Today 1-25-2022, The UPS store had a two star rating. I mentioned to my friend that it was a great location because we were in the area, let's take a chance. I had a great experience. My friend needed a document notarized-Done! He also needed to make a copy-Done! He needed to buy stamps-Done! The UPS store had cute birthday cards! Stay away from this place. There is a crazy guy with a foreign accent who when you ask him why he needs to know the size of the bicycle innertube you are returning explodes and tells you he doesn't work for Amazon, although he's supposed to take returns for them, and hangs up. Anyone who loses his temper like that over nothing should never work with the public. Stay away from this idiot. read more

Terrible service and i recommend going elsewhere! I was treated rudely and told to "move" by the older man who works here. Went in one day for notary was courteously greeted and done within minutes. another day We brought 10 boxes 150 lbs to ship ground They offered to weigh and label everything. They were literally loading it on the truck within minutes read more

If I could leave ZERO stars I would. Just left the store and had to look up reviews to see if how I was treated was a common thread or if I was truly 'harassing' them, as the elderly man accused me of! Glad to see it's not just me! I guess asking to take pictures of electronics you are sending back to your company is harrassing! I had a pre labeled package to drop off. I took it to the UPS Store. I stood in a line for 10 min. Just to be rudely told to take my package to the post office. I don't know why he wouldn't take the package as it had a prepaid label and the mail carriers pick up from the UPS store. Like I said I've dropped off pre labeled packages as well as mail here before. I recommend using a different UPS store. read more

Just a regular UPS store. All I was doing was dropping off a package, so I didn't really have to interact with anyone. However, the man I did interact with wasn't very friendly. All in all, pretty easy to find, lots of nearby parking, and I was in and out in a minute. read more

I took my Amazon return here and more than a week later it's not been shipped or refunded. I called to ask why it hasn't been picked up and all the owner kept saying was that there was nothing they could do but hold on to my receipt. I then went back to the UPS store with my receipt, and they would not even look at it. They went out of their way to be unhelpful, basically saying that they cannot do anything, even though this store was the last place my items were. They do not explain anything, just shoo you away. I recently moved to Camarillo and today I went into this UPS store for the third and last time. It appears to be a family owned business. No one will smile or are friendly however, they will be rude and curt barely raising their voice so you can hear them. The female mother of the family was so rude today. I brought in an Amazon return and she said I need box without explaining and that I have to buy a box to return because she is running a business! Her husband chimed in and started yelling. The most reaction I've yet to see from these people and I left informing them this is not how you run a business and I would not be back. They don't care and I don't care to give them any further business. Not a good look for parents to act like that in front of their children. Oh, they don't care because they are growing up just like Mom and Dad. I will driving a little further now so I may have a pleasant encounter. read more

I wish I would have read the Yelp reviews before trying to ship. I would have to echo everything said and wish there was a way to rate them less than one star. Without going into detail, the owner called me a racist when I questioned his pricing. He then called me every expletive he could... It probably didn't help that I started laughing. He then questioned my education... I laughed some more. I have family members from his country of origin, which he had no clue of. I hold a green card and am blessed to call the USA home. I ended up shipping through the USPS at about 1/3 of what he was trying to overcharge me. Long story short... AVOID THIS UPS STORE AT ANY COST!!! read more

Popped in here to use the stores live scan fingerprint scan as its required to complete my real estate license application. The store itself is pretty standard compared to other shipping and mail stores, but appeared very disorganized. The service was quite slow and the employees seemed either very rushed ir with no sense of urgency at all. The girl who helped me eventually warmed up and helped me complete the scan. However, the price is much higher than other businesses who offer the live scan. If I wasnt crunched by time I would have definitely went somewhere else. I cannot comment on their shipping services and costs as i did not use their services for that. read more

Wished I had read the reviews first.... I'm a lady close to 80 and cared in a box way to heavy to put on their tall table so put it on the counter not being used, you could tell he was not pleased. I had another box setting on the tall table and with an angry voice he said, "put it on the scales". When I question the receipt if it had 2 packages on it again he said "can't you see it at the top". Like everyone else opinion, HE is rude as a business man in Camarillo. There was a power outage: I walk in, they have a sign that says power is down nothing is working. I have a drop off package. I only asked for a receipt of some sort. The reason for the one star. Is he raised his voice and told me, HOW CAN I GIVE YOU A RECEIPT!!! I said paper and pen will work for me. He realized he raised his voice and later he said, just come back later. UPDATE. Do NOT , I repeat, DO NOT get anything notarized here. The owner of the store notarized papers for us that were essential to selling some real estate. He was abrupt, arrogant, and over charged us. (See below)18 days later, we learned he did not complete his duties properly, so all the documents had to be re-done. When we called to request his assistance, he flew into a rage, refusing to fix the problem he caused. Our sale is delayed thanks to the guys incompetence. He should NOT be a notary. Original review: Do NOT take your business here. Drive twenty miles, buy a cup of coffee, hell, buy yourself breakfast for two, and you'll be money in the bank compared to this scam artist. This UPS store charges you for every little part of what should be (and is at other UPS stores) regular customer service! We brought in a small 10"x4" box and she was going to charge us $1.00 to put a piece of tape on it to seal it closed! Are you kidding me?! We normally use the one on Verdugo Way in Mission Oaks of Camarillo and they are wonderful!!! They treat you like family and help you with whatever you need, not nickel and dime you for everything . Stopped in to send out a letter. Jeannette had to redo the label FOUR times because she kept spelling the recipients name incorrectly. I wrote it out in block letters and she still kept getting it wrong. Before completing the transaction I asked to review the label. She was clearly annoyed by this. Really?! I'm spending $27 to send a letter and I expect the recipients name to be correct. I don't think that is unreasonable. At the end of the transaction all I got was a snotty look, and a label slapped on to the envelope. Happy Holidays to you too! NOT. Clearly a UPS 101 refresher course is needed before the more challenging requests of the holidays get here! I will be spending my money at Fed Ex while they learn the alphabet. read more

The customer service here is very poor. The associates were no help at all when I was trying to resolve an issue.

I have been using this store for years (even before they moved to their current location). The service has always been excellent. Nicole and the tall young man (whose name I forget right now) have always been attentive to my needs, friendly and smiling. I understand what others are saying about the owner, but he is just not an outgoing fella. I have no issues with him and he has always served me well. Bottom line the service I need is always accomplished without hassle. I'm very pleased to have a UPS Store so conveniently located for me to use. I dropped off a packet of papers to this store 8 days ago for delivery. It still hasn't arrived to the destination. I didn't get tracking so when I called this store to ask what was going on, all the guy had to say was take it up with the US postal service, not our problem. This UPS store was given a painting to ship to Northern California. There packaging was so poor that it damaged the glass and frame. We we charged $106.57 for a one way trip. We still have to have the painting repaired. DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!! All they are concerned with is making a quick sale, it's obvious they take shortcuts with their packing materials to save money. If you value the item you are mailing, use another shipping service.
