Usually, packages I order I have delivered to my job, however, on January 30, 2018, I ordered a 25-lb snow blower from Amazon.com that I scheduled to pick up at a UPS Access Point location due to the weight of it. When placing an order through a representative, she assured me that it would be delivered via UPS. This was an important item because we had a horrendous snow storm that was coming in a few days predicting 6 inches to a foot of snow. This was an awful time for me because I had just lost my Mom on 1/17/18 and needed to make sure her house was plowed. I got notification through Amazon that the item was ready so I went to this store to pick up. I didn't know what I'd be facing when doing this. I told the young man at the counter that I was here to pick up a package and gave him my ID. He told me that he didn't have a package for me. I showed him proof through my phone app that the package had been delivered there. He looked around and then told me "Oh, there is a package that came from the post office and I opened it, is this yours?" I looked inside and lo and behold, the parts to the snow blower were in there. It was then that the chaos started. He told me we don't normally accept post office packages and you should be glad that I accepted it. I informed him that Amazon told me it would be through UPS. He told me that since it was shipped to his store and it's not UPS that he is not obligated to turn it over to me. When I tried to answer, he threatened to keep my package and told me to let him think about what he plans on doing. I explained to him that my dear Mom had just passed away and to please not treat me in this way, let me have my package and I will just go. He kept looking at my ID, knowing that the package was directly addressed to me. I know he was enjoying threatening me and giving me a hard time. When I tried to show him the name on the invoice to prove that it was me, he interrupted that attempt and told me "Just take this package before I change my mind". It was then I was just about in tears. There was a line of people so I guess he was happy that he had an audience to show this harassment. There was an gentleman who also worked at the store, watching the incident who felt sorry for me. He saw me as a woman trying to struggle with this package and he came to my rescue and told me he would carry it to my car. That was the only bright light to this story. I thank God for him. I will never step foot in that store again - no human should ever be treated with that much harassment, disrespect and rudeness over a simple shipment error from a business that wasn't my fault. I've been doing business with WDB Marketing since May 2007, after a few marketing companies & promo personalities was found to be lacking in several important business areas. Reliability, meeting time-date sensitive deadlines, creative passionate heart quality. WBD Marketing was so negotiable as to sync with my schedule that, of our first business transaction, that it was offered to meet up a location convenient to my traveling capabilities vs. coming out to the distant suburban office, in, order to receive my order. I took the offer & was blown away in the process! We've been going business ever since. WDB Marketing composed my first professional Entertainment Press Kit which has, & still is high rated even by other marketing professionals. "Who did your press-kit portfolio?! Excellent quality!" Core DJ Retreat, Atlanta, April 2009, commentating. Flyers, business cards, printing, street-team promotions, online marketing, graphic designs, advertising signs, websites, consultation etc.. you name it, WDB Marketing has proficient professionalized it! You can't really gain a concept of WBD Marketing mass wide prowess until a trip is taken out to the office. Both, Non-Entertainment to Entertainment Illinois suburbs, Chicago city, to outside states, "Wow! you did those flyers!, promoted that event!?, graphic designed that restaurant Grand Opening promo?!", the majority eye has seen WDB Marketing work, as they do half of the city of Chicago & Suburbs events work, but just have been unaware of it. WDB Marketing has a lot of long-term loyal clients, I being one of them, which was another important attraction for me, and that area is a mystery for most businesses and they fail to solve. If you're looking for a dedicated heart packaged with your marketing order... WDB Marketing.. is as good as it 100% gets without doubt or disappointment!

He shipped personal items (used clothes and personal belongings only), but the agent incorrectly declared the contents with completely false information and inflated values that did not belong to him (hundreds of clothing items and even unrelated goods). Because of this negligence, the shipment was: Misrouted internationally Delayed for over 2 months Subjected to excessive customs duties and investigations My friend had to visit this location over 50 times trying to fix the issue. Despite this, the staff initially refused to correct their mistakes and showed unprofessional and disrespectful behavior. The situation caused significant financial loss and extreme stress, affecting not only him but also his family overseas. Only after major escalation and confirmation from DHL abroad was the issue partially corrected -- clearly proving the error originated from this agent. The case has been formally escalated to multiple parties, including the Illinois Attorney General's Office, DHL offices in Florida, and DHL offices in Germany. All supporting documents and evidence have been submitted for official review. Additionally, there were serious concerns about inappropriate and potentially discriminatory remarks related to religious identity, which raises further questions about the professionalism and conduct of this location. This is not a small mistake. This is serious negligence that caused real damage. I strongly advise anyone to be extremely careful when dealing with this location.
