Awful customer service at UPS store #0232 in Greer, SC…read more I shipped a birthday present to my nephew's daughter on Friday January 24th from this UPS store with a scheduled delivery by Saturday February 1st. My first red flag should have been why does it take eight days for a two pound package to get delivered to a city two hours away. I tracked the package online and it finally arrived to the post office in Fort Mill, SC at 5:56am on February 1st. So I assumed my present would be delivered that day or worst case by Monday. Package was not delivered on Saturday or Monday. I went to the UPS store on Tuesday February 4th where I shipped the package to get them to help me determine when my package would actually get delivered. They rudely told me that I would have to contact the post office since it's not their responsibility once it leaves their store. I told them that I shipped the package through them and not the post office and needed their help on my issue. Make a long story short they didn't try to help me. Bottom line if you need to ship a package do it from the post office since that is who you will need to deal with if your package doesn't arrive. I'm still scratching my head on what service this store really provides

Their "oopsies" have been stacking up lately, so I've decided to relieve them of the heavy burden of handling our packages. The grand finale? Creative math. They somehow managed to intentionally inflate our package dimensions after the fact--resulting in a nice little surprise upcharge weeks later. Facts (since accuracy matters): ACTUAL exterior box size: 11.5" x 11.5" x 11.5" What they entered: 12" (correct) x 13" (WRONG!) x 12" (correct) That magical extra 13 inches--pulled seemingly from thin air--is what triggered the additional charge of $9.14. Funny how that works. Even funnier? This exact same stunt has now happened three times at this location. At that point it's no longer a mistake--it's a business model.
