Did they have the forms that I needed? No. Was I told that every UPS store was out of these forms as they were confiscated by UPS officials? Yes. Did other UPS stores have the form? Yes. In conclusion, I blindly spent $15 whereas I could have gone to another location and gotten the form and saved. Anyway, the staff there was nice but it would have been nice if all UPS stores were aware of what's going, especially regarding the various policies and supplies. read more

The young men working in there are rude and lazy. One didn't want to walk to the back to check inventory, he said his manager would be mad. I asked to speak with the manager and he said the manager doesn't speak to customers. I feel like they was rude cause I'm black. Wouldn't waste my time going back here . read more

I brought my Amazon items to Return and the owner said next time I need to print out my mailing labels because he doesn't have time to do it. I explained to him that when I started my Amazon return process, it clearly says I can come to ups without printing labels. He didn't seem to care about the procedure and ranted about Amazon. There was no one else in the store and when I came he was just standing there not busy. He said that if I come back during the holidays he would not serve me unless I had the printed labels. I will never return to this store again so he certainly doesn't have to worry about me coming during the holidays! The Downtown Decatur location is busier, but there is never a problem with the employees not doing their job, fast and professionally. They definitely show you they want your business! I gave 2 stars because at least my packages got back to Amazon! read more

I'll start off this review by saying that my visits here have been very straightforward and simple. My visits have largely been to ship back Amazon orders. This usually requires no packaging so it is really easy. Only one time did they tell me I had to have boxes - so I had to return another day. Annoying, but it was the Amazon requirement for those items. I find that they keep the line moving - there usually is a line when I visit. The staff are not necessarily enthusiastic, but are pleasant to deal with. read more

This location is easy to get to and parking is usually close. On my most recent trip I was in and out within 5 minutes as I only had to bring in a package to ship back to Amazon. The man behind the counter was friendly and upbeat. He helped me get the QR code to scan so he could print the label and I was all done. So simple and quick! My package was sent on December 3, was delayed by the Philippine office (who attempted to extort more money from me, citing a fictional value placed on the product by an undocumented source) and was finally delivered on December 21. Which I refused, as they were children's vitamins that had been left in unairconditioned storage while I protested the additional charges. The additional charges mysteriously vanished, with no explanation still. The stafff are not knowledgeable about international shipping, relying on corporate office for information. And they don't want to be. Had one of them tell me "I'm not interested in what you have. I'm looking at it right here on the computer. I don't work for UPS. I work for the store." I was attempting to show her the tracking documents sent to me by the UPS office in the Philippines. To her credit, one lady has been in contact with corporate trying to help. Corporate refuses, not knowing the difference between vitamins and pharmaceuticals. Money has been wasted, both on purchasing the vitamins and getting them shipped. read more

These guys rock! I was able to drop off and get a receipt for my packages quickly and easily. They were in a good humor and fun to work with. At the moment I was there there were no lines and everything was clean and tidy. It's refreshing to go to a place where everybody is professional and on task. I'm sure I saved time over the other stores nearby because of the way traffic flows. I was able to drop this package off and on my way hit Publix and the battery store nearby. This all saved an incredible amount of time sitting in the car waiting for traffic and lights to drive elsewhere. I'll definitely use these guys more in the future. read more

Absolutely unhelpful and all around worthless. Went in to drop off a time sensitive DHL package and was told it was too late although both there website and DHL's website said 6 PM and wait for it....it was before 6 PM. When I challenged them on that I got some wish you washy response that they have to call for pick up no later than 6PM. Again I said that it was before 6 so why couldn't they call to which I got blank stares. I guess that's the reason their rating is so slow. Really a bad experience!! read more

Awful experience here. Paid extra to a shipper to have my item picked up at this location as I needed to take it with me out of town. They had poor customer service from the beginning and were quick to tell me they didn't have my package. They made no effort to explore the issue further. I waited there for an hour (with a flight to catch later that evening) while talking to corporate only to find out they did actually have my package at their location. They told me it had been shipped directly to their address by the shipper rather than identified as an access point item. They said they were stored in different locations so didn't know and then charged me another $20 to pick up the item bc of the supposed shippers error. Won't deal with them again. read more

Rude and poor customer service. I was not greeted when I entered. I mentioned it to them and they said they were busy that's why they did not tell me hello. However, they were not busy at all and I was the only customer in the store. Just two college aged guys standing at the register looking bored. I have been a customer of UPS Store for many years as I am a small business owner. I've had mailboxes at both the Sugarloaf and Lindbergh locations. I only came to this location because they stay open until 7:30pm. I've never had such rude service at this location before. I will be sure not to come to this location again. read more

After reading these bad reviews, I braced myself going in. I'd brought my own tape and 7, yes 7, packages to return. I was greeted by Jamar. He said bring them over here. I was surprised as some UPS stores do help and others don't. He helped me quickly organize, package and label everything and the best part, we had fun and laughed the entire time. Who has fun at a UPS store? Apparently myself and Jamar. Really though, excellent service. The experience reinforced my procrastination with piled up returns by making the process smooth, easy and even fun. Thank you Jamar. I will return to this UPS. I take responsibility for entrusting this post office facility to seal and deliver my package from another postal service carrier. Because they could not give me a receipt for my out of carrier postage label, I believe my package has been stolen. I will not be using UPS services again due to untrustworthy staffing. read more

It just took me a full hour to get 31 black & white copies printed here. First of all, the self service computer is down. Secondly, they don't tell you that you will be charged the $2.99 minimum to use the nonfunctional self service computer if they make the copies for you, & last but not least it took this dude a full 5 tries before he actually printed out all 21 attachments. I had called them regarding a package that was correctly delivered to my house, but I've just recently moved and one of the new roommates, being confused, returned the package to a local UPS store. She indicated to me that this was the store (which turned out to be wrong, and I accept full responsibility for that.) That said, as soon as I explained my situation, the woman on the other end decided immediately that she knew the roommate I was speaking of. To my horror, she began telling me about how rude "my roommate" was and how unpleasant it was to deal with her. After asking about the date of this encounter, I was able to figure out...that we were actually not talking about the same person at all. So... now that I just got to hear all the details of this random rude stranger in town, I wanted to know what they do with packages that are returned. She told me that they return them to driver, and from there, no idea where they go. Basically an attitude of - sorry, not our problem. Great.! Thanks a LOT... read more

I wouldn't give them a single star. They lost a very important package that was supposed to be shipped in 3-5 days via USPS, and proceeded to blame the mailman. USPS had no record of picking up the package, and the manager didn't even want to help. Terrible service... read more

This is not so much a review of this particular UPS store but it makes you wonder what their policy is when it comes to customer service. I mailed out a box Monday of this week and apparently the old label was still visible so it was sent to the wrong address and I ended up having to pay another $40 to get it sent to Oregon. The store manager gave me his/her employee discount which was very kind but it only amounted to about two dollars so my question is more whether UPS values its customers in general. Obviously they don't equip their employees to foster human relationships very well. Par for the course when it comes to corporate America I guess. I feel for the little control said employee has over his/her store and customers. Lesson learned! read more
