I've been here a bunch of times and never wrote a review. I live in the area and the store is convenient. The past few times I've been there Kim I think her name is has been extremely rude. Like unnecessarily so. I get up to her today, and she automatically has an attitude. I've just let it go before, but today she got under my skin. I have no other issues coming to this location except for dealing with her. She needs a class on the proper way to interact with customers. read more

We are in the age of Amazon returns. This store probably makes money off of each Amazon return they handle. I was just in there at Mounts corner with a pre-labeled Amazon return. Probably the easiest service they provide to anyone, one little sealed bag with shipping label attached. I was next on line and the older woman counterperson with the dyed streaks in her hair looks at me patiently waiting to be served and she tells me I should step behind a line. I said there is no line, she says oh "behind the sign". I asked her "why" and with the meanest look in her eyes she said "Because it's our POLICY". It was my turn to be served and she was standing there shaking a bag as if it were more important than being polite. Well, she obviously doesn't like her job. I recommend that company replace her with a more polite people person. I'll be at that store again and I hope she's not. She never did offer to assist me but seemed to want me to confront her but I quietly placed my package on the counter and left the store without a receipt. Truly a convenient partnership with Amazon from the end user/customer perspective. Amazon returns don't need to be repacked and labeled; just bring in the item and they scan the QRC code approving the return and you are done. UPS Store packs and ships on your behalf. Can't beat that level of convenience. read more

The customer service here is off the charts! They will gladly help tape up, label, and complete everything needed to get your package to its destination! They don't expect you to have everything buttoned up on your own like other shippers. In fact they will package up whatever it is you wish to ship for you and with pleasure! It's a small store but it has absolutely everything you need to ship anything! There's rarely a line, maybe I've waited behind one person a few times over the years. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Please do not go to this store. Not only are they incompetent, they have horrible customer service (as many of the other reviews discuss). I went to this UPS Store for their pack and mail service, where they box up my items and ship them. Sadly, they packed many of my things in someone else's box, so I never received my things. This included many sentimental items like my high school yearbook and VHS tapes of family videos that I planned to digitize. When notified of the mistake, the staff there didn't seem to care much. I spoke one time to the manager, Rita, who yelled at me because of how much work this created for her team to try to track down my belongings ("there were 157 packages that went out that day. Do you know how many phone calls I need to make?"). I left repeated messages and emails, but neither Rita nor the owner (I don't know his name because he never returned my calls or got on the phone when I called) ever called me back. Never received an apology. Only one employee was the slightest bit empathetic and tried to help. To the owner: please do not respond to this post that I should contact the store like you have in other similar posts. You clearly do not care about your customers, only respond to negative reviews on sites like this, but never take any real action. read more

This store has a horrible employee, Tina. I would have given no stars but you are required to pick at least one. She is absolutely awful and so nasty to customers! She is not helpful, unpleasant and combative! My son experienced her nastiness first hand after she was equally nasty to my husband a few days before. Not accommodating, helpful or pleasant whatsoever! Complete strangers told my son while he was using the self serve kiosk that they will drive out of their way when time allows because Tina is so awful. I would think that this franchise's owner would want to know that customers are willing to go out of their way when time allows to avoid Tina. The staff at this store are miserable, rude and outright mean human beings! I left in tears after being scolded and condescended for accidentally showing the wrong digital return code on my phone, an easy and quick fix (aka I swiped to my next picture, and provided the correct return code within seconds). The young boy working behind the counter lacks customer service skills. I asked to borrow tape to tape my label which was given to me by Amazon, to the box. He charged me $1.00 to tape the box for me??? A dollar to tape the box?? His reasoning was since the Jackson store closed they do a lot more Amazon returns?? Wouldn't that give you more revenue? Amazon told me I didn't need to print a label just got to the UPS store with items in a bag and show them the barcode on the phone. I did this and was told I needed to print a label from the computer & buy a box. Ok no problem, maybe it was a miscommunication so I did that and was charged $6. Still no big deal. I tried to track package and there is no info, almost as if the package didn't exist. I had a different amazon return that says bring to UPS store you don't need a box or printer. I was told I needed to go to kohl's. Went to kohl's and they said no you have to go to UPS. Went to a different UPS store in manalapan & was in and out in under a minute and go an email from amazon right away that they issued me my refund. Shout of to the manalapan UPS store, I will go out of my way next time to go there. read more

The woman who works in this store is very rude and really unpleasant. No makers at all. We ask her to print label from our own account and hit some issues with computer and printer, he did not even try to help. After we figure out issue we print labels and she just refused to give us a tape, saying everything must be paid. We shipping all the time and once we had this small issue she refused to help. The most unfriendly people ever. Total lack of interest in the customer. It seems like they could care less if you brought your packages in there or not. I went there one day in the morning, I was there slightly before the store was due to open and time ticked by, finally the store manager showed, 20 minutes after posted opening hours and there was no sorry, I ran late or nothing, just took his time opening up, that ended up opening 30 minutes after posted opening time. How can a business survive with no regard for customers. I guess amazon returns are keeping them afloat. I take no packages there any longer, I go to the post office, at least they are helpful. read more

This place is so much better than the old Mail Boxes Etc. that it used to be! The staff used to be unfriendly and unhelpful, but the last couple of times I was in there, they had new people behind the counter and it's like a whole new store! Still overpriced, but you're paying for convenience. And they kept the best part of the old Mail Boxes Etc. - the Lego table filled with Legos and toys for your kids to play with while you make your copies! Every store, bank, post office, laundromat, etc. should have a Lego Table to keep kids busy! read more

This UPS store is in a great location for me as it's only five minutes from my house. I typically sell on a site that I preprint labels from so I've never had to deal with that aspect of the store in person. The employees are always nice and I've gone in with my son and they chat him up and get him to smile. Always a very pleasant place and they get my items out in good time. If you're shipping with UPS this place is right off route 9 and has always been friendly. read more

Bought 2 packages to go to 2 different locations and also received 2 different tracking numbers. Recipient did not receive package and tracking said that it was awaiting UPS pickup. Turns out products were all in 1 package sent to 1 location. A birthday card that was supposed to be in the second box was opened and taped to the outside top of the box. I had a laptop delivered to this UPS store location (Freehold) because I was traveling. UPS notified me the laptop was delivered to this store, so upon my return home, I called the store, and they insisted rudely and vehemently that my order was never delivered to the store, despite the UPS tracking confirmation. I called UPS, who investigated for a while and told me they finally found the laptop in the store, which leads me to suspect the store employees hid the laptop, hoping to keep it for themselves. Avoid shipping anything of value to this location. read more
