What do I think of this business? I think it sucks. It's a shared parking lot with a bunch of strip mall businesses and Safeway. It's right along too so it is never an easy pop in and out transaction. They also stopped doing USPS pickup a few years ago and there's no USPS nearby, only shantytown USPS on Smoky Hill. Staff seems overwhelmed and short each time I've been too. I will only go to this location as a last resort. read more

I stopped into the UPS store to mail an Amazon package. I didn't have any of the required labels. The man who helped me was extremely helpful and kind. This used to be where I went and did all my shipping. I'm not sure if they are under new ownership or what, But services offered here have gone completely in the toilet. They refused to sign for a wine shipment I had diverted to their store causing the shipment to be returned. Now they won't take prepaid UPS packages, which means I now have to go elsewhere to get the same service. Done with this place and their sub par service. read more

I went to The UPS Store on Gun Club next to the safeway, and boy, did I get ripped off. They charged me $96 for Next Day Air saver. When I got home, I looked it up on the ups chart, and it's $8.58. I called them and they said that that was their rate and if I had done it online, then I would only pay the $8 but since I took it into them they upcharged me $88. If I were you, I would book stuff online and print your label so they don't rape you at the store. As you can guess, they were unwilling to give me my money back. read more

Bad service. I went in to get something notarized (called ahead too and all was good). Then get there the notary is standing there making copies - the other employees are just standing waiting for work. The notary says to the other employees (doesn't look at me) and says sorry I have to finish this job. Another employee says he can do it for him but no that is more important for him to do himself. Please note a notary takes exactly 3 minutes because I had to drive to the one on Buckley and got it done in 3 minutes. Such a dumb reason to lose business! Very disappointed. 2 starts for convenience however, I have been to this location 2x now and each time the service has been horrible. There were two workers today and I wish that the gentleman has helped me as he was so friendly, outgoing, and professional friendly. (Different level of friendly, not rude not over the top just right. When I walked in this round the girl who helped me, we shall call her A, right off the bat looked annoyed I asked for a notary. I know in customer service we have off days, so I kept going thinking I could win her over with charm. Not what customer service is, the customer doing all the work, but it's hard times for people and kindness goes far right? She was having none of it. What really frustrated me and has caused me to pull my business despite how convenient and well priced this place is was her lack of due diligence. I asked to fax the document and it was a front and back document. Did she bother to tell me they couldn't do back/front and they would have to charge me almost $2 for copies? Nope she just did it and then starts to charge me. "Ummm...always tell your customers what they are being charged for and give them the option." She very rudely said she had to copy them and why, sorry that is not my fault. Then don't do the fax! Communication and a better attitude for helping your paying clients would have been nice. I realize customer service isn't easy but come on friends; work with me here! Don't make me do all the work. If you want convenience that's all this place offers. The manager (Darlene) of this store and employees are all scams and lies. I was told when shipping my packages with high value items inside that it was covered if the items were damaged or loss. When I received my packages they were completely destroyed and my items were very badly damaged. I made a claim with UPS who told me that the store was actually responsible for the damages. And upon calling the store to confirm, the manager told me this was a lie and they are not responsible and said her employee texted her and told her that they sent high value items and that they were in "home depot boxes that weren't rated for shipping". Which they inspected the boxes and told the shipper it was okay and charged $300 for shipping. She also stated that my items weren't insured when the employee told me that if the items were damaged that ups would cover the damages, I caught the manager in multiple lies, to which i brought up and she responded by hanging up in my face. She started the conversation off very aggressive towards me when i was just trying to understand why they were not going to be responsible for the damages to my property that they were responsible for when it was shipped from their location. The people at this UPS store were very rude. We dropped off a few UPS packages and one USPS parcel. The woman said they don't really take USPS, but they'll take this one, but any bigger and they won't. But their pickup already happened for the day. Ok, fine - if you have a USPS pickup why don't you take it?! They grudgingly accepted my package on February 22nd. Do you know when it got to USPS!? MARCH 7TH! Meanwhile I have now missed my return window for the merchandise that I was shipping and may be out several hundred dollars. Absolutely unacceptable. read more

Terrible experience here. I chose this store as a drop point for a regular monthly shipment for my wine club. First shipment came off with no problem, other than perhaps slow service. Today I showed up for a new shipment. After signing for my box, I was informed of a $5 surcharge from the store for receiving my package! It is a UPS store receiving a UPS shipment right? There was no prior notice of any kind of an extra shipping charge and I was informed AFTER I signed for the box! I refused to pay the fee and ended up having to leave the store rather get into an extended argument with the lady at the desk. I think what made me angry was the attitude. The surcharge was not the big deal. The problem was that, for a customer service-based business, it was clear that there was no interest in my satisfaction as a customer. Unlike their counterpart down the road, the United States Postal Service, this UPS Store has short lines and enough employees to keep everything running quickly and smoothly. It was very busy when I arrived but it was a short wait. I had 21 small packages to mail and it was all done fast and efficiently. I have used this location several times and always feel welcome. The staff is polite and helpful and my packages always get to their destination when mailed from here. I never worry or think twice when I leave items to be wrapped up, boxed up and shipped out. NO STARS!!! I walked into the store for the first time returning 2 items from Amazon. I have never returned anything from Amazon before so this was my first time. I will say I will never return an item to this location EVER again!!! I walked into the UPS location and spoke to the manager, Darelene she scanned the bar codes I was given from Amazon off my phone. She then asked which label went with what? I was confused and didn't understand and explained to Darelene this was the first time I have EVER returned anything from Amazon I didn't know. She proceeded to tell me since I didn't know the labels might be incorrect. I asked if that would affect my refund she said it might. After leaving feeling extremely inadaquete and unsure if I completed the return correctly I reviewed my invoice recieved from the store manager. One of the two returns I had were batteries which was slightly heavier then the second item I returned an elephant ipad case. Looking at the reciept one weighs 3.8 pds and the other .65 pds. I called the location and spoke to Ben the franchise owner, inregards to my concern for the Store Manager Darelene making customers feel they returned items incorrectly. Ben proceeded to tell me he was sorry, "they are just a return location for Amazon shipments." I explained to him I understand his location is, "just a return location for Amazon", but he is making money off the drop and should educate the customers on returns not shame them and tell them their refund might be incorrect. read more

Top notch customer service every time. Quick and fiendlly. On my last visit I went in to mail a package and didn't realize until in the store my return label was from FedEx. The UPS gal informed me she was sorry she couldn't help and pointed out it needed to go to FedEx, then proceeded to help me pack up my box with packing tape anyway, tape the label down on the box, and then point me to the competition at the FecEx drop at Safeway. Sidenote, once in Safeway, my customer experience was opposite of what this amazing UPS provided!!! read more

I have been to probably over a dozen UPS stores across the country and all the way to Hawaii. This location is without a doubt the most expensive one I have ever seen. It's the only one that charges a mark-up for USPS shipping instead of just offering the cheapest option. Now I go to the Smoky Hill Rd. location which is much better service. read more

I had ordered a package from a well-known electronics retailer. I got a notice that it would be delivered the day I returned back from a work trip. Instead, they tried to deliver it the day before. My apartment complex takes and stores packages for tenants. I received an Amazon package, delivered the same day as their "second attempt," but no package from my first order. Now, realistically, the delivery itself isn't the fault of the store, BUT I got a notification that the delivery person had brought it to the UPS store and that I could pick it up there. So in I go, two days after it had been dropped there, to pick it up. I walked in and the two younger guys at the counter were super nice and happy. When they couldn't find my package, a guy who'd been sitting on a stool behind them, walked up to the counter to try to find more information. After typing the tracking number in, he flipped the computer around and said, "You picked it up already" and showed me a signature that had my first and last initial just visible. Instead of apologizing and trying to figure out what they could do to help with the evident fraud that had been committed, the guy instantly got defensive when I responded, "No I didn't, that's not my signature." He started arguing that he couldn't validate that an ID had been checked, he couldn't do anything until Monday when his manager was back in the store. So I asked him to get his manager on the phone, which he did, but never actually handed them over to me to talk to. Which led me to very specifically point out to him that he had largely printed name labels, facing customers, with branded boxes sitting on his shelf. ANYone could have picked up my package if the employee at the register didn't actually check ID. Apparently only the manager has access to security footage, so now I'm SOL because either a customer or an employee stole my package. I requested a callback, since no UPS store apparently has managers (or people who managerial access) working on Saturdays. Again, the guys at the front counter initially seemed great, but the guy who actually provided me "information" was simply a defensive jerk who really doesn't understand how to take care of a customer's needs when it's clear their security and trust has been violated. read more

Filed a claim after they damaged the package I shipped. They eventually denied my claim saying it was my fault that they dropped it, ran over it, whatever. Even had pictures to prove it. Had to pay for it since I was borrowing the contents. Poor way to run a company. I would give them a zero if I could. Stick with Fed Ex. read more

Loved it. Everyone was awfully friendly and helpful. A friend of mine had to get a few things done in order to get a packet together to send to the Thai embassy for a Visa. We had to do several things through this location from printing up several documents to notarization. They were exceedingly patient and made sure they were available for any help we might need. I was also impressed to see how calmly and well they handled some particularly impatient customers during am evening rush. read more
