Went in in Novmeber to ship a package to TX. Felt "akward" about leaving it there for some reason. Should have trusted my gut and not have done so. Went back in to check on it and tried to speak to the employee that accepted the package and without kowing what the conversation was, the "manager' stepped in and said, not to worry about anything...... Three months later, we are still fighitng with UPS to get the item refunded and the store just "shook theier heads" and was not help with a claim etc. Use the one on State of Franklin instead! read more

I have had our mailbox here for 7 years. Today the latest manager in charge terminated my box. Why? Because they sent yet another package that I had delivered here back to the shipper instead of logging it in. This is not the first time they have done that. Last week, they swore a package was not delivered to them, argued it wasn't delivered to them. So I went to the USPS and got geo tracking imaging of it being delivered to this ups store. They eventually "found it" in the returns pile, set to be returned to the shipper, claiming new hire mistakes. I go out of town a lot for business so when another package got delivered when we were out of town, I had to wait till yesterday to retrieve it. It had been returned to sender just like they were going to do to the last package. Instead of taking accountability for their errors they terminated my box instead. We were not loud, we were not yelling, yet they threatened to call the police today because I was trying to talk with them about them terminating my box after we paid for the year. We have been at this location for 7 yrs, now, all of a sudden we are bad?! No, they keep losing our packages, they don't take accountability for their mistakes, and they threaten to terminate your box if you have anything to say about their mistakes. I recorded our interaction today. Brittney the current store manager has been the worst store manager that has been there in the 7years we have had our box. For the first 5 years with Austin as a manager we NEVER had the problems we have had currently with this location. The last year especially has been filled with mistakes on their part and they refuse to take any accountability for it! read more

This location on Brown Mills Road, Johnson City, TN has become very messy and disorganized. I have been to this location in the afternoon when 2 guys have been working, the entire area where the packages are put looks untidy. The guys are okay. But when I visited this location about a week ago there was one woman sitting down behind the counter with a mad look on her face as she was taking care of a customer. I had the unpleasant Store Manager Brittany. Their greeting as I walked in was not a welcoming one then when Brittany came to take care of the Amazon return I had she was very rude. This location either needs Corporate to come down and get these people straightened out or close the location. read more

Very unprofessional they're also running a scam on people where they're charging you to ship back Amazon returns, which are free. Don't let them pull this trick on you and don't ever let them take your phone and try to do return because they will trick you! I contacted Amazon and also the headquarters for the UPS stores to inform them that these people are doing. They're basically stealing my you and the little smart ass girl in there, said that she knows everything well you don't fool! read more

Horrible location, the staff is always rude. Was there today when an elderly woman tried to drop off a package that was delivered to her house that wasn't meant for her. The package was large and a struggle for her, she also stated it looked to be medical equipment. Staff said they won't take it, and if she left it they would just throw it away. I spoke up and said the truck that picks up at end of day can't take it back to the hub? So the staff started in on me the same way they had the elderly woman. The male worker said, not his job, doesn't get paid enough...and so on. What a horrible location and staff, I'll never set foot in this location again. UPS should reconsider its affiliation with this location! read more

This is the most horrible UPS Store in our area. The clerk, especially Brittany, If that is really her name, (she didn't have a name tag on and hesitated when i asked her name) is the most rude, unprofessional person I have encountered in a LONG time. She told us to shut up, and threw our packages to the side not even checking them in. This store needs a complete staff overhaul. Don't waste your time, go somewhere else. read more

I have used this store for both business and personal use for over a year. Used many services, have a box there, used notary services, lamination, tracking lost packages (it happens and it was found and delivered), etc. The personnel there go the extra mile to helpful. It is a busy store and they always have plenty of staff and good people are hired. Go there almost every business day. read more

BEWARE USAA CLIENTS! This location does NOT allow for easy deposits despite their agreement with USAA to do so. I was given a curt and rude run around by the UPS reps in the store. They also lied to the USAA rep, who called the store on my behalf to see why they refused to take my deposit. An official complaint has been filed by USAA with UPS on my behalf and hopefully this branch will get their heads out of their butts post haste. Unfortunately, the only other UPS store that is capable of taking my deposit is an hour out of the way which officially has ruined my travel holiday in the area. I cannot speak to the UPS postal services. read more

Know it all clerk insisted that I had to pay a $4.00 fee for repackaging each of two packages which were FREE Amazon prime returns. I refused and returned them at no cost as it should be, at the State of Franklin location. Staff needs better education. read more

This is the best Ups store location. I never have to wait more than 2 minutes and I'm there almost every day. The staff ( Alex and Zanna) are very friendly and helpful. Plus now they can accept USPS packages which makes for one less errand. read more

This UPS Store discriminates against customers' privacy. Worst customer service of any UPS Store or UPS Facility I've encountered!! There were 3 unfriendly young clerks (2 young females with long dark hair, and 1 young male with light brown hair & beard) working, and they didn't care one iota about customer service!!!! They must be inexperienced with customer service! Their attempt to violate my privacy information was insulting!!! While they claim their policy is to have a telephone number in order to ship a package, I advised them that I do not retain any available tel number anymore. That's their problem, not the customer's problem, if they don't have an exclusionary option for customer's without a tel number. NOTE TO UPS STORE at 3101 Browns Mill Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604: There is NO LAW requiring every citizen to possess a telephone!!! Even the USPS doesn't ask for any tel number when mailing out priority mail packages! Well congrats to the owners of UPS STORE at 3101 Browns Mill Rd, Johnson City, TN 37604 - you've lost my business, and please be ensured that'll I'll happily regale my dissatisfaction with every person and business I know. Contacted their District Mgr, Missy Brown, and advised of the issue... no resolution to provide service to customer's who do not provide any available tel number... she just gave the ol' scripted 'company policy' excuse. read more
