This store does not have a notary on any regular basis. I stopped in a month ago and they told me to come back another day. Today, they said they might have one in two weeks. Larson, I took the opportunity to visit your store to return some Amazon items this Sunday morning. I was surprised when the young lady said, "what can I do for you?". As a store manager, you know this is never how you greet a customer. In short it's rude. Young employees need to be trained to interact with all cultures and people to deliver positive results that influence business profitability. I replied to her with, "good morning how are you?, to which she replied with, "what can I do for you?". America is a great country and full of opportunities but young people need the training to see the promise of success. I hope this helps with additional coaching. read more

The UPS Store - Shipping Centers Near Me - Annapolis, Maryland

If a business is well run, it won't need to nickel and dime its customers. This place does. It charges extra fees for certain services that NO OTHER shipping store or location charges. Worse, these charges are not posted ANYWHERE. Instead, they hold your package ransom until you pay, or they threaten to return it to sender and not give it to you. If I already paid UPS for the cost of shipping, then why is this PRIVATE store with a "store only" policy charging a delivery fee??? FedEx doesn't charge this fee. USPS doesn't charge this fee. This is NOT a UPS store. It is a private shipping store with the UPS logo out front. I refuse to pay unlisted/unposted extortion fees for a service I already paid for, and to make matters worse, the manager Larson is the rudest person I've ever dealt with. read more

We ship a lot. Mostly we print labels at home and just drop things off. Pretty hard to mess that up. When we have to work with the store it's because we have something unusual - international shipments with duty issues, odd shaped or heavy items, balancing time and cost ... this UPS Store has always satisfied our needs. Once in a while they have to call the owner or the UPS "mother ship" but I see that as good. They know what they don't know and rather than give up they get help. "Let me find out" is much better than "I don't think we can help you." Well done. read more

Don't go here. I've loved every UPS store I've used prior to moving to Annapolis. However, The staff is extremely rude especially the manager (I believe she sets an example for them) they showed zero interest in helping you. They (multiple people there) are sarcastic every time I've had a question. I went in to mail a letter/envelope overnight. I was advised that cost would be $40.00. I asked for another price and was quoted $13.00. So, I went with the $13 cost. Afterwards, I received two (2) receipts. The first was for the USPS packing slip and the price showed $10. The second receipt was from the store, and it showed $13.00 which included an extra fee of $2.75 for office supplies. I asked the store manager about the extra charge, and he said it was for an envelope. He never disclosed to me that there was a separate fee for the larger mailing envelope. Otherwise, I would have brought my own. They need to be more transparent about any extra fees at the time of purchase. read more

Arrived at the store at 3:40 on a Saturday with a large package (bass guitar ) to be sent to Ohio. ! was met by a short lady (actually she was no lady) who appeared to be very unhappy with my presence.I gave her the name and address of the recipient and she said very curtly that the zip code was wrong.I asked her if she could look it up and as she handed me back the paper with the name and address on it she said no.After a few silent moments I asked her if I could leave the box while I ran home and she said no they were closing. Then she said gimme the address again and it appeared. I had transposed two numbers. I completed the transaction, said thank you and left never to back again.By the way the box arrived and had been opened in transit. The UPS driver acted like he couldn't care less.This was not the first time I've had an issue at this store. read more

The staff is friendly and helpful. I was in many times during Christmas holiday rush (I'm a business customer) and they were handling it like the pros they are. However, they close with the least bit of snow or ice. Yesterday (01/03/2014) I arrived at 5:15 pm to pickup a package that contained material I needed for work, they were closed! No ice, little snow and the other two UPS Stores in Mayo and Annapolis were open, I called. Although this location is the most convenient to me, I'll be taking my business to one of the other stores. read more

Showed up at 6:55pm. They told me they were closed. I said 6:55 seems like a strange time to close. They said the system automatically shuts down at 6:55. I said I'll just go to your competition, the response was "I don't really care, it's time for me to go home". read more

Have used this UPS Store to ship back many items they have been helpful save me money and help pack the items for safe shipping. Streaming was surprised they have a good selection of greeting cards for that last-minute something. read more

I went in to have a package of nine pages faxed to my insurance company and emailed to me. The clerk, who was clearly new to the job, spoke intermittently to another clerk, who later identified herself as the manager, Larsen. The clerk said the fax would not go through because the number was "out of range." Larsen interrupted to say that she had been using the fax all morning long. The fax number was an 800 number provided by my insurer, USAA. I tried it later, and It seemed to work fine. I asked that the package be emailed to me. I entered my email address, which the clerk erased. She entered it again. And again. And again. I returned home to find that I had received two pages, not nine; and, those two pages were the same page, but sent in two different formats at two different times. I returned to the store, to explain that the fax seemed fine, and that I had received one page twice and eight pages not at all. Larsen repeated that I must have had an incorrect fax number. She had been using the fax all morning long. Re the email, I showed her the two of nine pages, and she challenged me, saying that I must have entered the email address incorrectly. I explained that I had personally entered the address only once, the other times by the other clerk. Then I must have entered it incorrectly, she continued to insist, even though I was holding two pages that had been emailed to me. I asked for a refund, saying I would be in on Monday to complain to the manager about the poor service. "That would be me," she responded. I am now home, have wasted over an hour, still needing to send the package. This was absolutely terrible service, and utter incompetence. I've used this place before, and will go in on Monday to complain, hoping that the owner will be in. There is no option at the UPS Store site for complaints, but I will persist. read more

UPS site doesn't provide any way to give information about poor delivery. Within the last month I have had poor quality delivery. First a box was delivered to my house with paper products inside. The box itself was delivered split apart. After distracting the delivery man from his cell phone, I pointed out that the box was open. His remark was that happens ALL the TIME. Luckily no water damage. Within 2 weeks, an envelope was delivered to my husband and it was dropped on our sidewalk about 30 feet from the front door at the edge of driveway. Again, we were lucky it had not rained when we discovered it. My zipcode is 21401 and the quality of UPS delivery to my neighborhood is unexcuseable. read more

I ordered presentations to be printed at this store through UPS online. The printing was OK...some of the graphics were not clear but it was acceptable. The service was horrible however. When I went to pick up the printing the girl felt like I was bothering the attendant. When I asked for a receipt, she said she could not give me one because "i just came in and don't know anything about it". I asked her to call a supervisor and I could here her supervisor on the phone say "tell her to go online". Had to call customer service and waste 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get a receipt and finally submitted my expenses without one. Won't be going back there... read more
