Bill was very polite, called me over the weekend to set up the time and said he'd go to the jobsite to get his guys started and then come and meet with me. He just sent me a text message (not even dignified enough to call) at 8:30pm the night before saying "We are currently too busy to take on any new jobs until September. Call me early summer." Bill is what gives contractors a bad name. Sure he might do good work, but he does not respect people's time and schedules. A simple, "Sorry, would love to help you, but we are booked through September" would have done fine at the first call. Terrible customer service and I imagine this speaks to how you might be treated as a client if he did manage to get in your door.

The worst painter I ever had in all my 5 houses. Beware like the one review said. I wish I would…read morehave listened but I was recommend Dave by Tony the owner of premium cabinets that said dave is also a contractor. I gave dave 4 thousand dollars to paint an empty 800 square foot condo with no furniture and he didn't finish painting kitchen or hallways or closet shelves. It was an easy job. But it was a nightmare. I have a list a mile long. The straw that broke the camels back was him doing something simple like putting a rod in my closet to hang my cloths. Well I put my last piece of clothing on rod and the whole closet rods and brackets came out of wall on top of me. He came back after his vacation 1 week later and fixed it then he measured wrong and I couldn't open the drawers from dresser inside of closet that he knew I had to open the drawers. So that being said I couldn't trust Dave installing my cabinets for premier. He can't even hang a closet rod let alone cabinets. Hit or miss kinda a guy. Live and learn. Reviews are for a reason. Next time I will listen. That was a lot of money for me Beware.

We were in the process of both remodeling our condo kitchen with new cabinets, and replacing our…read morecomplete condo flooring and therefore in need of a contractor we could trust. Our cabinet company salesman put us in contact with Dave Pike, and we will be forever grateful he did! From our initial meeting to go over the project, our vision and expectations, and timeline, Dave's professional approach, support and suggestions told us straightaway that we could trust him and his work. Not only did he finish our project in time and on budget, we are so pleased with the high quality of work and his follow through to complete a few minor lingering issues. We appreciated his level of communication and follow through whenever we had questions. This is by no means our only renovation and we thus know how difficult it is to find a contractor who does what he says he will do, with expertise and consummate professionalism, and by someone you can trust to complete the project to your specifications. Dave Pike did that precisely, so we highly recommend his services. Our building manager was so impressed, he asked us for Dave's contact information so he can forward it to others in our building! He's a gem!

The more difficult (at least I thought it would be) was to regrout the countertops that were bordering the wall. They had become gross and couldn't be cleaned anymore because the dirt was like stuck underneath so he pulled them all up and regrouted in like 10 minutes. Then he noticed that inside our sink some of the group was coming up as well. He didn't even charge us extra and replaced that in like 2 minutes. Everything was done outstandingly and we will definitely be using them again.

Not measured correctly, had to add extra trim to cover their mistake on our large backsplash slab. Then the measurement person said it was because we were doing a replacement and measurements can be off. The seams are huge and visible and couldn't be adjusted after being placed, I noticed 1 corner wasn't finished and they had to adjust it on site . 9 months later and we have discoloration on multiple edges despite sealing it. I've asked for help and they said this isn't covered under the warranty. I'm looking at costly repairs or replacement on something I waited 15 years to change out. They did do a good job on my quartz remnant for my bathroom vanity but I had to really convince of them if the placement of the sinks as it's off set from what is usual. I would not use them again and it's a shame. Deb was great to work with and is a huge asset to them.

I wanted a new patio installed, the landing of my back porch replaced (which had broken off and left a hole) and extended to match the patio, the corner of the foundation patched, the front sidewalk slab replaced (that had broken away from the front porch and broken in half), and a hole in my front porch sealed so that the critters would stop using it as nest. My new patio is amazing - better than I could have imagined! The holes in my porch (front and back) are now sealed, I don't have to look at the missing foundation corner, and I don't have to worry about critters any more. :) I am VERY pleased with the work! Would definitely recommend them and will be calling them for future renovations and other concrete work.

Unfortunately the output of the work did not earn my 5 stars. I contracted for (1) wall / ceiling…read morepainting, (2) a new door installation for bathroom (3) flooring work for ~500sqft in my studio. The company did a good job in (1) and (2). But when it comes to the flooring work, a few things happened: a. The majority of my purchased laminate materials was wasted due to installation challenges resulted from uneven subfloors: Before project started, I explicitly confirmed with the company on the product I intended to purchase and received the thumbs up. When my original carpet was removed, the contractor quickly found out that my subfloor was uneven, which present challenges to installation. With two attempts using almost all the materials, we concluded the product was not viable unless we either level the floor. That decision could have been made earlier b. The vinyl installation was suboptimal: Then I suggested I go together to pick a more flexible vinyl product with the contractor. As you can see in the picture, the installation was sub-optimal. The contractor attempted to float the vinyl but multiple pieces popped up after installation. Then an attempt to glue down some of the pieces was pursued. What you see on the picture was the outcome. At this point, this project has started since two months ago. I do not know what else can be done, nor do I want to push for another cycle of reinstallation so I closed the project. The other day, I walked in the new ORD airport pedestrian walkway. The vinyl planks there were well installed despite the fact the ORD subfloor was not even either. Typically, I'd expect the output of a residential project to be higher quality than commercial space, presumably due to smaller space. Am I missing something? I appreciate the hard work but I really cannot give thumbs up to the output. This is an investment property. I don't even know how my future renters would value the home improvement after spent more than five thousand dollars on it.
