A reliable UPS store in Brooklyn Heights! UPS is my preferred method of post and I'm glad to have a store in the hood. I've been here a handful of times, and I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to mail a package. Super quick, easy, and efficient service. Not a ton of office supplies like FedEx usually has, but it looks like they have a couple computers and printers in the store also. UPS might cost a few bucks extra, but it's still my go to spot for anything mail/package related! read more

Bad service. As others have noted, there is generally only one person helping customers despite the presence of at least one other employee in the store. Leads to long lines, and the employees' demeanor vacillates between total disinterested and mildly obnoxious. read more

Terrible service. Lines out the door, two employees go on break. Fax is broken, no sign up, they don't care that you waited on line. The location needs to get it together. read more

A horrible customer service experience that devolved in to "F" bombs from a person who idendified herself as the manager and from there we moved on to racist and ageist comments. Bizzaro ! read more

Most of the time there are 2 workers, one at the counter and one texting. I asked if he was busy and he just looked at me and continued his personal business. I brought a small package and a label, he rudely said what do you want me to do with this, I said I would like to send this he said a dollar for a piece of tape. Really $1 for one piece of tape, he said YAH. I said I guess I will go else where. He went out of his way to be unhelpful and unpleasant. He never greeted or acknowledged me and acted as if he's doing me a favor by serving me. Simply all around a miserable store. Who owns this store because they don't care about customer service, but they make a lot of money. maybe time for a boycot. read more

Often a line and 1 person working so it can get backed up but the workers are usually pretty efficient They do charge for them to use a piece of tape. For example, i needed 1 more piece across and they charged me a few bucks. I understand if they had to package an entire box. But for 1 piece? That's pretty lame in my opinion and petty by either the management or employees read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

Arrived at 8:58. Opened at 9:00. Was the 10th person online. Out by 9:17. Not bad. Very efficient.

I appreciate having this place as an option. Staff are friendly, customer focused, and efficient - even when Corporate seems intent on maintining understaffing to save some coins for themselves. read more

I go this store regularly, and there is one staffer here who seems to go out of her way to be unhelpful and unpleasant. She never greets or acknowledges customers and acts as if she's doing you a favor by serving you. Simply all around miserable. The rest of the staff are nice and try to be helpful, which bumped my rating up to 2. So. go if you need to, but try to have one of the nice people serve you! read more

The team at the Montague Street UPS is top notch. Supportive, funny, kind and great at their job. Kiki, Ellen and Marcia, and the rest of the team were so helpful at a crucial time for me and my family. (closing up, and shipping out a deceased family members apartment) Thank you so much! The Heights is lucky to have you! read more

Honestly, I've really tried to be patient and understanding as things got really hairy with shipping and returns during Covid, but three years later there are still lines out the door. And to make matters worse about one person who works in there is nice, and I haven't seen him in a while. I'm sure it's not the most enthralling place to work but good God I try to make conversation, be polite, etc and it's like talking to a wall. A miserable one. read more

The UPS Store - A Tues afternoon with one person.ringing. - Shipping Centers Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

The woman at the desk was a huge help! I didn't get her name but I had a return and the company sent me a return label that was a massive jmage instead of a normal size PDF. I was convinced I couldn't make the return but after I explained the staff person said she's seen it before and said she can make it work. Such a relief! I really appreciated her willingness to help. read more

Miserable customer service, frequently opens late. No one ever smiles here... clearly it's forbidden. just such a damn chore to come here. And there's a flight of stairs to boot. Just go to an Amazon store or Careland Pharmacy on Clark Street. read more

No issues ever with packages at this store, but UPS needs to give their employees good working air conditioner or fans at the very least. It's amazing the employees here don't lose their cool with systems not working properly, long lines, and being so hot inside. All of the employees here are great, and you can tell they work so hard! read more

The store was small but efficient long line. quick service definitely expect to see and wait on the line read more

I always use this UPS location to mail any and all packages. It's about as good as it gets for a small, neighborhood Mail center. It's not the prettiest (and climbing the few stairs when I have a really heavy box isn't the most convenient), but the personnel has always been nice and as efficient as possible. Last time I went, the delivery driver was about to pull away but stopped, helped me with my box up the stairs, and waited for me to get checked out! I certainly didn't expect him to wait for me, but it was certainly appreciated. read more

The negative reviews below are all ridiculous. I use this store all the time and they're great. The lines tend to be long and they do a good job moving everything along. If you're going to complain about paying $1 for tape, then don't go to a UPS at all -- anywhere. It's also not their responsibility to entertain you or make you feel better about notarizing your divorce papers. Get over yourselves. read more

I entered this store on the worst day of my life. I needed to print out and notarize both divorce paperwork and a severance contract and some copies of my resume. After printing my resume in color, I go to print the divorce paperwork. I realize after I hit print that I didn't change the setting to black and white. I hit cancel. The computer stalls. It prints all 25 pages of a black and white contract as color, charging me nearly $15 extra. They refused to refund me because one of the pages had a blue hyperlink on it. I show him both my severance and divorce paperwork and asked if he could please cut me some slack because the $15 wasn't something I could afford. He refused again and said they wouldn't refund for user error. I called the UPS corporate office who agreed to file a complaint, but they warned me the person who helped me shared the last name of the owner of the store. read more

I have only had good experiences with this UPS store. I notice that their rating is low, and thought I would add my experiences just because their current rating doesn't match my experience. The staff are always friendly. They seem a little overwhelmed at times by the traffic in the store, but they always greet me with a smile and get to my packages without too much delay. (NOTE: I have had no experience with their in store mail box service.) read more

Monday: I walk in to mail urgent paperwork overnight to my sister. The transaction is completed with no apparent issues. Scheduled arrival time is Tuesday by noon for $22. Tuesday: The overnight envelope does not arrive. I track the package at night, it says it went to the UPS destination near my sister, but was not delivered. Wednesday 10 a.m.: I call this UPS Store where it left from. "Oh, I will check into it and call you back. Is this your number? OK, I will call you back in ten minutes." Wednesday 3 p.m.: I call this UPS Store again. "Oh, what's the tracking number again? OK, I will check into it and call you back. Yes, you will get refunded, but there is a process." Wednesday 9 p.m.: Still no return call from this store and no delivery made, confirmed or any information given on where the hell the envelope is. It is now 33 hours late and cost $22 to send. If I hired Snoop Dogg to call tomorrow, it might go a little something like this: UPS Store: Hello. Snoop: Knock, knock. UPS Store: Who's there? Snoop: Deez nuts. read more

Ups just sucks always unreliable DONT BE mad UPS is Hiring like for real the need help lazy workers you get what you pay for well not if your sending something in the mail I'm waiting 3 days can't give me a time not even a 3 hour window waited home from work 3 days now nothing just changed and said Monday will be delivered I called Home Depot and told them keep It done with you ups never have this problem with fed ex or usps . yOU suck the worst I give them minus 5 stars read more

This place has saved me dozens of hours of work and they are great. First, everyone I've met who is employed there is great. I often call-in to ask mail be forwarded to a different location for a week or two and they handle it in about 2 minutes. I am not aware that any mail has every been lost or misdirected from the UPS Store. Meanwhile, we had a PO Box at the 11201 Post Office (zip code 11202) and half our mail seemed to be randomly returned to sender. This store is worth every penny and you'll be impressed by the service and their attention to detail. I love it. read more

Great and fast service, most professional that I ever seen. Thank you for making everything so simple for me but some free coffee would make it perfect woohooo maybe next time read more

This young man does not want to be here, I placed pkge on counter , it's obvious it's a return and he ask me what I want and ask me if I want a receipt. I was hesitant to use this location because of the reviews on Yelp. I'm glad I went with my instinct! This shipping office went above and beyond for me without any prompting on my part. They were very friendly and professional when I initially contacted them, but the icing on the cake was when they contacted me and even sent a photo of my painting to make sure it was the right one because the lady at the pickup location (I'm in Texas and needed a painting picked up, packaged and shipped from Brooklyn Heights) wasn't sure she was giving them the right one. Then the final price was even less than originally quoted. Nice! I just want to say that my instinct paid off. Olivier and Brian did a fabulous job of providing top notch service! A sincere thank you!!! I have used many shipping services for pick up, package, and deliver, and this one ranks #1 on my list! read more

I had Giancarlo (and a lovely spunky girl eating a salad) help me today. I have to get a package cross-country and with a holiday weekend looming, I wasnt sure if ground would get it there on time. Giancarlo was helpful - saving me $25 by getting it there on a Thurs instead of a Wed... I was quite appreciative of his savviness and thanked him - also wanted to acknowledge it here to you yelpers so you can rest assured that he'll take good care of you as well. read more

I was cutting it really close to a deadline -- got to the store AFTER the truck was scheduled to leave with the ground shipments for the day. I had called ahead to see if they could hold the truck -- I really needed my box to leave with it -- the employees and driver were incredibly gracious and patient with me, got the forms filled out and helped me finish taping up the box in time for the driver to grab it and take it with him on the truck (35 minutes after he was scheduled to leave!!!). I would've been completely screwed if they hadn't been so nice -- in NYC, it's often every man for himself, especially when it comes to the shipping world -- because everyone's got a deadline, and they can't accomodate everyone. So -- I was extra stoked on their level of customer service. read more

I read about your store not following the opening time as advertised. Today I called at 10.20 am(Saturday) and sure enough no one was there to pick up the phone and I am assuming no one was there. I could have brought my item and have to wait. My advice to the store manager is that he should change the opening hour to a time they can keep. It is strictly unprofessional to advertised the opening time and not following it. It is very inconvenient having to carry back or wait for your store to open even though one arrived at store opening hour as was advertised. Always call first to make sure they are open is my advice. read more

I primarily use this store for the many Amazon returns that my family makes but also for any shipping that I have to do. The staff here is terrific. I wish I could RETURN TO SENDER this customer service. Everyone seems to be in a terrible mood, they're more PO'd than PO Boxed. Skip this location if you can, I give it the STAMP of disapproval. read more

UPS can do better than this. Needed to find a box to ship an item - staff was not helpful at all. First, I stood there for almost 10min before even acknowledging I was there, then ignoring me several more minutes after I asked a question. It looked like they were more interested in texting on their phones than serving customers. No good. Find another one, or stop by Fedex on Court Street. read more

I went there today. The store is organized and calm. The workers in the store are nice and polite. They gave me enough instruction about printing/ packing and sending out parcels. The whole assignment had been done within minutes. Pretty satisfied with the service there. read more

Unprofessional and childish. Don't go. Coming here on several occasion for proximity reasons, prices and explanation behind pricing are so often different depending on who you are speaking too. All the staff seem tired, non-motivated and so childish. Every opportunity seem to be welcome for a team joke. I decided to definitely walk few more blocks for proper services. read more

Lots of shipping options so pricing is reasonable. They have a lot of packing supplies for sale, too.

The staff at UPS Store on Montague Street are always extremely professional and unfailingly cheerful and helpful. I have always had good experiences with this UPS location. The staff seems well informed, friendly, service is quick, and the staff seems to work well together.
