Staples is has one of the worst customer service ever. I went in today to print out some files and needed some help but the lady seemed annoyed as if I had bothered her if she's so bothered go home. I did everything myself but for what it's worth I'd rather go to the library. read more

This Staples is in the shopping center with Best Buy, Bed, Bath & Beyond and Bev Mo. There is plenty of parking with most stores having a separate area divided off by sidewalks. There is a sign with major stores at the entrance so you can easily see the sign from a distance. I had to drop off a UPS so I called before coming to double check. We paid before and printed our own label. I walked in, went to the counter and it took only a minute and they gave us a receipt! I didn't need anything but I checked out the store before leaving for future reference. They seem to have all the same basic items as any other Staples. It's good to know in case we need to return. I'm not sure if there was a problem before but I had zero problems at this Staples. I would recommend this store to anyone. I had to mail this HUGE bulky item for work and so off to Staples I went. There was literally no wait at all. The staff were on top of it and got me a receipt quickly. They did not look annoyed at the truly cumbersome item I brought in. For my needs this was basically perfection! read more

I went to staples to print out a document....easy, right?.... WRONG.... I walked in and from the beginning the young girl at the counter was less than helpful. she didn't explain to me how to send an email to staples to print a document out - she said I'd need to find a computer to do something which I didn't understand, then come back. i asked about sending via email to staples and she handed me a card and said send to this address. I sent the email to that address. I was supposed to receive a number of some sort. I waited. and I waited. and I waited... No confirmation number... The counter person returned and asked if I'd sent it. I said, yes, tho no response has been received... She then told me a woman had sent an email early this morning and it had just recently gotten to system - and it was almost 3 pm... Sorry, it's the system. Nothing I can do... I asked to see the manager. A woman employee came up and began talking to the clerk. They were looking at me intermittently and speaking in Spanish. Finally another woman came up and said she understood I'd requested assistance and asked what I needed. I explained the clerk had been less than helpful and the situation with no number being received yet. She tried to tell me the statement on the business card "email will only be kept in the system for 24 hours" meant it could take up to 24 hours for a response with a confirmation number to be generated. Please. I'm not stupid. Then I find out she's not the manager. The manager won't be back for two hours. She says she's sorry. It's the system. Nothing they can do. (Next time I know to certify before wasting my breath the person is the manager.) Sure there is something which can be done - Get a new system. I know I'm not the only one who has been inconvenienced by this. There were at least two people in one day, by their own admission. Repeatedly saying "sorry" doesn't help when one has driven an hour one way, as I'd done, to do this errand. I'm sorry is an excuse to placate and do nothing. I decided to resend the email and see if that helped. I resent two times and got an error message something about the receiving email (staples) wasn't accepting email... Two hours later, I'm still attempting to get a document printed out... Hoping there is another type of business which actually values their customers and treats them as if they are intelligent... 0 stars for this staples... SHAME ON YOU.... read more

SANDRA, supposedly a Manager has very poor customer service skills and lacks respect. What manager ignores their cashier and could not give one suggestion to help a customer? Because of Sandra I spent over an hour in this store and left with nothing. You need to put the correct hours of operation on your app. It said open till 9:00 pm on Saturday, went at 7:00 and it was closed. It said Sunday 10::00 am till 6:00 pm, went at 10:30 am and wasn't open, although the sign said open. 2 waisted trips, so someone else got my business. If I could I would rate it zero. read more

This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. I bought hundreds of dollars worth of office equipment from them recently and wanted to make an exchange on something. The person I spoke to was extremely rude, unprofessional and impatient. She did NOT give a damn about my issue. A good business will listen to the customer's problem and try to offer suggestions. I suggest avoiding this trash heap of a store completely. Their policies are terrible and things are extremely expensive. If you need office supplies Target and Walmart are way cheaper. If you need toner for your printers there are some great deals on Amazon with minimal delivery time. read more

They seem to know that they are the only store like this in town. The service is slow and poorly trained. However, they are always nice and friendly. The stock is low and some things are out of stock. They don't stand by their products. We bought a chair there, paid for them to assemble. When the seat adjustment handle stopped working only 2 months later, the store said it would only be covered if we had bought a warranty. They didn't care that the chair was only 2 months old and they are the ones that put it together. read more

This is one of the worst store in the valley with HORRIBLE customer service! The staffs are rude and unprofessional. I haven't shop at this place and decided to give it another go. ZERO customer service. They don't greet you or ask if you need help. And if you use a coupon, they make you feel like you are robbing $ out of their pocket. Walk in and grab a couple of items and got the treatment above so I left everything and walk out. I now buy my office supplies at Costco or Walmart. They treat me as a "valued customer". Copy & Print center sucks! I placed an order online a month ago and called to see if they confirmed it that same day..the girl put me on hold several times then said they did and it should be ready for pick up within 4 hrs. I gave them more time and called the next morning to make sure they were done...they were not. they said they didnt even have my order. i had to go down there and yell at people before things could get done. As soon as they saw me upset they were like...oh here it is. REALLY?!! they made me drive down there for nothing. then it still took them 2 days to get my things printed. Horrible service! Staples in the imperial Valley is the worse. I came in to make three copies on a Parchment paper. The person attending the Copy Center told me that I needed to wait 2 hours for a Copy because she had a large order ahead of me. I asked if it was okay to pay for at least ONE sheet of parchment paper because I have a printer at home and she said we have them on the floor, pointed to the wall and walk away. As i reached the wall section, the parchment paper she indicated on the floor was a count of 250 running up to $70. I spoke to the manager after that and I explained to him the situation how ridicule I found the surprise. Instead of a solution to the problem he said that the orders she has were priority and If i couldn't wait then I should buy the 250 sheet count. I've been in this store couple of times and I don't see any rude employees They are always helpful. Sometimes customers are not always right. People are not all the same, like customers are not all the same, the notion that "Customers are always Right", is untrue. They are some customers that are rude and not always right. We live in the Valley were it gets too hot, makes us get in a bad mood. Now if the machine at printing section is not working, it is not the employees fault, its a machanical thing. Now if the employee is trying to fix the problem... and you are talking, sorry they are not being rude to you, they are trying to fix the problem. Hey when the internet goes off and on, is it your fault... no it is the machinery/server. If your cell phone not working, because of your provider, is it your fault... no it is a machinery/server problem. So next time you think people are rude and the machines are not working... think if it was so or you were to irritated and hot headed. I like this store and I give it a good review. . read more
