Don't make the mistake I did and try to be the first person in line in the morning. If you need a passport photo and there's a long line and only one person working, they won't do it. Why is there only one person working on a Monday morning, when there's always a long line? read more

Everyone who works there is super friendly and very helpful. There are a small store so they get a little busy but they're very quick.

The lady working here is mean. My first time here and I brought an eBay shipment and needed to measure and weigh the box to create a QR code to prepay for shipping in the app. The lady got mad at me that she has to measure the little box. She told me "Nobody does it this way they already have the QR code ready." She was irritated like it's the DMV. I gave it 2 stars because she did put the box in a bag at end. I did stay nice because I don't want my package to go missing but I will not come back to this place. Even the US post office has nicer more helpful people than this. read more

Linda was super helpful today in helping me get my package shipped. She was very friendly and answered all of my questions.

The heavy set hispanic lady, dark hair and glasses is extremely rude, unprofessional and distasteful. Doesnt greet you, throws receipts at you. Bad experience!! read more

Sent package at that location but the recipient never got the package. The staff attitude was rude and not helpful. I won't go there anymore. Very disappointed at this UPS. read more

This store needs to do better!!! How are you out of power on a Wednesday almost mid day already. Very inconvenient when it's the only store around. The employe instead of being on the phone with maintenance or what not just sitting down. read more

I had a very disappointing experience at this UPS Store due to their lack of attention and professionalism. I went there on a Sunday to ship a turbo. Since I didn't have a box, the employees sold me one and printed the shipping label. Everything appeared to be ready, and I was given a receipt confirming the transaction. However, a week later, the company I shipped the turbo to contacted me asking about the package, as they had never received it. When I returned to this UPS Store to resolve the issue, I was told they would look into it and call me back. It has now been more than eight days, and I have received no follow-up or assistance whatsoever. It is clear that the staff were distracted and not paying proper attention when handling my shipment. Because the label was never scanned, UPS records show that I never dropped off the package -- even though I have the receipt showing payment for the box and label. This experience shows a complete lack of responsibility and customer service. I do not recommend this location. read more

The place is very very bad. The attendants don't care about the customers at all! Once the guy charged me 10$ for printing a label and taping the return shipment box. They don't value the time of the customers and help us in any way. I would give them zero stars if there is an option. read more

The attendant was extremely rude and did not want to bother with my shipment simply because he had to scan every item. I did not get his name but he was a male Hispanic. read more

The level of unprofessionalism and disorganization has been ongoing. I was threatened by the owner with calling the police for trying to understand why I was required to come back the next day for a package that was already present. The staff consistently appears untrained and unclear on basic processes, which reflects poorly on the operation as a whole. read more

Very unprofessional. The Hispanic lady clerk had an attitude. Kind of made me feel like she was prejudice against African Americans. I would advise people to stay clear of this location. Also very unorganized. read more

They are very unorganized and rude total lack of customer service. Packages placed everywhere near the door entrance, emails and text are sent out stating Packages are ready for pickup when you arrive to the store the package can't be found. Then if you can't wait or return back to the store they suggest not to have items shipped there. I will never do business at this store the owner is the worst. read more

poor customer service! The representative was so focused on collecting my two dollars for tape she didn't scan my qr code. Then she just dropped my receipt. No thank you , nothing! I won't be back. read more

I was told to bring a box in to UPS. This was a cart that was delivered by UPS, broken three times. The third was an exchange for one of the broken ones. They wanted to charge me $10.00 to tape it, and also for a new box. I think that is silly given the fact that UPS delivered it broken three times. The manager then showed me the small print that I am supposed to tape and pack it up. It is UPS's fault for doing a crappy job with delivery. I had to load it in my car and drive it over.. considering it is a UPS store, I should not have to spend extra for for 2 pieces of tape. read more

They close early and if there's a large package they offer nothing to help move it out of the store. Also they say nothing when you enter. You will just be standing like an idiot in the middle of the store read more

I have experienced ridiculous services on 5/31/2024 around 10:39 a.m. at this UPS location. I didn't use the tape and a lady said the tape will charge $2. When I try to scan the barcode and that bad service lady told the guy to charge me $2 for the tape. I said I didn't use the tape. I can see that's how UPS staff provide services to the customer. She didn't ask me if I use the tape or not she just asked the guy to charge me $2 for the tape. I think that bad service lady is discrimination. I will not recommend my friend or family to use this location UPS. read more

Horrible horrific experience. Walked in and already felt negative vibes of this place. Moment Walk in Hispanic girl rude customer service and have no customer service experience. Wasn't doing nothing and moment she saw me pretended to do something, People in line and other employee we just seating there doing nothing. This place is trash read more

Shred confidential documents in bulk!!! $1 per pound! I broke the shredder and I was perplexed on how to destroy so much paperwork. UPS works with Shred Nations Service, but call This UPS Store for CORRECT info. SN sent me downtown when this place was a few blocks away! Carlos M. is an exemplary employee and this is the 2nd time he's done NOTARY PUBLIC services for me. I was working with elderly family and he was patient and thorough, and knowledgeable. You can make a donation $ to Toys For Tots and they will give you a receipt for tax deductions. Please show love this holiday season...remember the joy of opening a gift?!!! I was disappointed they do Not stock enough paper/card stock in bright /neon colors like the FedEx store. You use your credit card to print from your memory stick, unfortunately I didn't pay attention to pricing...for anything. The good thing, I used so many services today, it was worth whatever I paid, so CONVENIENT, one stop shop!!! Everyone is so nice and helpful. They offer many services, see my photo. Street parking, and 15 blinker parking in front. read more

The UPS Store - So convenient! - Shipping Centers Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Regardless of scheduling an appointment, you will not be received at that time. "Call if you have any questions" Don't take any information online because more than likely it's inaccurate according to the manager. read more

The owner of the Bridgeport UPS store overcharges for notary services - prices vary from customer to customer and are 7 or 8 times higher than standard rates in Chicago. I find the stores practices to be treacherous. The owner charged me $36 to notarize a simple, two page document. The notary service was $35 plus $1.00 per signature line. My friend was charged $15 for same service one week earlier. The UPS store in Lake Meadows Shopping Center charges flat rate $5 per notary service and UPS store at 308 S. Jefferson charges flat rate $4 per notary service. The customer service at both of these locations is excellent. There is no concern for customer service at the Bridgeport UPS. read more

Love this place, always welcoming and the employees are wonderful! Immediately greeted, and helped out appropriately!!!

Can't seem to catch a break here, they advertise notary services, however the couple of times I've stopped in the notary isn't there. I don't know, but in my opinion if you advertise a service it should be available during your business hours. Or, you need to put a little asterisk and say, "not all hours, call first." Another option would be to get one or two other people to become notaries, it's not hard. I've sent packages a couple of times too, I gave them all my info and it gets saved in the system. Although, that was done incorrectly, when I gave them my phone number I came up in the system, however my address ended up being the person I last sent an envelope to, and everything had to be reentered. Well, if saving it in the system was meant to save time, it didn't. I will agree with some of the other reviews, the folks are nice enough, but I really just need to get stuff accomplished in a timely manner. Nice is a bonus, but it doesn't get my stuff done. read more

The staff is extremely helpful and efficient.... I find that anything I'm doing there is always promptly taken care of...

Original Review: This is less than a block away from my business, but service is grossly inferior to every other location. I wouldn't recommend it and won't go back. Also, practically all day long, there is a UPS truck double parked RIGHT NEXT TO AN EMPTY PARKING SPACE, blocking part of the regular traffic lane on Halsted and 100% of the bike lane. Updated Review: The store says that "UPS drivers are on very tight schedules," which is true but doesn't help their case. "Tight schedules" is their excuse for constantly parking illegally in front of this business and blocking traffic. They won't take an extra 5 seconds to pull to the curb, and management at this store doesn't care. Heck, when I drove by there this morning, a UPS truck was parked blocking both the southbound bike lane and the entrance to the POLICE STATION parking garage, only 5' away from a legal parking space. Talk about blatant disregard for the law! Halsted is very narrow relative to traffic volume, so this is a serious issue that this business obviously doesn't take seriously. read more

I've had to come here various times over the years. Service is always friendly, and it's usually not busy. But when it does get busy, they don't have a good control over the line. It's kind of everyone for themselves, multiple lines kind of thing. Even then, I've never had a long wait. Plus they have candy bins there for free so you can snack while you wait. They don't blow you out of the water, but they do everything you need and make sure it's nice and friendly while you wait. read more

I've always had great customer service at this store. Some of the people who work here have been working here for a long time and it is nice to see familiar and smiling faces. There may be a line, especially near the holidays, but they really helped me choose the best packaging and cheapest option to ship out some holiday cookies and gifts. Appreciate this establishment in Bridgeport ! Easy street pay to park, or u can put on your hazards and quickly step in and out lol read more

Shipped a mannequin with Carlos... he is a shipping expert!! He spent a lot of time explaining to me what he was doing and why the heck the process costs so much. The vintage mannequin is a large, unusually shaped fiber glass item that I was determined not to have damaged. I can say Carlos was my guy. He is easy going and good at customer service. Everyone at this location is well trained and friendly. I recommend shipping here! I almost forgot to mention... Carlos followed up with a call to make sure we had the information we needed for tracking. Thanks Carlos!! read more

CARLOS SAVED THE DAY!!!!! Apparently these folks just opened, and let me tell you, as a business owner myself, I am INCREDIBLY impressed with their service!!!!! If you want to be dealt with as a VALUED customer...go....run here... They just do things RIGHT. I called this store after a VERY bad experience at a neighboring UPS store, and I honestly did not expect much... Carlos blew me away with his willingness to help! Not only did he offer to match pricing (without me even asking!!!), he said he would turn around ASAP the same day (the other store failed even in DOUBLE the time promised) and even said since I was 8 months pregnant and in the neighborhood, he could get someone to deliver my order!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING?! To be honest, i was stunned at such great service!!!! I am SO SO excited I found these folks! THANK YOU CARLOS for making my week! :) read more

Carlos and his team provide outstanding customer service. I couldn't have been happier with my experience and this was during the Covid-19 lock down. I needed to find an unorthodox way to perform shipments for my company due to the stay at home order. Carlos took the time to go over every item as well insurance offerings, which was of great relief to this inexperienced shipper. His calm demeanor during the process was quite welcoming especially given the circumstances. I'm definitely thankful to have community driven businesses in my neighborhood and Carlos' UPS Store is definitely one of them. In the end all packages arrived as expected, some even sooner. Thank you Carlos and team! This is my first and only review on yelp or any other site. It was the least I could do after having such a pleasant experience while doing something I was dreading during these unprecedented times. read more

tldr; Fraudulent pricing, denial of responsibility, shipping through USPS is just a 50 dollar service to drop it off two miles away at best, $50 to lose your package at worst. Went to this location to ship an envelope overseas, and was recommended to and grossly overcharged for a USPS service, to the tune of $80 for a service advertised at $31 at USPS. To add insult to injury the envelope was lost, with both UPS and USPS blaming the other. At the end of the day paid 80 bucks for an important lesson on how not to ship. Came back for the last time Aug 9, each and every time I raised the issue the problem is immediately with USPS, not them. Treated me as a "second rate" customer for picking the "cheaper" service, which was only like 10-20 bucks below the more expensive options. FTC complaint filed, if damage caused by missing documents worth it, might be a court date in the near future. read more

The staff here are the nicest, friendliest people I have ever met. They are incredibly helpful when you need to mail something or need help. And even during busy times, they always smile and greet you when you come through the door. My husband and I have had a box here for a couple of years now, so we visit on a regular basis. We love having an address to ship to that has more security and reliability than the box provided for the building we live in. I definitely recommend using the services at this location. read more
