I just left the store, and the employee James was extremely rude. I do not recommend going here if you value even basic customer service. Here is what happened: I asked James how much a box was, and he responded that the price should be on it. It was not, which is why I asked in the first place. He told me to bring it to him, speaking in a condescending tone. I handed him the box, and when he couldn't find the price either, he yelled across the store to another employee to ask. I told him I wanted to purchase the box and also use it to mail something. I was unable to open the box myself, so he took it and tried to open it for me, but ended up damaging it. I mentioned that it was now damaged, and he replied that he would tape it. He then asked me for my address and the address I was mailing the item to. After telling me the price, I inserted my credit card into the machine. The screen displayed "amount owed: $0.00," and he handed me what I assumed was the receipt. I said thank you, as I was raised to be polite, and started putting my card away. Suddenly, he yelled, "You have to pay for that!" I was confused and embarrassed, especially since other customers were in the store. I had no reason to think I had not paid, since he handed me a receipt without any explanation. The way he raised his voice made it feel like I was being accused of trying to take something without paying. It was an uncomfortable and humiliating experience, and I will never return. read more

I frequent this UPS at least once a week and for the most part they are quick and helpful, But there's a middle aged woman who's there sometimes and has given me a problem every time I have to deal with her. Today I went in and I had packages to return she told me I could set them down on the counter. Well I told her that I was ok and I have them in order it was fine she reaches over the counter to take the packages away from me I tried to back away but she pulled it right out of my arms by then I'm aggravated but I don't say anything so I reach to pick my phone off the counter and show her the scan it didn't take the first 2 times so once again she snatched my phone out of my hand. Now really what was the reason for that. I waited my turn patiently I was so stunned I took my receipt and left. Next time I will make a scene as she does with me. read more

Could not believe how efficient this staff was! I walked in for a quick Amazon return and to buy some stamps, if they had them - which they did! The line was about 8 people, and I thought I'd be there forever. But they have a fantastic system, and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes. I'm in NC, so this location at Hanbury off 168 is a perfect side stop for me, and I can combine errands with Harris Teeter, Navy Federal, and Petco! I had always gone to the UPS store in Greenbrier (2 stars) because I didn't know about this one. This shopping center also has Walgreens, Massage Envy, a nail salon, 7/11 with fuel pumps, and more - great find once again, thanks to Yelp! read more

Located in the Hanbury Village shopping center, the UPS store stays busy with a steady flow of customers. The staff is awesome and super helpful. I used to process my orders a certain way, but one of the guys there explained to me how to do it more efficiently and for less the cost. Now I place the orders online and pay, so all I need to do is go and pick it up. I'm in and out! Store is always kept clean and stocked with supplies. They have a commercial copier and a computer in the back in case you need to use it or access something to print (there is a charge for usage though). I see customers come in with their Amazon boxes often. Amazon returns are super easy at UPS stores, so no wonder. They have special hours for the holidays, so plan accordingly (pics attached). Truly enjoy this store! The staff is always so nice and helpful. They all do their jobs so well! And have a lot of knowledge! They have helped us plenty of times when we didn't understand. We have also been able to use the community computer towards the back of the store to search a email to print. They also have a little card sections you can buy from and some little gift bags. There are days the line is out the door but they work hard and fast to help every customer! read more

The Store is in a good location and has great employees. However, I recommend getting your receipt when returning an item. I ended up eating a return to Amazon because of that. Lastly, pushy customers are not waiting in line like normal people, and the employees not saying anything to them is BS. read more

Megan the owner of this store arrange to ship my dining room table for $800. When the people came to pick it up, they showed up in a Nissan Xterra that was barely big enough to hold the table. One of the workmen was Fred her husband. Once he had the table crammed into his personal vehicle not UPS vehicle, he refused to give a receipt or show any proof of insurance or identification showing they actually worked for the UPS Store. Completely unprofessional and rude, wasted 3 weeks of my life thank God I didn't spend any money there. Avoid like the plague! read more

One of my favorite places to ship my packages from. Even during the busy holiday season they do their best to get to people quickly to help them get their packages or other services done so their customers can continue on their way. Sent package for next day air to Florida. When I checked to see why it wasn't delivered next day.....I saw it was headed in the opposite direction of where it was supposed to go. I call this ups store and they refused to give me refund. I call main office and they gave me a refund minus the shipping cost to mail it from where they had messed up sending it, to Florida. I like to use UPS stores as an alternative to USPS offices for a better service and secure shipping. Unfortunately, I experienced a serious problem with preparing my shipment via this UPS Store in Hanbury. A wrong shipping label was created delaying the shipment of my package, a non-existent tracking number was given, and I was unable to track my international package. In addition, the information on the customs form was guessed by the customer service associate, thus providing inaccurate information about my package. I had to rely on a prayer for my package to be delivered since I could not rely on the work done by this UPS location. I asked for a partial refund for a bad customer service I received. The response by the manager/owner of this store was varying from no contact, hung up phone in the middle of a phone conversation, to a threat to be thrown out by the police. Oh, I was also offered to talk to the manager's husband (felt like we are back in 1950's). The costs for international shipments at this store are astronomic as well. Most of the time they add 100% additional costs for shipping when processing shipments through USPS, but I have experienced the added costs to be as high as 1200% on top of the actual shipping costs. (I am not kidding !!) This really is not a customer friendly or wallet friendly store. The main focus at this UPS location is to do as little as possible and to make as much money as possible.
