Several employees on printing area had no cluse where to find a calculator and refused my wife's request for one of them to show where it was located. They were too busy chatting. Staples sold me a used chair! Beware! I bought and paid for a new chair from Staples ($250!), and what I received was an opened box, re-taped back up (and badly I might add) with used chair pieces inside. When I opened the crudely re-taped box, inside was the chair pieces to put together, re-packaged in plastic with different tapes as if the plastic has been ripped open, and then re-taped with whatever they had lying around. Some of the chair pieces inside had scuff marks and/or debris on the fabric as if they had been used, sent back, then repackaged back up, thrown in an already opened box and re-taped back up (badly). I had paid for a brand new chair at a brand new chair price, and what I got was somebody else's return.....that had been opened and used. From an Etsy or small home based business, I might expect that, NOT FROM A HUGE CHAIN STORE LIKE STAPLES. Unacceptable. If I could give them no stars I would! read more

This review is 100% just for Jess at freehold location. She is super helpful and smart. I orginally went to the staples in manalapan. They were rude and definitely not helpful. They were lazy and told me things couldn't be done that I've had done before. Jess went above and beyond to try accommodate my needs and understood everything I wanted. You can count on Staples for all of your office needs, they carry everything with the largest selection of office products. I'm glad to have this Staples in my neighborhood. Not sure if this is a problem with all Staples locations, but this store has some issues. I went there on a busy back to school night and the store was crowded and I could only find one employee working on the floor. Fortunately for me he was able to help me right away and did a great job seeing my purchase all the way through to the end. Anyone after me who needed help, well they were out of luck. Also I'm not a fan of the layout of the store. It seems to be rather disorganized and messy to be honest. The office furniture section is sort of thrown together. I think they could use a larger building. I was impressed however with the employees. When a long line formed at the end of the night they had four registers open and moved everyone quickly out the door. If you need office products you really can't beat Staples. But if you need help you may need to wait. read more

We had already bought a chair at the Princeton Staples, but went to this Freehold Staples to buy a desk. Vlad was EXTREMELY helpful in finding the desk, telling us about a way to save 25% (over $75) on the desk by buying a combo with the chair, then telling us about coupons to get an additional $15 off. In addition, he helped load the desk into our car so there wouldn't be any damage to the desk or car. Really good guy - highly recommend working with him at this store. read more

as a customer coming is to get something laminated, with no one waiting, i was told there would be 25% mark up to have it done while i am standing there, like a regular normal customer ... or come back in 4 hours to get the same service done at a reduced price. is staples in business to not wait on customers now ... and will charge them more. act like every other customer service store and wait on service your customers rather than hike up your orices! read more

This is the worse staples when it comes to price matching!!! I found the same exact product on line on Walmart and showed the rep he says it can't be a third party seller...he says open amazon if the have it cheaper their then we can use it I find several he says ummmm no can't use these either!!! They are the only place that sells them at $60 everywhere else it's $40...he just didn't want to go the extra step for me.......this is the third negative experience I have with that specific staples!! The worst printing center!!! I wish I could give zero stars. My orders are always messed up, leaving me to look elsewhere for printing copy business's. I have never been refunded either. Management is useless and the employers don't know what they're doing except one man at the print center; the problem is he is the only knowledgeable one there- the other employers NEED HIS HELP so how can he possibly carry out my order if he is assisting his coworkers? He stayed late to help me with a project that failed two days in a row and then started helping other people and didn't give me 100% deserved attention. My deadline was missed by 24 hours because of staples- I should have been the focus. No more freehold staples. Honestly the worst printing center in Monmouth county. read more

Not the most organized store you will ever see, and for some reason, they seem to keep shuffling everything around to different areas every time I go here. Getting help in here is the equivalent of finding gold on rt 9 !!! They have a shoppers club from which I've yet to see a benefit for being a member. In all the years I've been a member, I haven't gotten so much as a coupon!!!! Here is a tip you will value..........AVOID THIS PLACE DURING BACK TO SCHOOL DAYS!!!! Worst Staples experience I've ever had. I'm talking specifically at the Copy & Print Center. There was a young girl in training who was very helpful in address my simply copy needs. I was throwing a bridal shower and needed color copies made as well as a print out of images I emailed to Staples. HOWEVER, the person the young girl reported to was wretched and rude. When I told her I'm not sure why the attachements didn't pull up on her screen she snapped, "You don't believe me?! Well if you think I'm lying come to this screen and look at it yourself! It's not here!" I was shocked that a store whose motto is about customer service would have someone with such an attitude work at their store. I went to the Old Bridge location and the guy working the printing station had the job done in less than 10 mins, no fuss. He too was surprised by the nasty Freehold worker's attitude. Bottom line: Take your copy and print needs elsewhere! DO NOT EVEN BOTHER WITH FREEHOLD. read more

The printing center is so nice! I struggle pretty much all the time with everything and they sat with me, second by second helping me print something out from my Macbook. Seems easy enough for most but for me it was a life saver AND SO NICE! read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. This Staples constantly and consistently understaffs their copy/print department. It is wildly unfair to the customer and the employee. There should not be a line at 8 pm on a Friday night. There are no less than four additional people standing and waiting to be helped. read more

I contacted the Staples corporate headquarters about the super rude treatment by the two woman staff members in the copy center. My complaint was taken seriously and swift action was meted out.
