I was stunned by the exceedingly customer service.One and a half years ago one of my UPS mailed packages was badly damaged in transit.The BG UPS store staff and I had several contacts with the UPS claims department who never sent me payment for the claim they acknowledged was justified. After such a long time I had accepted I would never be paid.That was until the new store owner,Amy,recently fiercely advocated for me. Her efforts resulted in my receipt of the full claim amount (204.00 from UPS Capital Insurance Agency). I have always received good service from the hard working staff at BG UPS.Nonetheless,to have the owner voluntarily battle for me was extraordinary.What an exceptional community business! read more

I visited the Battle Ground UPS store today. Shirley was the customer service person. She gave me attitude as only a young woman can do (believe me, I know it when I see it. I was a young woman once myself). Makes me sad. I've been working with this store for years and this is the first time I've experienced this. They won't print a UPS label for you. They will charge you to print a UPS label for a package. They are not UPS they are a UPS store meaning they get their labels for free but charge you to print them on a UPS printer with UPS ink. read more

I used to work for UPS Stores for years through high school and college, and almost bought a franchise several times- so needless to say I enjoy spending my my money here. Long story short after coming to the BG locations several times I have not had a good or pleasant experience. There is a short employee with a tattoo and glasses that is absolutely awful. Micromanaged and demeaned the other kids working there and was horrible to me each and every time. Definitely acts like you're inconveniencing her, and seems a little too egotistical for an older (at least I think) person working at a high schooler's job. I hope she sees this and reevaluates her leadership and humility skills. I'll be driving to a further location to spend my next $$$ read more

I like this store. Friendly customer service specialists and it's easy to get what you need. Often you do need to stand in line so come with a few extra minutes and be patient. Reading the one star reviews is mildly amusing, as they don't reflect upon the business itself, but rather the UPS model, which has nothing to do with the franchise owner. (It's not this store's fault when UPS fails to deliver something quickly. Most UPS stores charge at least $10 to pick up a package, so it's nice to know I have a local option that charges half that when I don't have a box/address here.) read more

I've had good experiences at this location. I am usually in an out with no hassle. I usually go to ship out some packages. They help tape up the box and take care of the shipping label. Service has been friendly and great for me. I get no problems and none of my time wasted. I have gone a couple times and there are no lines at all, lucky me. The woman working at the store was curt and rude to not only me but other customers. Each time I have a bad experience I vow I will not go back. The employees need a customer service course. I used one of their post office boxes until I got a baseball bat proof mail box. This was a year and a half ago. Last week I accidentally forgot to change the old address when I ordered an item. I called and requested they take the package. The Lady there said they would only take it if I paid for the box from the time I cancelled it till now, OVER $300! Ridiculous and callous. We have been using this UPS store for some time now. We are always shipping to California and find the employees at this location to be helpful. The guy that works there is very friendly and efficient. The other two girls sometimes are in a lets say not in their best mood. In general, I prefer no to be listening to their personal/dating drama while I am in front of them at the register. I guess this is a good business for the most part. NEVER send packages out of the country through this store, unless you plan on unexpected customs and surcharges for the receiver upwards of over 3 times the original shipping cost. Management tried to explain to me that they have no idea of the potential cost of customs; however when I spoke with the customs agents they stated it is based on the value of the contents. If it is that easy why wouldn't they have warned the consumer of these potential costs? The United States postal service lets you know a rough estimate of customs, why couldn't UPS? Because they don't value their customers. I understand there is customs which is out of the control of UPS, but they could at least provide a rough estimate of charges for the receiver so the sender could make an informed decision if it was worthwhile to send the package. I usually don't have any issues with this place but today I was shocked by the lack of customer service and effort put into a simple task, yet the older brunette woman at the counter made me feel like I was highly inconveniencing her. I brought my own box with my own shipping label and all I required was to tape it up, simple and easy, as I was shipping expensive textbooks back and had mentioned that I had a rather large box. Assuming UPS are packaging expert's... I thought my package would be fine but as I headed out the door I asked that same employee if they fill the extra space in the box so that my textbooks wouldn't get damaged. She said that they don't do that for free and she would have to charge me.. which is no issue whatsoever I would rather be informed that extra space in a box isn't filled and have the option to pay the difference of a few dollars TO MAKE SURE MY ITEMS WERE SHIPPED CORRECTLY, instead of damaging textbooks worth a few hundred dollars. Advice and suggestions would have been appreciated, as I am not familiar with how they do things around the store and had no idea if that's something I needed to ask about but I feel this could've been avoided if the employee was doing even the bare minimum of their job because what I experienced was far less. read more

I paid over night shipping to Idaho which cost me $54. The package was delayed and they refused to refund me my money. They told me my other option to pay 2 day shipping which was only $11. I ended up paying over night because it was really important for it to be there the next day. After I came back to get a refund they wouldn't help me and gave me customer service phone number. 30-40 mins on hold with their representatives who kept telling me I can't be refunded, I finally got to a supervisor. I asked to get at least a partial refund back since it took more than two days to deliver. I was ok with getting the difference back between over night and 2 day shipping. He said he couldn't refund partial amount but would refund the whole amount. Great! Right?! He said I would receive a check within 7-10 business days. 2 weeks later and no check. I called customer service back and another 30 mins on hold, I was told my refund got cancelled and that someone left me a voice mail. I never received a phone call or the voicemail. They also kept asking me what the name of the supervisor was because they couldn't see any notes from a phone call I made prior. Seriously? I guess lesson learned I should've wrote his name down which I doubt would make a difference anyway. He basically told me he couldn't help me and that I should go to the store directly, which I already did that and they didn't refund me. They said it's not their fault. Well how is it exactly my fault that my package wasn't delivered? I was the one who paid the money!!! Very disappointed of their customer service. read more
