The online tools to upload and order are great, this particular location has delivered without fail in terms of schedule or quality. Just recently, running a smaller job, the service rep noticed it was a little different (stapled AND three-hole punched) as compared to my regular print jobs (stapled OR three-hole punched) and called to be sure I got what I wanted. Don't really see that sort of attention to detail and taking the time to make the call these days. I go back a long way with the "Kinkos" brand (spent many late nights doing paste-up work or copying and assembling training manuals back in the day) - and while it's a different sort of place these days, my fond memories have not been over-written.

After fumbling a bit with dubious consternation in front of the copier, I gladly accepted help from an employee, who asked me exactly what I needed and seemed to be quite knowledgeable. I was very quickly out the door with copies in hand, my only negative experience being that it's apparently debit/credit only and my card had a $10 hold for a few days on what turned out to be a $3 copy job.

Small neighborhood Post Office in the Canton Village shopping center. Lots of parking and very…read moreaccessible. Pretty small service counter that can see its two stations get backed up fast when crowded. I saw a really nice example of tactful customer service today. I stopped in around 10 AM to mail some of the newsletters I edit and stamp some outgoing mail. I overheard a transaction between one of the clerks and a customer whose credit card wasn't being accepted by the machine. Instead of routinely dismissing the guy with a curt "You're card's been rejected" (we've all seen that before, haven't we?) he very tactfully said something like "hmmm our computer isn't reading your card, it says there is some sort of error, you'd better check with your bank and make sure everything is OK, I'd hate to see you in the supermarket and have a problem if you're waiting to buy food for your family". I just thought he was very humane and considerate and handled an embarrassing situation in a stellar manner. Nice job !

It's an all brick, fairly large building, with a decent amount of parking spaces. The inside shows its age, but as long as the job is done, it doesn't matter. There were no customers waiting when I arrived. They had me fill out a customs form for my package, in the minute it took me to fill it out the line extended by two. Thankfully the wait was short. The two ladies working were pleasant enough, but I could tell, they'd rather be doing other things on this Saturday morning. Should you need to purchase packaging materials, tape, stamps, or greeting cards you can find them at this post office. They provided me with the tracking number, which I have shared with the recipient. This is a nice post office in town, that will satisfy your shipping needs.

I finally got on the schedule to present them to a "partner" physically, and I ended up at The Mail Room. It was a very cozy, intimate space for mailing and picking up and probably other things. Good vibes and nice employees. I was helped fairly quickly and on time with my appointment slot. We chatted a bit, and then I left to run more errands. Yes there's only two counters but the employees are astoundingly helpful. Today I watched one staff person go in back to dig up some empty small cardboard (nonpriority mail) boxes for a customer who came in with loose items to ship. Everyone involved acted as if this were perfectly normal. My jaw was the only one on the floor. The staff in other cities don't even talk to you unless your package is taped up and ready to go. I bet they'll even add extra tape to your package here without yelling at you. Thank you, amazing post office employees!
