This experience was a lot better than the previous visit or for their location on Camp Bowie. A few years ago, the location on Camp Bowie charged me $20 to notarize a document. The location on South Hulen only charged $10. I'm not sure what was the difference. Anyway, I had a great visit on today's trip. It pains my heart to write an unkind word about this UPS store. I've been coming here for years...and have been recommending this specific location to my clients and students for so long. I've always told Dante and the other sweet staff how easy they make my life. Please know...I'm only writing a review about THIS experience - and only after no response to two requests to discuss directly via phone and email. I went into this store recently on a Thursday about 5:30 pm. I went in to do a return using a code sent by the company I ordered from. When I walked in, there were two people behind the counter, a young woman and then a young man named Will. I noticed as I was handing him the box that there were two labels with my address on them. One would be covered by the new return label but I wanted to remove the smaller yellow sticker that had my name and address on it. We had a traumatic incident when I was younger that came about from someone retrieving our address from a trash container and I'm always super careful to remove my name and address from things now. Will said he was going to cover the larger label with the return one. I showed him the smaller yellow one and asked if he had some scissors to remove that one with. He said they did not have scissors in the store, which I thought was strange - it's a shipping store. Please know - there was no one behind me in line. I wasn't holding anyone up. I checked the smaller label hoping I was wrong. I had a brain tumor removed recently that affected eyesight in one eye so I wasn't 100% sure my address was showing. But it was. I had no idea there was a problem until there was. It escalated SO quickly. I'm still not sure what in the world happened. If there is store video, I'd invite everyone there to view it. Because maybe I asked the wrong way (Which isn't like me...I'm a chubby people pleaser who goes out of her way to come to this store and also hates confrontation. But please check the tape if there is one.) I asked if he had a pen so I could get it off that way. He said - and I'm not kidding - "Yes, but I'm not going to let you break it to get that label off." In my business, I remove about 30 price labels a day. My employees carry plastic scrapers so we can surgically lift one corner and then carefully peel back the label. At NO point was I going to break off a pen doing it. I do watch a lot of Dateline but I'm in no way a violent label remover. My keys were in the car with my mom. When I asked if I could go out and get them, he told me he'd have to cancel the transaction if I did. My car was 12 steps from where we were standing. I looked down and he had maybe 18 disposable pens. I told him I'd pay him $10 if he'd just let me use that pen (pointing to one.) And again - I'm not joking - he YANKED the pen holder up OVER his head and said "YOU'RE NOT USING ONE OF MY PENS!!!" At this point, I blacked out. He asked me if I just wanted to cancel the transaction. He started to RIP UP my tracking slip. It's literally almost ripped in half sitting on my desk now. I think someone came over to see what was going on. I truly can't remember. I asked the woman standing next to him if she could have Dante call me. In her kindest and most helpful voice, she told me he was out for the day but suggested I email him. And I did that but no response. At NO time did Will offer to remove the label himself. That could have been SO easy for him. Why would anyone go so out of their way to not want to help take care of something that could have been taken care of in SECONDS? Believe me, I'd be the first to tell you if I was in the wrong. I've played this over and over in my head trying to figure out what happened. This seemed so unnecessarily aggressive and physical - the pens in that cup almost went over the back of his head. And to start ripping up my tracking info? Because I wanted to remove one label off my package? He literally held out his arms in front of him and started to rip it in two. I don't even know what to say. I would give this store 5 stars for every other transaction I've had with them. But this experience left me shaking for about 20 minutes. read more

This is my go to neighborhood taking care of business like returns and making copies or getting things notarized. Staff is friendly and helpful. They are efficient with the process. I good option for your to do list. read more

Horrendous. Viscious. I wanted to print out from my thumb drive one document. Normally this takes about a minute. Put thumb drive in printer, print. Not at this place. A mean female employee screamed across the room to remove my thumb drive from the printer. Then an employee came from the back and told me I had to pay for computer time to print a document. He said the printer doesn't print from thumb drives. I told him yes it does and stuck my thumb drive back in. Why is he lying? Why was the female demanding a customer tell her what's in the package she's mailing like she's a terrorist? It's really none of her business beyond knowing if it's batteries, liquid or perishable. The atmosphere was like a prison with deranged guards. Gougers, liars. I'll never set foot in there again. The CEO made $23m in 2023. Gouging the many pays off big for the few. read more

If you want your bad day to be even worse you should make a pit stop by this UPS. The short guy with glasses will definitely ruin your day. If you're lucky he might even say he hates his job. I've had the privilege of interacting with him twice and both times he earns an A+ in disrespect. At least he doesn't sugar coat his attitude...you know as soon as you walk in the door and walk up to the counter you're an annoyance...forget being a customer, that's overrated! He could at least greet you with "welcome to UPS where U are treated like a PoS ". I wish I could say he is at least helpful, but an automated machine might be more helpful than he is. I would spare your time and sanity and go to a different UPS store unless you're looking for an experience like this. read more

Tried to mail at UPS because I was already there for an Amazon return. It would have been $20.75, delivered later, and served with attitude. I knew FedEx offered the If it fits it ships service. My same package shipped for $12.75, went in extra protected packaging for free, the employee was pleasant, and the inside of the store was clean and updated. Whenever I need to ship a package to family, friends, or for my mom, this UPS store comes through for me. I love how convenient and easy it is to ship things. If I am completely unprepared and need an envelope to ship items in, I can grab one and they will charge me for it plus shipping. No big deal. If I need to ship my items in a box, they will provide one and I can pay for that plus shipping. The employees are always friendly and they keep the line moving. Hours can be tricky at times so always check them before popping up, especially on weekends. Other than that, I love this place. It's made shipping things very easy for me and put smiles on quite a few faces. Their shipping speed is typically faster than USPS, minus the holiday season. Easy to get in, get out and get your stuff shipped out! read more

I am beyond shocked. I was in a pinch and needed to print out a shipping label. A single page print on plain paper. No big deal right? I stop in and am told to just email it to them. $1.58 for a single page b/w print. I asked why it was so much to print a single sheet of paper out, apparently it's because I emailed it to them. They charged me $1.50 for "Email & Access" and 8¢ for the print. As a reseller EVERY dollar counts. Charging $1.50 for printing a single sheet of paper is highway robbery. My advice, do yourself a favor, drive the extra few minutes to OfficeMax or Office Depot for your print jobs. read more

NEVER AGAIN. Was a regular customer but my last shipping got so messed up, with the UPS store blaming UPS and being unwilling to simply resend a package at no cost and UPS basically telling me their driver would not have possibly lied about delivering my package to the wrong place, even though there was proof it has been taken to the wrong place. I did not drop my package off directly at UPS, I dropped it off at the store. Only after UPS agreed to refund the cost of my second shipment directly to the store, did this store refund me the money I had to pay to send the package so that it could arrive in time to use it for their event. The service was great. The staff was patient, friendly, and very helpful. Sending our Notary letter was simple and seamless, although they may charge a little expense like 1 letter for $11 which is a bargain so be sure to choose your options well. Clean service and a small place. Parking is a little crowded here on weekends except weekdays. read more

I am out over $100 because I entrusted UPS to both pack and ship my items. I paid to have the store both pack and ship a product that I was selling online. When the package arrived to the customer my product was damaged and unusable to the point that I had to offer my customer a full refund or replacement. At first I was only mildly upset. I knew I had insurance on the package so I thought that everything could still turn out alright. I would get a refund for the damage then and the reship a replacement item through UPS again. However UPS refused to offer any sort of restitution. The fragile items that I paid for to be professionally packed where thrown into the box without any sort of padding or even stuffing to keep them secure and shipped across the country. Needless to say again I had to give my customer a refund since they arrived damaged. So I sent a replacement on my own dime (not through UPS and it arrived fine without damage) Still, UPS could not offer any degree of same customer service I gave my customer even though it was completely their fault since they both packed and shipped the items. Initially when I told the store manager he didn't seem concerned and took on a "it is what it is" attitude and directed me to a contact corporate. I am certain that I will be using FedEx for the foreseeable future. The icing on the cake is that just to make a return I had to create a professional account on UPS.com where you are forced to add credit or debt card number. Then I got charged for having a feature that I didn't even want on my new UPS account!!! Although, they did refund me for the charge to my account. Overall things went almost as bad as possibly could have. read more

I came here to get some legal documents notarized. Everyone here is so friendly! I noticed they made a point to greet each person as they walked in and direct them to where they would be serviced, which was nice because it eliminated the "I don't know which counter to go to" shuffle. I was in and out very quickly. I was not prepared when I came and needed my drivers license and social security card copied to my documents before getting them notarized, and the guy behind the counter was happy to help. He was especially careful not to damage my social security card while affixing it to each document to copy. The same guy also helped another woman take her packages out and load them in her car, which I thought was above and beyond in terms of customer service! The best UPS service ever! The staff a guy super friendly and helpful, fast! He came out the door and help me carry my package, and scanned my box, gave me a receipt. Could these people be any nicer? I think not. I love this UPS location. Derrick, the manager, set up a mailbox for me over the phone when I moved from California to Texas. He made the process easy and was very kind in answering the many questions I had. I drive from Dallas to get my mail once a week and the staff always jumps up when I enter and immediately helps me by getting my overflow mail. Dante always offers to carry out any packages to my car as I usually have my dog with me and my hands are full. He is great! I hardly ever write reviews. I had to write one for this business. I was struggling to bring in about 3 heavy packages to be mailed and had more in the car. One of the employees, a very friendly woman (I wish I had gotten her name), hurried to help me in the door and take the packages out of my arms (which was super-sweet). I told her I had more in the car and asked if she would mind if I ran out and got the rest so I could make one transaction. She then offered to go out to my car and bring them in for me! I haven't been back (haven't needed to send any packages lately), but when I go again I'm going to tell her how much I appreciate her help and kindness. It was more than excellent customer service. I don't want to get sappy on you and drop the whole "restored my faith in humanity" line. It didn't quite manage that. But it was awesome! read more
