San Jose UPS bad. New franchise owners with barely any English and nickel and dime for anything even a copy of 1 sheet notarized. They use Walmart envelope for professional shipping if you can wrap yourself around that. Very rude. I doubt my husband would be treated like that. Go to fed ex it's well run and cheaper. I recommend going to this location over the one on Old St. Augustine Rd because I have had a poor customer service experience there. The is the worse delivery service. I paid for expedited delivery and my package still didnt come as scheduled. They claim to have the wrong address for some odd reason. Whem I tried to update my address through the website it would not let me. Instead it gave the option to send it back to the sender. Why in the hell would I send it back to the sender if I paid for an expediated delivery. When I called the local branch to speak to a person the dumbass line redirected me to the 800 number that has a more than 30 minute wait. What the hell is the point of having a local number if you have to deal with bullshit ass automated voice services that does not understand basically English Commands. They full of it and a waste of time. My package was sent out on the 27th and it is now the 30th. I was should have arrived between 12:45 and 4:45 pm. read more

I've had to come to this UPS Store location twice; both times on a Sunday when the other stores are closed. It's nice that they are open on Sundays since I have a busy week and it's hard for me to get away from the computer during the upcoming week. I walk in to drop off four packages and right away get kicked out for no reason. He proceeded to threaten me and said if you have a problem with it I'll meet you at your house. I'm not one to write bad reviews in fact I've never wrote in one before but after that experience I felt like I had to. After that experience I decided to call them and ask what his name was but right when I asked they hung up. So I walked into the store to ask for his name he said his name was Tony and he was the store owner/manager. He then threaten to call the police on me when we got into an argument and he was completely in the wrong. Everything that happened was totally uncalled for. And for Tony i'm sorry you work at a UPS store I would be upset with my life to. But I do hope everything goes well with you no hard feelings just disappointed and the way I was treated. read more

I had a box of 2 items that I needed to ship so I took it to FedEx to see how much they would charge to take my two objects, wrap them, put them in a box and ship it; it would have been $82! I don't know but that seemed high! So I took my 2 objects in the box I had and took them to this off site post office in Mandarin in the shop called Health Food, near Bonefish restaurant! The clerk was super friendly, had bubble wrap that they received from their own shipping and have it for free to use if you need it! The cost to ship my box was $15.75...helloooo; a no brained! I've been a mailbox holder since 2008. Bonnie and her crew do a fantastic job for my company. Always smiling, always helpful, they work hard and give impeccable service. It's important to remember that there are times when circumstances are out of their control - such as the US Postal Service not scanning in a parcel or how long the line might be at a random moment - they work diligently to process transactions. his place needs some customer service training. Was returning a package to Amazon today, there were 3-4 people in front of me and a lady was returning a very large Amazon item. the female associate told the lady to set the box to the left out of the way as it was very large. A Male employee about 50, tall, dark hair came in and the package was where the female associate told the customer to put it. He kicks the package and blurts out what h€*l is this $&@t. The customer spoke up and said that my Amazon package I'm returning. She explained she need to print a label but was having a hard time with her printer so she ask the employee for the WiFi password. His reply was I don't remember that S&it and ask the female employee what is was and she gave the customer the password. The whole experience was awful employees looked frustrated and just not happy to be there.. Trust me I won't be back this place is a dumpster fire I recommend you proceed with caution some employee may go postal on the wrong day read more

This location of the UPS Store is an integral part of company! I find myself here 2 to 3 times a day. The staff is always professional and courteous and the owner is truly fabulous. I see them as a partner and rely on them heavily. I utilize their box services as well as their mailing capabilities with not just UPS but the USPS as well. As a box holder I was able to set up a house account which allows me to "drop and go" my outgoing packages. Additionally they help keep the mountains of confidential of documents we deal with safe with their shredding services. Tie that together with the AAA, AARP and other discounts and its a big win win for every customer. Keep it up guys - you're terrific! read more

I've been using this store pretty frequently to ship Etsy orders. Very unfortunately, I've now had issues with three shipments. The first shipment wasn't charged to me properly for postage, so when it got to my customer, they were asked to pay for more shipping fees, so I mailed her a second shipment free of charge, losing profit. The second was shipped May 19th, and was never even scanned into the USPS system, which the manager/owner claimed is a USPS fault, so I'm running that down. This morning, I had a third customer tell me the package shows delivered but has never arrived. All of these were USPS First Class, and extremely late or never arrived. I've never had this issue with the post office or my UPS Store in Riverside, and it's extremely upsetting that my customer base is suffering for this. They're really kind people working in the office, but this is unacceptable in terms of expectations. To carry on, I attempted to type in the tracking numbers that were provided to the USPS site, and all say status not available. I shipped 9 packages that day, totaling $14.98 cents, and to my own error, I should've paid attention to the clerk who was clearly overwhelmed and getting more nervous as more customers entered, as normally each package runs me about $4-$5. The contents of 8 packages were $10 each, and the contents of another were $35. So now, I'll be resending all of them to clear my professional name, definitely at a different location, at an entire loss to me. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I agree with the last reviewer from a year ago - it is always a disappointment when I go to this store. Seems like no one is in charge, everyone is new, or it seems like that because the simplest tasks take forever to be completed and they don't seem sure of what they are doing. Don't get me wrong - they are super pleasant but being nice clearly does not get the job done. I try to be patient because I like to think this is a small business owner doing the best he (or she) can do and I want to support my local small business owners. But today I reached my limit. On Monday I paid to have an important document mailed to my son that he needed for his job and needed to get it before Friday. I was assured by the UPS store rep it would be picked up that evening by UPS because I got there before the evening pick up and good news it would be in my son's hands by end of day the next day, Tuesday. Well no package received on Tuesday so on Wednesday I check the status on the UPS web site - this indicates a label was created but the package was not received by UPS. Long story short- two calls with UPS customer service, two calls with the store, and a call I had to arrange with the UPS customer service rep and a rep at the store on the same call to stop the insanity, the store was told they needed to file a claim. After the customer service rep dropped from the call the store rep said I need to go on line and file the claim. Guess what - I can't do that because I am not the shipper (that would be the store) and I can't file as the recipient because the package has not been received by UPS. I will call the store again today - wish me luck. I don't expect much and clearly my son is not going to have his document for work on Friday. Big deal for him but clearly doesn't give the store rep or owner a second thought about the massive failure in service. read more
