Wanted to ship a pair of shoes with a prepaid label. Was told I have have to pay a $2.99 computer usage fee to print my label. I don't mind paying the printing fee but $3 to do your job is ridiculous when you are making money to ship items out. The girl working the counter couldn't even keep a straight face when she told me about this fee and was overall unimpressive at best. Would never go here again. read more

I visited the UPS store to return a package. I was greeted by a HAPPY employee, Grace Leon. I mean, VERY, VERY HAPPY! At first, I thought she knew me and was thrilled to see me again, but that wasn't the case. She didn't know me from Jack. She was very helpful and seemed excited to be working for UPS. I don't know about all of you,,,,but I don't get that kind of service in El Centro very often. Suspiciously, I looked around to see if I was on camera. (Maybe I was being Punk'd?) Nope,,,,she was just a great employee. Then I typed her 1st and last name into my phone, because if I ever open a new business I'm going to steal her from UPS ask her to work for me. Of course, she handled everything perfectly. I love this store. It is nice inside, there are designated parking spots, and the people are always very helpful. I am never using this place again for anything. I dropped off a return 2 weeks ago and I have the receipt, yet it shows as never having shipped. UPS says I never shipped the package so then how did I get a receipt? They either stole the package at this store or misplaced it. Never again. read more

I needed to return something with a prepaid UPS label, the box didn't fit in a dropbox, and I had no desire to drive to downtown El Centro to deal with the weird hours and long line over at the actual UPS office. I remembered getting a flyer for this UPS store when I was at the mall, and decided to check it out since I was in the area. I spotted it right over by Planet Fitness, and walked in. Mike, the owner walked up and greeted me right away. He was happy to accept my package, and the female employee (forgot to ask her name) got me a package receipt without me having to ask for it. We all chatted a little bit, and I discovered that they do way more than handling packages. First of all, let me just say how annoying it is to have to go buy a whole roll of bubble wrap to mail one thing. Or go to the Post Office and have them act like you're annoying them with your shipping needs. This place has everything you need to get something shipped and they'll help you do it with a smile. Other things: - They shred papers! Um... I don't know about you, but I have BOXES of old papers that need to be shredded and no time to do it. He's running a promotion for 50 cents a pound, so I am definitely taking all of it over there to get rid of. - They rent mailboxes. You can get your mail 24/7 like a P.O. Box, *but* you get a street address to use instead of a P.O. Box number! He said they also alert you when your stuff gets delivered. Sounds pretty cool. - They print lots of different things, do notary and I think passports too. I'm sure I left out some stuff. Anyway, these people are super nice and helpful. Go see them! I highly recommend supporting small businesses with great customer service and this is a good one. I'll be popping in more often. read more

We had 2 bad experiences. If you are looking for a notary this is not the place for that. They told us to come back at noon because the notary was coming in until then we went back at noon and the clerk said "oh no she isn't doing notary right now". Just saying beware with that type of service if needed. read more

Both the owner and the young lady who was helping me went out of their way to help me cut the cost of shipping down which they did by 50%. They did all that with a great smile. Had no choice but to patronize this business when I wanted to return my Direct TV equipment (thieves...that's another review altogether).
