick up a package I will still just pop my head in and say hello to them. As a teacher, I often shop with a Purchase Order. Even though they are almost always large purchases (all the class supplies for a school year) and take extra time because of the paperwork involved, the cashiers are always friendly and more than happy to help when I tell them I have a purchase order. The floor staff is fairly knowledgeable about what they carry and if they aren't sure, they will ask someone who does. The store manager, Michael Mochizuki, is a kind and generous man who has helped our school in so many different ways. I have also been assisted by Michael when shopping many times. He is not the type of manager to sit in his office while his employees do all the work. He's right there in the trenches with them. The regular pricing can be a little spendy (welcome to Hawaii) but Office Max has good sales! Especially for back to school. With our ever shrinking budgets for our classrooms, this is greatly appreciated. Overall, this is a great place to shop. If you are on Maui and in need of some office supplies, this is your store!

The shipping process is very efficient and the workers at the shipping site are friendly. You do need to call ahead to book a shipping appointment, but from there on, it's an easy process to drop off your vehicle and pick it up at the destination point. Shipping is quick and I got a call from Young Brothers the next morning after each shipping, letting me know my car was ready for pickup. When we went to pick up my car in Kahului, the battery was dead (the parking lights got left on inadvertently), and they immediately sent someone over to give us a jump start. After you ship your car, if you care about your paint job, I do recommend you get a good car wash asap to rinse off the salt (I have a review of the place we liked in Kahului). If you have a reason to ship your vehicle interisland, if you do your legwork in advance (check the website, make a call), you're going to have a smooth and easy experience with Young Brothers.
