UPS was supposed to deliver my paid package to the UPS Store in Lynnwood, Washington. Instead, the careless driver delivered my paid package to the UPS Store in Everett, Washington. Those are two very different locations. What transpired is what really matters. UPS was not willing to correct their mis delivery. Instead, I was supposed to accept the loss without complaint. I attempted to contact the UPS Store in Everett several times. They refused to answer their phone and talk to me. On the other hand, the manager and her staff at the Lynnwood UPS Store spoke with me trying so hard to help out. Those were nice folks and quite professional. I can't say the same about the people at the Everett UPS Store. They showed that they were unconcerned and did not have the time of day to help resolve this blunder. As for the dismissive attitude of the Everett store--piss on them. read more

This location has some bad reviews and i'm about to leave a good one because I have been here multiple times and the service has been fine. Today Rebecca took care of me. She is very nice. This location doesn't always provide the best service not necessarily because of incompetence, but because THEY ARE ALWAYS BUSY. It is a busy location. I know returning things you bought online can be a drag. But if you visit this location, don't take it out on the employees, they're trying, and every time I come here there is a line. So try exercising patience. I'll attach some pictures and videos of my visit I just made right now. Notice with my video how when I walk in there is a line. No matter if the line at the door each team member at this location make a point to be extremely courteous and extend excellent service. In short Sure, it's a UPS store. Not what we typically bother to review. But this one has pleasant, helpful staff, and I drive past another UPS store that's closer to my house just so I don't have to deal with weird spats when I ask people to do their jobs. It's a difference worth noting. In long I used to use the Speedway store before management changed. This one is about the same on the surface: Strip mall location Big parking lot and you can probably park pretty close to the door Standard services--shipping, receiving, USPS drop, notary services, etc So if you just need those things, it should be just an errand, right? Some times of the year (pretty much mainly Saturday afternoons and most of December), the place gets busy. So you budget a little time unless you can sneak in and beat the rush somehow. All good. The kids who work here know what they're doing, they're happy enough to be doing it, and they're easy to talk to. I'm glad they're here taking care of what they offer. read more

Would like to give a good review, they seem very busy here and ship out alot of packages. But I was unable to receive my package that was shipped there, it was received 7/12/24 and they claimed it wasn't there at the store on 7/15/24. Here is my email showing date of delivery. I'm confused and upset. If the staff here could give the minimal explanation as to what happened: should I wait? Is there a problem? They are the shipping company store, they know more than me, a simple reason or explanation would help me. They got so defensive when I came in on Friday morning, I guess it was too early to expect delivery, but Monday, no reason. Just defensiveness. I don't know if it's past experience with angry customers or lack of care, it's unclear. This is the exact opposite of the horrible experience I had at the UPS Store on Evergreen. In contrast, THIS UPS Store is light, bright, clean, socially distanced, busy but the line moves, and will now be my choice when I need to go to a UPS location. Unlike the other location, the guys working here are properly masked and actually provide great, amiable customer service. Pro tip #1: Go during an off hour. The line is sometimes out the door and the parking lot has narrow parking spaces. Good luck figuring out what an off hour is. I came after work on a Thursday and it was too busy to bother. I returned on Saturday at 11 and even though it was still busy, the line moved quickly. Pro tip #2: This is a great location to make an Amazon return with no hassle. Just bring in your item and they'll scan your return code, print the label, and package your return for you. Easy peasy! read more

I don't want to support a business that has to nickle and dime a customer. $2.99 to print a label! Thats improper pricing to say the least. Charging for an envelope and the label was about 10 dollars to return something that was 14.99 really was not worth it. I told them I'll take my business elsewhere. The store closes at 6:30pm Monday through Friday. I arrived at 6:20pm on Friday to drop off a package that was ready to go. It had its label printed and everything I just needed to hand it to an employee. When I went to the door they had the door locked even though they were supposed to be open for 10 more minutes. That's pretty terrible customer service. read more

They have recently delivered to me a package that was intended for another box-holder (Did they read the shipping label on that package?) and completely lost a package that was delivered there for me. This happened a month ago, and the terrible experience still bothered me enough so that I'm writing this review now. I ship with both UPS and USPS for my business. I came in to drop off 5 pre-paid packages to this store on a weekend. Everyone there has always been friendly to myself and others based on multiple past experiences. There's one guy in particular, a little on the tallish side, white, skinny, dark hair and wears a hat. He's the reason for his review and why I won't be doing business at this store any longer. I wouldn't even trust dropping off packages here after all the negative reviews I read on Yelp. Here's how the conversation went. Me: "Hi. Do you guys take USPS packages?" Him: "We usually would have to charge $1 for each, but today I won't charge you." Me: "Okay, thank you! I have five in my car, I'll be right back." I walk out to grab 5 12x14x6 boxes (approx. 2 lbs ea) from my car all in one trip and carried them to the store. Him: "We can't take those. We would have to charge you if you leave more than one." Me: "Okay, well... can I just leave one?" Him: "Why would you leave one. Haha, why don't you just take them all with you." Me: "Okay whatever I'll just deal with it" Him: "OKAY HAVE A GREAT DAY!" In an extremely snarky voice. I leave to go back to my car with the high stack of packages. I never had this experience before. This isn't about the money at all, $5 is nothing. The attitude of this guy was absolutely unnecessary and bad enough that a month later, I decided to write this review. I wouldn't trust to leave any packages with him after that. I have used this location several times and was pleased. Today I called and was greeted by a friendly staff member. I asked about getting passport pictures taken. Just as the staff member told me I could come in anytime to get the picture taken I heard someone in the background, who I assume was the staff member who is supposed to be taking the pictures, say that they were leaving. Why would a service be offered during the hours of business and then not have staff available to perform that service? It's a good thing that I called first or I would've been really upset. This is likely an issue with that one employee. That person needs to be held accountable. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I sent two files 3 times and it was your system that wasn't receiving it properly not me sending the wrong file. I waited for a good 20 minutes to resend it and by the time I sent the third try I had already spent $12 and I was fed up with the system not the employees and I said I'd go somewhere else and one of the employees said "great have a nice day" and as I walked out he yelled "next time send the right thing" thinking I wouldn't hear but I did (I was with my toddler) and I went right back in and said I did and that it was your system. Have a package that was delivered to a lockbox at this location. Unfortunately the Lockbox I'd reader is broken so there is no way to retrieve the package. The help desk phone number has no one answering the phone (over 20 minutes). The employee has no key. They have no supervisor on site to assist. Package will now get returned to sender and there is nothing I can do about it and the employees can't or won't help. More frustrating than calling Comcast. Worst part is UPS has no way to complain. So I guess they gave 0 complaints every year despite some of the worst services I've ever experienced. Absolute frustration. 10/10 would highly recommend sending your worst enemy here. read more

I had an Amazon return with a bar code, which I have limited experience. Instead of helping me, the young employee stood looking, (panicked), at the only other customer in line. Seeing she or the other employees were not going to assist, I stepped aside to figure out the return label. I eventually got back in line and the owner, I believe, stated " why isn't it in the box"? I told him I selected "no box and no label, FREE through Amazon. He then said "Amazon is wrong". After printing the label he asked how I'd like to PAY for printing the label. since I selected FREE, this took me by surprise. The cost was $2.20. Before leaving I asked if they needed anything further from me and the owner grumbled something about how he was going to have a hard time getting my return in the box. The owner may be great under pressure but his , and his employees, customer service skills are lacking. I don't what kind of agreement the UPS stores have with Amazon but bad mouthing them is not a good look. I won't be back to this store. Smart people will use a different store for picking up. At this one, there is almost always a line, and courtesy, empathy, and just plain "smarts" are lacking. They are always understaffed. Courtesy is always lacking. Today, I was the only one in line holding only my phone, and the person who walked in the door after me was called to the desk to ship his modest package and served first. They have two signs to supposedly segregate people by task, except they don't list "pick up" on either sign, leaving those folks to guess. Their only good service is on dropping off a Amazon *return*, for after waiting to be called, is typically easy for them as scanning your item and printing out a receipt and handing it to you is all that they do. However, one time I had 3 prepaid Amazon *trade-ins*, and the idiot scanned one item twice, and the end result was that Amazon said that they only received two items despite my having a receipt with three. I called this UPS store, but this UPS store doesn't answer their phone, I always get a recording or "mailbox full," and they NEVER return your call, so this clerk's "error" (they may have merely kept the product for themselves) cost me a $10 credit for that one. Obviously, counting beyond 2 is a challenge here. I should have learned my lesson from that. For shipping something that's not prepaid, I've observed this to be challenging, as they are very slow. This is probably average, though USPS is better. For picking up a package, this place is a disaster! Choose some other access point, otherwise you might regret it (note: UPS recently started charging for a vacation hold, they apparently prefer to deliver to unoccupied homes for the convenience of porch pirates). The first time I got notified, it was that the package was at the access point, and the only clerk there, shuffling over to me in-between pauses with another customer (and a building line), looked in various piles, asked for my name-I stopped spelling it and just showed him the slip he just handed me (for an Amazon return!), looked up my name (the app does not list something as simple as one's name), then said it wasn't there. A few hours later, the app had that it was ready for pickup, so I went back to the store. Same clerk, same result. I called UPS. They said they'd call, they did - and emailed. A guy from the store also called and said it was in. I waited two days, just in case. That was today I went in. After the staff was done with the first guy, he looked at my screen, looked around the same places in the small store, then came back to ask my name. Nope. At home, I logged into UPS.com again, this time to file a claim. It said that I needed an account #, then asked for payment info. No account # under profile, figures giving how poor their website and app are (and they have you agree to a "technology agreement"?!?). I had to call in again, wait on hold this time for 20 minutes, then spend 35 more minutes on the phone with yet another two agents, the second of which filed the claim, as I wasn't able to without having an account #. The agent said that it will take up to 8 business days to resolve... While I was on hold, I changed my Access Point to a non-UPS store, that may be a major part of the problem. I also saw where the online notice from the ups.com had changed yet again to being delivered to the access point yet again (that makes 4x in the last week so far), suggested that some idiot put my package on a truck for the day, and I'm guessing that's what's been happening *every* day. The notice stated that my package would only be "held" for 5 more *calendar* days. Good luck to me if I ever see this package. Update: I was right. Last night, the day after my last visit there, at ups.com it stated that the investigation was closed, but no further information. Today, it stated that the package was "returned to sender." WTF??? The initial message said that it wouldn't be returned until next Tuesday! Of course, now I cannot get a human at UPS customer service anymore (many companies pride themselves in that fact), and there is NO RECOURSE against UPS. I contacted the sender and informed them of this rigamarole and hopefully will be able to get a replacement at the significantly discounted price that I had purchased the item for. Another 1/2 hour on the phone of wasted time thanks to this UPS store. This is now going into the second week. Now that I know that there are other options near enough to me, even a non-UPS one, I will never, ever go to at least this UPS store again. They are the most incompentent and disorganized bunch I have ever seen. This "season" - and who knows how many episodes are left in it - is by far the worst. I can remember from a previous, more-modest encounter thinking that anybody who opened another UPS store in the vicinity could *easily* take tons of business from this place, perhaps putting them out of business, which they deserve to be given how poorly they operate. read more

The only reason I would give one star is some of the staff can get the mail from my box that I pay for. Shipping is a complete different story I payed almost $20.00 to ship a small bible from the early 1900's to Calif in early January and it never made, but the recipient did receive a box of Espon salts, with my name as the sender. After almost 30 calls and 4 investigations this store will not even talk to me on the phone or return emails. They can not find the Bible and can only tell me, "we think the labels got changed by the owner" and this staff does not care, at one time I did talk to their expert she yelled at me and talked to me like I was a little child and was very rude and demeanin. read more

Horrible service today. Opening employee would not take my amazon package per the tracking label provided by amazon. He guaranteed me the package would not get to amazon if I did pay my fee and ship. HE was flailing all over and throwing his arms. would not scan my labels. at one point he even picked my stuff up off the counter and turned around headed to back saying fine lady ill take your stuff. Great drop-off place. Convenient, the employees are always friendly and smiling. They know what I need and do not hesitate to help. When I went there during the Christmas season, the place was full of holiday spirit and had enough workers so that I didn't have to wait that long to send my presents. I had to ship long-distance and I asked for their prices and recommendations and they gave me an honest answer without emptying out my wallet. They give you options and let you choose based on your preference. In addition to that, they know how to package their things properly. One of the presents that I sent was an antique and it arrived in FL safe and sound. Everything was wrapped up nicely and the prices were fair. read more
