Popped on to do a review as I wasn't sure I'd done one before and I'm sticking with my 5 stars. It's a busy Saturday; I came in for passport photos, someone else was there for something to do with fingerprints, there were lots of people there are doing Amazon returns, and, of course, lots of people trying to ship packages. I've had a few issues with this store. The first happened about a year ago - an important legal document was mailed and sent to this store. The store refused to accept it and the document was eventually sent back to the sender. I thought this was odd and nobody contacted me about it. It was time sensitive which is why it was decided to send it to the store. I assumed this must be an unfortunate, but unique experience. I've used them a couple of other times to mail packages, and notice that every time I ask for the lowest cost shipping option, they will first tell me a higher one and then I have to ask again for the lower cost. This is frustrating and makes me question whether I have overpaid for shipping in the past. The biggest issue, and the final reason why I will no longer use this store, is that they switched the mailing label on a package I was sending out with someone else's package (a stranger, their recipient received my package and mine theirs). There is no way for me to get my items back. I did receive a refund, however I do not trust this store with important items (either sending or receiving) and do not trust the consistent upselling. read more

I needed some legal papers signed. He said " You stand over there! Wait for me" I waited while he served 9!!!people when I interrupted and said it's my turn now. He came and had me log onto a iPad (could've done that in the 10 minutes I waited) came back and forth for the next 5 minutes. I was in the store over 30 minutes as he continued to serve others EXCEPT for those returning Amazon packages who had to do it themselves. My last Amazon package was never received. The man in the store is condescending to women. I won't go there again. I'll drive 5 more minutes away. read more

I don't need the UPS store often. Maybe one day when I get WiFi, I will get a copier for my house. They do offer copies, and faxes. I did need to return something a couple weeks ago. I ended up using the least expensive/longest and non insured method of shipping. It turned out that faster shipping would have cancelled the amount of the refund which made absolutely no sense. The employees that work here are always very nice and provide me all the service necessary to get the job done. I have the email to request copies saved in my Gmail account. Always try and use random boxes to ship, but in a pinch the UPS Store is the best option. read more

$1.99 to apply tape for the return label is absolutely ridiculous! I've never been to a UPS that charges for that I should have went to the other one cause they didn't just tape on the return label they taped up the whole box for free and this place is out here charging for 2-3 pieces of tape. Really nice UPS store with great customer service. I've had my fair share of experience with different UPS stores in AZ, but was really happy to find this one. No, haven't actually mailed anything out from here, but have witnessed others come and go while getting other things done. Customers seem happy when they leave to dropping off Amazon packages, sending out mail/ packages. I've recently needed to print, sign, notarize forms and there was a notary present each time( of course, doesn't hurt to call the store to double check beforehand). Printed, signed and notary was very professional, faxed out and sent same copies to my email with no issues. Also noticed, the store is very clean, staff wears masks, asks customers to also wear masks, and hand sanitizers were available. Purchased a book of stamps with a nice variety and place itself seemed well stocked for your ideal needs from envelopes, pre stamped envelopes, markers, tape, colored paper,cards,etc. Highly recommend this store!! read more

Totally unaccountable and fraudulently ran. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS SHADY LOCATION!!!!!! Did not complete a print job and did not issue a refund, stating that he "couldnt get a hold of the tech team and simply couldnt refund my money"... tried giving me the number for UPS customer care which has NOTHING to do with print jobs. The owner said he would call me back after I called 3xs about my refund and NEVER called or followed up. Better Business Bureau already has several complaints on this location!!! I have been going to this UPS store for a long time. The last three times I have gone in I have had issues with the sales associate. Trying to return items to sellers and it specifically states that you do not need packaging or a label they will provide it. When I walked out of the building, I turned around and looked back and details associate flipped me off. I will never return to this location again. No wonder there are signs on the window that say sales associate needed. Try hiring somebody that actually understands the way the system works. And I now have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to another UPS store. Horrible business no customer service's. read more

I keep forgetting why I don't go here. I know it's a post pandemic world we live in, but the level of nickel and diming at this particular UPS store is absolutely outrageous. I went to return an Amazon package and they tried to make me buy a box for $25 to put my Amazon envelope in. It was the original shipping envelope I had received my goods in and in great condition, resealed perfectly. They said it was required to be shipped back "secured" so I had to buy a box. Uh, this was the way I got it, so this is as "secure" as it's going to be. The girl had to get her manager to "approve" me sending it back in the envelope. K..... Then today I needed a single piece of tape for the top of my box for returning a product and was told that costs $2. They then immediately tried to upsell me and make me buy a whole roll of tape for $6. When I commented on that being insane to charge $2 for a piece of tape I was informed "this is a UPS store, it's not a shipping center". Um.... Wtf? Oh, and I asked them if they could print the label for me - on the return instructions it said if you don't have a printer just bring it in to the store. She was probably too scared to tell me that that costs $2 to print a label. Are these people for real? I could've paid a $5 fee for the freaking at home pick up - why the hell would I pay them $4 for a piece of tape and a piece of paper? OH, and they then asked me if I wanted to donate money to the kids for Christmas. I told them to feel free to pass along my $4 donation I just made to the store. There's a UPS store up on Scholls Ferry that will give you a piece of tape and print for free. I highly recommend driving the extra few miles to save yourself $$ and dealing with the idiot employees who work here. read more

Went to mail a box back East they quoted me 29.00 ended up going to the post office and spent 14 bucks to ship the box.

The staff is very helpful, highly recommended. Manager Patt was very helpful in answering all my questions.

I have been going to this store since last several years and I had a great experience with previous reps! Last two instances have been horrible! They first sent my 2 lbs package for $150 and since it was urgent, I was able to digest the cost. Today I went for another less than 2 lbs envelope and wanted it to reach destination by next week (not urgent).. guess what, i was quoted $85 for it and then brought it down to $60 and when I said oh nevermind I will check price somewhere else, the price magically dropped to $16! WTF!! Whatever the new model is, I know that I will not be using this particular store anymore. Highly disappointed read more

Ladies and Gentleman, $2.40 for one printout of 6 line-text file. First of all, it took an eternity to setup their system to print and then the operator while looking at the black and white text file on the her monitor asked me whether I wanted color or black and white. Are you kidding me? BTW, the previous owner never charged for one copy of text file printout and the local Office Depot either. read more

We had a completely opposite experience dealing with Praveen the regional manager, and he was very considerate of our situation and wanted to make it right every possible way. But when 2 of the 3 people working there mistreat you it breaks trust on the business. Am not sure why 1 of their agent even gave us wrong information about Janelle being regional manager and made us call her over and over with no response. I wish I could increase more rating but it was a painful experience to get money back. read more

Their MyChoice whatever the fuck is the most frustrating thing. I ordered a package that needed a signature, but unfortunately I have a job and am away when they try to deliver. How dare I. When I try to schedule the package to be held at a location, a UPS store or otherwise, there's an additional charge... Used to be my go to store for shipping. Not any more. I had to argue with employees to get the best rate, on two occasions. Started at over $50 and settled on $16.00 for a package. Package was delivered in two days. The second time they didn't offer a reasonable rate, so I walked out. Their new business model appears be upselling to get the highest rates, whether the customer wants is or not. Recommend the Walker Road UPS store instead or the post office. read more

I've been going here for about 10 years but ever since the new owners took over (a year or two ago) the prices have sky rocketed. The employee wanted to charge me $50 to ship a small 7 inch box. I told him I wanted the cheapest way possible, don't care about timing. He told me the only 3 options where $150, $75 or $50. I said, never mind I'll go to USPS and he tried to tell me it would be $39 there (he could see it on his screen). Then I notice on my screen it said 3- day delivery. I tell him I just want ground and he says that's not available during the holidays. I start to leave and he magically drops the price to $29 for ground delivery and barely talks to me the rest of the time. This is not the way to make money. I will no longer be doing business here. read more

Delivery and after-sales care is really bad. 1) When shipper shipped the package, the staff did not ask the value of product at all and did not ask if want to add insurance on it. They automatically specify default $100 on the package. 2) After the package is missing/lost, they do not want to claim the responsibility and their behavior is lack of customer caring. 3) They do not have thoughtful process to make sure all packages are handed over to UPS driver and UPS only scan any packages that the store gave to at the Hub. The mistake will not be noticed/corrected if the staff misbehave. 4) Overall, do not ship your package from this store, it is not safe!! read more

Do not go to this location. I went there to purchase a box for my things. I had planned to package the items myself as I brought packaging tape. When I asked for a box, the man at the counter said the size box that I would need is 45 dollars. I thought this was a bit outrageous but the box was large so whatever. When I got my receipt I saw that the box was only 25 dollars and I was charged an extra 20 dollars for a "packaging service." I went to this location to purchase a box. This is the worst UPS store I have been to in the Portland Metro area. I have given it a few shots before finally giving in and deciding to drive a little further from home to go to another store. The staff here is ALWAYS rude and somehow my purchases always cost more here when I get the same services cheaper at another UPS store. Stay away from this place. What a ripoff. Notice they won't let you "see" the difference in price from USPS to UPS. Yesterday I took 2 small boxes in to be shipped across the states - both cost over $25 each. I got a box from one of the same addresses I sent to and it was $17 from the postal service - twice the size and weight, insured and tracked. Others in there were surprised and complaining too. In the midst of a pandemic, today was the second day of face mask requirements in Oregon. This store did such a great job of being safe, but helpful. I was a little distracted, hopped out of my car and got one foot in the door without my mask when I was gently reminded that I needed to cover my face. Shoutout to Jim at this UPS store! Jim literally prevented a catastrophe. Here's what happened: I, ever the genius, forgot my backpack in an AirBnB and didn't notice it missing until I had returned the rental car at the airport and was on my way for my flight to...Maui. Yeah, not the easiest mistake to make. Just a backpack, right? No big deal there. Except it had my..laptop...and my medicine...and my kindle..and my, well, the list goes on. my AirBnB Host was gracious enough to bring my bag to this UPS store, where Jim the man took over. He spoke to me on the phone from the airport and agreed to hold my pack and repack it for me (as the host just brought it to the store unpackaged) the next day. Obviously i was a little nervous about this- but what am I going to do? I'm 15 minutes from getting on a plane to cross the Pacific Ocean. Sure enough, Jim calls me the next day, the box is packed and ready to be dropped in the mail. He makes sure I get he appropriate insurance, explains to me that it's going to be personally handled until it gets to my house, and makes sure to let me know that I'll have to sign for the package. He takes my payment over the phone so I don't have to deal with figuring out how to pay my AirBnB host, and even emails me the receipt and tracking #. The bag arrives on the day he promised, packed expertly- seriously better than I would ever have been able to do myself. The whole experience was perfect- and considering how bad it could have been, I can't speak highly enough about Jim's help with this. Probably the best customer experience I've ever had- anywhere. He didn't have to do this- didn't have to hold it, to pack it the next day, to take such professional care with my belongings, or be so transparent in the delivery process and be so helpful in ensuring my belongings would make it. The UPS store at Murray Crossing (SW Murray Blvd at Allen, Beaverton, OR) used to provide good service. But since the beginning of the year has had very bad to incompetent service. Poor training, disorganized, and especially bad management of mail boxes. This situation needs to improve or I will take my business elsewhere!!!!! I don't get email messages when I get mail in my box. This has happened repeatedly since the first of the year. Yesterday, I received an email saying I had mail (yeah) only to find that there is no mail. Like I say THEY ARE INCOMPETENT OVER THERE. THIS NEEDS TO GET FIXED NOW. The staff here helped me print the label and made it so much easier for me. The store is very cleaned and organized. The staff here are very professional and helpful.
