Incompetent place of business my mail carrier took it upon himself to put in system that I had…read moremoved with no forwarding address bcuz I was returning mail (which is what you're supposed to do legally)that I was receiving from previous persons that lived here n apparently according to my mail carrier George I was returning too much mail (well that's his job right?) so he decided on his own without looking at the names on mail to put in system that I had moved which I never did if he would've done his job correctly n actually looked and read the names on thmail I was sending back he would've seen it was NOT my name it was the previous persons that lived here so for 2 whole months March n April we have not received any of our mail it's all been sent back to sender stating we moved n left no forwarding address bcuz we've gotten calls n emails from our creditors, utilities ,financial institutions, retirement ,life insurances , etc... asking for us to update our mailing address ? I have put in 3 complaints to USPS online ,I have spoken to the Attorney General ,consumer affairs I've gone numerous times to the post office to speak to postmaster n to this day May 2nd I am still NOT receiving letters n according to them they have resolved the issue yet I'm still getting emails from my creditors to please update my address bcuz they are getting my mail returned to them I am at my wits end with the USPS they are incompetent n lack PR training! so I'm giving them a thumbs down n 0 star review

This may be the busiest post office in a small town. Super huge PO Box section (accessible 24…read morehours a day). Many people who live in Baja Norte keep PO Boxes here (this is literally about 10 minutes walk from the border). It is always busy, the parking lot can be a little cramped at times. Personnel are very nice and helpful but speak only limited English (some are fluent in both languages). It is much easier to just speak Spanish here but be forewarned if you don't speak Spanish may be a little harder to find someone to help you. The only thing that sucks is it doesn't have one of those machines where you can buy postage and prep your own package for mailing.

This is about the Holtville, CA 92250 post office…read more An employee named Barbara has always been rude to all customers. Today, I took an 8 1'2" x 11" envelope in to be mailed. It already had postage on it from being mailed to me, (I was reusing the envelope.) She took it from me to mail it, having seen the postage. I stopped her and told her that I needed to pay for the postage as the postage stamp on there had already been used. She then said that she would have to charge the 3 sheets of paper in the envelope as a small package at the rate of $4.80 because it was not oriented horizontally. Keep in mind that the original postage, which had contained 15 pages and was sent on 9/15/22 had a postage stamp of $.93. She told me that $4.80 was the rate and there was nothing to be done about it. This is the same woman who earlier this year, when I took my property tax payment into the Holtville post office at 1:30 pm on 4/10/22, refused to put a postmark on my envelope for 4/10/22 because she said the mail had already left for the day and that would be fraud. I explained that I had it to the post office by 4/10 which is the only requirement, but she refused to postmark it. She is rude, does not follow the rules and gives the post office a very bad reputation.

I've had a couple misdirected mailings and she works very hard to locate your mail and correct the problem. I appreciate her hard work and dedication to her position with the United States Postal Service. The FedEx delivery drivers do not knock or barely knock. Then they take off to the next address…read more This has happened multiple times and it's unacceptable. It requires one of two things, (1) another delivery attempt where they do the same thing, or (2) they have you drive to this location to pick your item up. This wastes the customer's time, gasoline and more. The app gives you a QR code which for whatever reason this location cannot scan. That seems odd but par for this company. Got a complaint? You'll enjoy a brainless chat bot to resolve your issue. As of today I am finally done using FedEx and hope others do the same. Try UPS or another provider.

There was a new guy working who didn't seem to know how to work the tape dispenser and spent too much time trying to tape a box - that was just one factor adding to the slowdown here. Once we got to the front of the line it took some time to ensure everything was entered correctly as they spelled my name as Tanny. Overall I think we were at this location for about 40 min on a weekday afternoon.
