This is a great store to use if you are ever shipping out large boxes greater than 30 x 30 x 30 and beyond all the way to the point when you have to crate the items. My business does A LOT of shipping the requires liftgates, more than 2 people to help out with deliveries and pick-ups and a scale that can tell me exactly how much it weighs. This is probably my 11th? time shipping with these folks and it just gets better and better everytime I come in. I dropped in one day to ship out a chair, one painting and 4-5 luggage that needed to be shipped right away to Florida. First off the chair, once I presented the chair to the employee who was working with me he told me that he would have to ask his manager to give the estimate of how much it'll cost to pack. The manager came out, took the dimensions and gave the exact price of how much it'll cost to pack inside the store. I thought it would come out to at least a hundred dollars (because it was furniture) but it actually came out 3/4 which was totally fine with me. He also added that since I'm a many-time-returning-customer he would add extra padding using cardboard and Styrofoam packs. What can I say? I was smiling. So the chair was done and the shipping label was printed. The painting there's not much to say it's just a simple packaging with bubble wraps and Styrofoam peanuts in between the item and the cardboard box. Once again.. just when the employee was about to print out the label, the manager told me instead of using bubble wraps and peanuts, he will use extra double-wall cardboards plus the same Styrofoam packs that will be used to the chair. I have no doubt that this painting will get ruined. It's obvious that it'll get there in one piece. Lastly with the luggage is what amazed me and the service provided here was wayyyyy above what normal postal office and FedEx can offer. Each luggage was at least 130 pounds and probably weighed up to 180 (when I measured at my business). Now the first luggage only came out to be 120 and was slapped on the label and off to its destination. The last three luggages were all above 150. The employee told me their scales can only measure up to 150. I mentioned about my experience with postal office and FedEx how their scales go up the same. Once again, once again.. the manager who I thought was about to take his lunch came back out with a same size scale that we were using and measured the luggages. It worked! I don't know how he had done it, but it was accurate! Everything was accurate down to the decimal point and when the UPS driver came by to measure it on his scale inside the truck came up with the same weight! About a week later I got a call from Florida. I asked them how the items were shipped. The business owner in Florida told me everything arrived safely, but the box that had the painting inside.. there was a small hole that looked as if someone just threw a random punch. He told me in his past that paintings were packed in bubble wrap and when he would receive them, most of them were damaged. This package was packed with foams. If the manager had not recommended the styrofoam packs, this painting could've been broken in half and I probably would've paid out of my own pocket to replace the item. I was amazed how these people at UPS on Arapahoe were just ready for anything that the customers threw at them randomly. I was also thankful that the manager remembered me and offered me his personal help into all of my packages. What can I say folks? Other than a woohoo! as good as it gets! What can I say more? It's perfect! Do I get this kind of service from a postal office? No I don't think so. Postal office has 3 computers with only 1 staff taking his time with every customers when there's a line of 40 people. FedEx? Let me tell you folks it's not worth it. read more

THEY DON'T RESPECT THE ADA. This dog has been to Tennessee three times for a week at a time to train for his service, it's not just an emotional support animal. He was scheduled for graduation from training in March, but COVID-19 had paused that for now. Either way, the dog's behavior was never actually in question, just the owner and his son's behavior. Preface: upon stepping one foot inside the door, the young guy who calls the cops on me had immediately yelled at me to take my "pet" out of the store. I walked into hostility. Then I said he was a service dog. They immediately demanded documentation, citing some DoJ release. I asked to see it and they refused. That's when I started recording a video which I've posted on their fb page, their fb review page, and my Facebook page. You can go there if you want to see first-hand how these jerks run this establishment. I went outside at the end of this video. The owner (the little old man) wanted to come out and take pics of my license plates. I told them my name and that I'd definitely be waiting because I WANTED to speak to the cops. The cops show up. I tell them I was yelling because I was initially yelled at and that I also cussed, but other than that, I believed these people were wrong. One cop told me that he agreed to my understanding of the ADA to his knowledge and offered to go in and do any business needed done for me. I stated I'd do it elsewhere after our encounter and he found me an alternate location. After going in and questioning the owner about this DoJ paper, the other cop came back outside saying the owner stated that Popeye didn't have a vest on. You can CLEARLY see the vest in the video. It was clearly his way of backing out of his story, which I stated to the cops. I apologized to the cops for taking their time. They told me numerous times that I had a right to be upset and that I didn't do anything wrong. They told me to have a great day and went on their way. The whole time, Popeye(my SD) was facing the door and pulling on his leash insistently. When we got out to the parking lot, he gave me deep pressure on my thighs while I talked to the cops. I love this dog. I have to say, the one other upsetting occurrence was another customer and the Caucasian employee which is probably the same one mentioned in other reviews around here, yelling at me to just leave. I was being denied access because of a medical device and these dudes side with the rule-breakers because they're annoyed(or judging from these other reviews, clearly just an asshole). I hate people. Fuck the UPS Store at the Sunrise Center on 30th and Arapahoe in Boulder. read more

This will be my 19th review for the UPS stores. I don't know. Maybe you can call me UPS geek, UPS freak, UPS inspector FOR the customers in general, UPS lover I don't care. They deserve this 5 star this day. It's totally different than FedEx office that makes you take apart your package just to see if you had packed it correctly. If you haven't they have to charge you. It's totally different than USPS a.k.a. postal office on valmont ran by the arrogant supervisor named James that mails your package and gets delivered not only in the wrong address but a month later as well (within U.S.). This UPS store stands out among the other two competitors. I don't know what all the fuss is about but these guys are well-trained. They're on top of it. You might send out a package through UPS and it might get there a day or two late due to weather conditions or other holiday reasons, but what I'm about to tell you is their promotion called "Pack & Ship Guarantee" basically.. whatever you have them package and ship out, you're covered for any loss or damage. It's just make you feel better inside you know? You don't have to insure anything because I know that not the UPS store, but UPS will give my money back in full to a drop of penny if something goes wrong. I value their promotion and their service. It's so good. I probably shipped out 9 packages last week and out of the 9 only 1 of them gets a little bit torn up and goes under a claim. Now if this was FedEx or USPS, they wouldn't care shit and tell you to walk out. They don't care how many customers they get.... As soon as I got a call from my customer, I called up UPS to get this taken care of. The manager there was so on top of his job, Mr. Steve who told me that I was under their promotion Pack & Ship Guarantee and that in about 2 weeks, I would get a check from UPS, paid in full. I was. Not a single penny left out from both shipping and packaging. It's trustworthy and respect that comes out from this store. It's business. Give & Take process that just needs a little bit of time to develope. Anywhere I go, UPS store is the way to ship. Michigan, Ohio, Colorado, etc. I'm loving UPS more and more. read more

Criminal price gouging please audit your employees working at this location fir extorting students and potentially the public at large. Thought new ownership ? However seems like same deal of extortion with differential name only owner. Shameful! We need a decent ups store and understand revenues maybe is down when Google campus pulled out workers allowing covid remote but you can't steal from the public under a ups franchise. Name Audit is required from the CEO of this location. Why are the employees attempting to charge $175 cash for 2 day letter pack ?! Then saying oh ok $127. It's $30-50 national standard rate for less than 1lb ie 1 piece of paper document placed in a letter pack ie a legal piece of paper document sent 2 business days can not be $175. When student stated oh this is a miscommunication with Saturday because today is Friday morning I meant Monday Tuesday 2day he was told $127 cash. Training is required for your employee to push the right button in the computer but having read the Yelp reviews perhaps an audit from nation ups CEO and police are required as this store is skimming profits away from ups and hurting the unsuspecting18 year students! Investigate 4 more years to use this location maybe 9 more years with graduate studies I' feel determined to make sure this store location conducts proper business. Use the surveillance cameras to check Friday mid morning who was working the desk and crossed check the transactions on the computer with the cash intake. Rogue employee? Or rogue new franchise owner. Either way you can not hang a UPS shingle and extort the public especially students who may be willing to ship legal documents in letter packs and could pay with cash. read more

I happened to walk in the other day with a lot of things to do. I own a small business that requires some documents to be notarized, copied and then add it to the large packages that I need to have it packed and shipped. I walk in. The store seems to be well intact and felt really friendly. As I started asking questions about UPS services, I finally figured it out that every UPS store is like a business office for customers! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING! Black and white copy machines, color copy machines, laminating, packing services from certified operators, shipping that is pretty reasonable cost with the add-ons that comes with it. Best of all... they have notary services as well. I can't stress how much they had helped me out that day, I thought I had to do multiple stops in one day to get one of my packages out to my client. This was too good to be true! Don't know why others below me are complaining about stupid topics. If you're asking the right questions and know what you are doing, I think it pretty much makes sense. If I keep going I'll be writing an essay so I'll stop here. Overall it is 10 out of 10. Way to go 30th UPS. If anyone sees this, thank you so much~ read more

This UPS store blatantly rips off its customers! I went in with a package and they intentionally added inches (inches not an inch) to each side. One side they added 3 inches to. When I realized what the kid in the store was doing he actually said they were told to do this in order to avoid extra fee's that could be added to the package when in the shipping facility. When I complained that 3 inches was ridiculous and what sort of management would tell them to intentionally rip them off he said the price wouldn't actually change that much. I had them just refund everything and went to the UPS owned shipping facility off Pearl where it wound up being $20 dollars cheaper even after adding signature confirmation. Do not go to this store. It is part of the UPS franchise and are basically unregulated. Go to the UPS Customer Shipping Center (operated by UPS) 3795 Frontier Ave, Boulder, CO (800) 742-5877 read more

Hahahahha the Asian kid needs to find a new line of work, this dude is the biggest piece of crap in all of Boulder. The whole staff here must be the most miserable human beings even outside of work. Is this how they treat their friends and family? How can they be this miserable? And also, how does corporate UPS allow this to take place? I'm sure they recognize the horrible reviews they get? I'm sure many people have reported them to UPS? I advise you to do whatever you can to file complaints with UPS against this owner and staff. Sadly its a great location being next to King Soopers and all they need is new people to make it great. I wish nothing but the worst for the owner and the entire staff. read more

I dropped the ball when moving back home across the country, and didn't hire a moving service in time. I called UPS hoping they could freight ship some boxes and a bed for me within the next two days, and they were unbelievably accommodating. The manager, Steve Kim, came to our home with a helper, picked up the boxes and bed, packaged the larger items, and shipped them off for arrival a week later. I was impressed with the level of service offered by this location and all the employees I spoke with. Would definitely recommend/use this UPS location again!! read more

How is this place still in business??? I had no other option but to return my Amazon package here. I wished the 30-ish year old Asian male a good morning and asked how he was. He asked me to let him do his job. Ok then. I stepped behind the blue line as instructed and he went off on me. My toes weren't perfectly behind the line and he said "next time I give you an instruction and you refuse to abide you can get out. I'm here to help you and you are threatening my life." I was stunned read more

DO NOT use this place or the one on Baseline. They are owned by the same irrational and angry family. Here are some great alternatives! 1. Boulder Packaging Center, 637 South Broadway, Suite B near King Soopers, next to Snarf's, Boulder, CO 80305 2. UPS Customer Center, 3795 Frontier Ave, Boulder, CO 80301 3. Various local drop boxes: https://www.ups.com/dropoff/ (since they HATE prepaid packages) I'm sure there's a bunch of other options but these will keep you safe! read more

Sent some camping gear across the country using the "pack and ship guarantee". Insured my package in case something went wrong. There was a mixup and my package was lost. Bummer. Good news was that Steve worked through what I imagine to be a lot of red tape and got me a check to compensate for my lost gear. Everyone I talked to was very nice and showed desire to fix the situation. Good ending to an unfortunate package loss. read more

This store is under new management and the person I worked with was extremely happy and helpful despite being during the holiday season. We were late and had quite a few items to ship and they were very accommodating and in good spirits. I would definitely go back to them for the customer service alone. Highly recommend relative to other places in town. read more

The worst example of customer service I have ever seen. Store opened at 10, six customers walked in, three left without a transaction because the clerk was rude. Two others left shaking their heads. 5/6! Stunningly rude clerk. Hope he or his father owns the location because if he's an employee he should be fired immediately. read more

DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS. This store needs to reevaluate its customer service and understanding of the purpose of service animals for military veterans. I watched a video of 2 men harass and completely disregard the rights of a veteran with a qualified service animal. Choose another place to ship your packages. read more

This is an awesome store, the employees Paras and Connor helped me with my super heavy boxes from my car.
