I have worn a suit every day for the work for the past decade and have patronized dozens of dry cleaning establishments in Los Angeles, Orange, and now Imperial County. We had many loads after living on a boat so had to get to a laundromat where I could get a bunch done all at once. The first impression on the way in is that it is bright, clean with lots of washers and dryers. There is a change machine that works well plus there are snacks behind the counter for dry cleaning just in case you get the munchies during the wait. The person that works in the dry cleaning area is so nice as well. It was very busy the day (a Saturday) but I still found enough washers and dryers to get everything done. The walkway between the dryers and folding tables was a bit tight so you had to suck in as people went by to get their clothes out of the dryers but everyone was so nice & kind that it fun with all of us in the same laundry basket. The washers were clean outside and, more importantly, inside which cleans your clothes well. Prices were decent and the dryers got my clothes dry without begging for more quarters. I recommend Modern Laundromat and Cleaners. It is a great place to get your laundry done in good time. You could even get your shopping done at Vons, have lunch at Mozzarelli's Pizza or just get a drink & snack and read magazines in between loads.

She always a does a great job and leaves my dresses perfect to the right length, adds cups for dresses, and adjusts the sides to fit better. I've gotten major and minor alterations done and have not had any issue with her. She does get busy so make sure to get in at least 2 weeks prior your event and have it ready 2 days before in case anything else needs fixing. I had a problem where I picked up my dress I needed for the next day and the cups put in the dress were way too high. I wasn't able to try it on when it was ready since I couldn't go in person to pick it up personally and had someone else go for it. And it was very late in the day by the time it was ready around 5-6pm. I called the next morning since I needed my dress for a photoshoot that same day. Maria the seamstress wasn't there as she doesn't come in till later in the day. But since it was a quick fix, the other lady that works there was able to move them down for me and had it ready fairly quickly and it fit perfect after. All the staff there is professional and helpful. Numerous dresses done and no complaints so far! I would recommend them since they are reliable and fix any issue that may come up. Get your alterations done ahead of time so you have some time to fix anything if needed.

If I could give this business zero stars, I would. I'm appalled at the way I've been treated as a…read morepaying customer for more than a year. I brought 2 dresses in recently to have the elastic replaced in the sleeves. When I picked the items up, and after paying more than $100 (certainly not true to their "value" name) for 2 simple alterations and a blouse, I realized one of the dresses hadn't been fixed at all. The sleeves were left exactly as I brought them in. The other dress looked like a child had sewn the elastic and basically ruined the dress. And still I paid $107. What's worse is that when I first brought the items back to show them the problem, the owner John wasn't there. So I was instructed to call back in the morning. When I did, rather than apologizing for the confusion--especially since they couldn't even find record of my alteration at all--John proceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do and argue whether there was any issue at all. The whole situation is unacceptable. I will absolutely not be going back here and warn anyone from going here. Your clothes will be ruined and you'll be treated like garbage. Buyer beware!
