One of my favorite locally-owned and operated businesses to support in Fleming Island! The service at this location is phenomenal! The staff is on their A-Game here and I always have a great experience. I've been coming to this location for quite some time now and here recently, they have remodeled the store in order for their staff to work more efficiently and effectively. After visiting a few times since the remodel, I noticed the vibe and it's definitely a good change. Things seem to flow better. From printing labels to doing Amazon returns and having eviction papers notarized to scanning and faxing important documents like contracts, trusts, wills and lease agreements - the employees have handled my issues properly and with professionalism and discretion. It's so appreciated! I really depend on this UPS location to get it right for me. And they do a fantastic job at a reasonable price! Olivia was one of the worst front facing customer service employees I have ever encountered. I explained I wanted bundles of papers separated by mini cover sheets or separate faxes. She said "don't tell me how to do my job, you don't know how faxes work. I explained that Ive been a computer scientist for over 25 yrs and yes I know how they work. This young lady actually looked at me and said " I can't deal with you, I'm not doing this" and walked away to get someone else to help me. The young man that helped me understood what I was asking for I gladly paid for the extra pages I was adding so that wasn't an issue. The young lady needs to find another profession that doesn't deal with customers. I won't be back to UPS. She made my whole experience there very uncomfortable. read more

Today I was charged $11 to fax three pages. The woman only had to type in the fax number and hit send. Had she told me I was going to be charged that much I never would have used the service. I complain to the manager. He seemed more interested in getting the last word then satisfying my complaint. He refunded me two dollars claiming I was mischarged by the initial woman. My point is that I was charged with some people make as an hourly rate to fax three pages. While I was there I watched another customer get charged for a free Amazon return. I will never come back to the store again, nor should you. Shame on them. read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. The customer service I received there was truly unbelievable. Lori and Dorthy were extremely rude, sarcastic, and unprofessional. It started on the phone where I was hung up on for asking questions, it seemed that I was inconveniencing them for inquiring more information. At the location, I was presented with the same attitude. I was given inconsistent information and when trying to clarify the miscommunication, both Lori and Dorthy were very impatient and rude. Lori said that she was the manager there but she could not assist me with the service I was inquiring bc "that's not what she was assigned to do that day." I was taken back by the poor customer service. This resulted in Lori stepping away to help another customer and complaining about me while I was standing there, at that point I left. read more

should be 0 stars came in to drop off a return for Amazon. i had 2 bar code slips on 1 package. I asked the long haired dude if that was ok to ship. he said no they only scan 1 barcode and not both. my dilemma was having 1 Amazon bag that the 2 identical items came in. unfortunately Amazon made me use 2 separate return bar codes for 2 identical items. I told him the only thing I could do was cut the package in half so that both bar codes would be seen and could be scanned properly. I asked him if I could borrow some scissors since obviously i didn't have scissors on me because I didnt think I would have a situation happen like this. He acted like he couldn't locate a pair then reluctantly handed them to me. After I cut the Amazon package in half and separated the 2 items each with their own barcode , I asked him if I could please have 2 pieces of tape to close up the ends of the packages that I had just cut apart. He said no that I could BUY a roll of tape from their store to close the ends shut! (which I didn't do! ) I literally couldnt believe how incredibly rude, unprofessional, unhelpful and cheap UPS Fleming Island is. wow just wow! when a customer is in a jam, they dont go out of their way to make it better, they make it worse! Rude inept and uncaring about sums up this branch of ups at fleming island. Package sent to wrong address by young kid that works there and it took me almost a week to find out . I sent requests for updates and got the same answer 4 or 5 times,the business is closed. I went in person this morning 5/6/2024 and it took a while to go through the same previous ,business closed info. Finally it was discovered the birthday present costing 85 dollars for overnight was sent to the wrong address. I pulled out my address sonny boy was supposed to send it to. It was written by my wife who has a fantastic handwriting.I asked the women there do you see any 6 or 5 in these directions. NO was response,and then went on to admonish me for not double checking the information.It's on the screen and you should have double checked it. I am 75 and did not have my glasses. Next statement was we are human we make mistakes.No apologies However she did mention if I wanted to pay,when it was returned I could send it again.Where do these people come from. I would highly recommend this UPS Store. Great customer service, quick, friendly, efficient, and they offer a wide variety of services. I moved recently out of state to San diego,CA. I went to 2 UPS Stores asking for large posterboard prints. The stores here seriously have 2 junky printers that do nothing but basic prints. I really miss being able to send Adobe pdf files to this ups store to print large color prints, ship packages, and make custom business cards for me. read more

UPS store - I've had bad experiences there before, but none as unpleasant as today. I go to drop off a prepaid package that contains ammunition, and wanted to make sure I had it marked correctly. I was first told by the young person that they don't ship ammunition, when I informed him they did the managers reply was "It's a drop-off... we can't control what they put in the box". I then repeated that I just wanted to make sure the markings were correct for shipping ammo, was then told that "they don't know" My second concern was I chose the flat-rate shipping option online and was told that "UPS doesn't offer flat rate shipping". I replied that they do, as I chose that option online... the managers response was "Well, that's their verbage, not ours..." Rude and unwelcoming. read more

Rudest UPS store employees. They overcharge double, close to triple, the price than other UPS locations. Employees will not acknowledge you or help you if you have a question. Be prepared for a rude sarcastic answer back. The owner just stands there when the employees give such poor service. Be prepared to wait more than 10 minutes because the employees would rather converse with each other First. Very upsetting business to have in the neighborhood. They keep their equipment well-maintained and everything I print at their shop looks great. Came into this location to ship a package in which I had an official UPS email with barcode from www.ups.com sent to me by the online store I purchased my item from. I was told they couldn't use the barcode even though the barcode was generated from UPS on their website and specifically said to take it to the local UPS store. The lady at the counter had me email the link to her and she printed off the label from her computer and began to attach it to the box (this was a prepaid label from the merchant). After this, she told me it would be $2 because they had to print it off. When I questioned the fee and asked if they could waive it since that wasn't disclosed before wasting my time standing at the counter, she then proceeded to tell me she's the owner and that it was $2 and she wouldn't waive the fee. I told her no thank you. It's not the amount but the lack of disclosure and inability to waive a small fee to keep a customer happy. They lost a customer and ended up throwing the label away. Not a good business move in my opinion and they definitely left a lasting impression. read more

Very rude and unprofessional owner. She denied that her sales clerk gave away my mailbox that I had for years and then did not give me a replacement key for three months and closed my box. I agreed to pay her the certified return fees and asked for her name to ensure the time and date the conversation took place and she became emotional and stated that she wants to close my box. I went in to this UPS store, as it is the closest to my house and the associate that helped me had on a necklace embellished in confederate flags that was tucked in to her UPS uniform shirt. Once I left, I called the store and spoke to the manager, Jennifer, and she told me that the jewelry was not outside of UPS uniform, did not apologize and defended the fact that her associate was not outside of uniform but would "let the store owner know." I'm very shocked and will not be returning to this UPS store. I'll drive a little further to not be welcomed in to a store where the associates are allowed to wear a confederate flag at work. I have been "forced" to use UPS several times by either Amazon or other entities that request shipping thru UPS. I have NEVER had a positive experience at this location. I have never encountered a polite employee here. My experience is these employees are know it all, entitled people. "Jorge" you may want to educate yourself as to the purpose of a receipt. After trying to refuse me a receipt for drop off because you say "it can't be used for tracking". I do t care about tracking. I can now prove YOU accepted my package when it doesn't show up at the destination (as has happened on more than 1 occasion from this particular store) & I did indeed drop it off. In the future, I will drive to a different location if I am required to shop via UPS. read more

We needed to have some family artwork packed and shipped. The store is always crowded so I used the appointment feature on their website. When I arrived for the appointment I was told, " I don't know why that is on our website you need to wait in line". After waiting I was given a quote to pack and ship the artwork in excess of $500. The experience was bad so I decided to cross the Buckman and try the FedEx store on San Jose. They were fast and helpful. The price was 30% less for the same packing and delivery service. Our local UPS store needs to do better. It is disappointing to see our local store offer that level of service. Maybe it's new management or ownership? read more

I have never been while it was busy but each time I have come in with a package, someone who is doing something other than helping a customer always stops what they are doing and asks if I have been helped and provides prompt and professional service, which I enjoy. I shipped two packages on December 22nd. I am aware this is three days before Christmas and never anticipated the packages making it to Washington state and Nevada beforehand. I intentionally shipped these packages later with the full knowledge of them arriving after Christmas. Jennifer, the brown headed woman was the cashier. The interaction began positive and it was an average exchange of dialog between us. What made me angry is her repeatedly stating I was shipping these out "late", I needed to, "get on the ball earlier next year", and that I shouldn't ship cookies because "they'll go stale before they get there". I didn't come to this particular UPS store to pay an absurd $102.00 to ship two small boxes and listen to Jennifer speak to me like I was a child who should have known better. Especially when my expectation was never for these packages to arrive before or by Christmas. I asked if they would arrive that Saturday or possibly the Monday after. She couldn't give a definitive answer and I didn't expect one. Common decency and respect are not too much to expect. I will not be returning to this UPS. read more

My wife went to the store at 10am and sent an overnight package to me in New Jersey. The clerk indicated it would arrive late the next day. Going onto UPS tracking the next day, the package was still in the first box late afternoon so I called the store asking what happened. From the tracking site it looked like it never left the store. The person that answered indicated that it was picked up at 6pm ,their only pick up ,and once it leaves the store it's then UPS responsibility (store being different then the package company).In fairness, he indicated he would get in touch with UPS and find out what happened but cautioned that they have til later that night before considering the package late. He took my cell and indicated he would get back to me. That was yesterday and no info from this individual. I finally got through the UPS electronic maze this morning to a human then had to call again to another human because the phone line was bad and after several minutes the agent came back and said they didn't deliver as promised but it should arrive sometime today, a full day later then promised. Paid $75 for overnight delivery got two day shipping instead. Will reject the credit card charge for the failure to deliver an overnight package the next day. It's been a bad experience all around and probably will never use their shipping services again. I only write this review to caution others that need overnight delivery that this one didn't work and the system made it nearly impossible to figure out why. Next time, I will try Fedex. The story continues with the store disputing the credit card chargeback necessitating sending documents to prove they didn't deliver it the next day. Now let's see, I really really needed overnight delivery and it turned into 9 pm day 2 which really screwed me up. Now they are disputing the non delivery with writing that neither we nor the bank can read. I would think if you screwed up a customer you might not want to remind them that you screwed up an important overnight delivery if for no other reason then the customer will update the review. Store associate Ashle was rude. I'm nearly 7 months pregnant and she didn't bother to help me at with a very large package. Even requested I lift it up on the scale. Normally no big deal but I'm clearly pregnant and a little bit of compassion/thoughtfulness would be appreciated. Also saw her knock over a package said "oh, well." I use them for shipping, copies, business cards, and custom etsy.com stickers for my store. Every time I go into the store I'm greeted promptly with friendly faces ready to help me. The store owner, Ashlen, is a very sweet lady. She is extremely knowledgeable and always willing to answer any of my questions. This store is quick, efficient, provides top quality work, clean, friendly, easy to find parking, etc!!!! This is the only Ups Store I will use. Easily the best UPS store I've ever dealt with. Have you ever been to one of these shipping stores and felt like maybe things weren't fully above board? I went to a *different* one today (12/22) and was told that the system was rebooting and they could only accept cash, and could only ship UPS. Then I'm told the package can ship Ground ($17) but that it won't move out until 1/2. They said all shipping companies (including usps) are also limiting their options similarly until well after Christmas. My gifts are going to be late, my fault, but not THAT late. So I cave and pay for 2-day Air (your only option if you want it to move before 1/2!) for $50. It's still not going to arrive until 12/27. I leave and feel the whole thing was off. I call *this* store (Fleming Island) and talk to Asst Manager Taylor and her employee who are shocked. Yes, I can ship Ground at her store. It will go out 12/26. It will arrive 12/28. $17. You better believe I returned to the first store, got my package and a ($50!) refund. My package will ship from the Fleming Island store, for $17, and arrive by 12/28 even though I waited until the last minute. Winning. Shout out to Taylor who called me back after hearing the story from her employee and walked me through my options including getting my package back and refunded. #workethic #goodbusiness #myups read more
