Missing egg and Canadian bacon for my breakfast sandwich.
    Melissa M.

I really hate to leave bad reviews, but when you are left with an experience that ruins your morning I feel obligated to to inform other customers. This morning my sister-in-law and I were hoping to have a breakfast sandwich and coffee for watching church this morning. We landed on the ultimate bagel because I was looking for something "more" than just a coffee stand frozen sandwich. We drove all the way there for it because I thought it would be worth it. Instead I was severely disappointed. First of all, the blonde lady working behind the counter was extremely rude to us. She made us feel unwelcome and that it was a burden that we were there. I'm not going to make assumptions about why that is but she clearly rolled her eyes at us. I hope this lady owns the business and is willing to offend customers at the sake of the profitably of the company. However, if she is an employee the owner needs to be made aware. I ordered a breakfast sandwich bagel that had Canadian bacon, egg, and cheese in it. I asked to add bacon. It came to $10 and some change after tax and a tip. When I got my sandwich she gave it to me in a bag. And then we waited 5 minutes for my sister-in-law's sandwich. During that time an employee took my sandwich back and gave me a new one. Apparently the other was a mistake. (I feel bad for whoever had ordered the sandwich I had because it sat in a paper bag on a cold table for 5 minutes so probably pretty cold by the time it was received). When both sandwiches were done we left. To my surprise my $10 had cheese and only bacon. Everything else was missing. It was cold and had two measly pieces of bacon. Pretty disappointed but the worst part is based on how we were treated I was not willing to drive back to get it fixed. The lady was so off putting that I felt better throwing it away then coming back to get what I paid for. I typically return to businesses where I have poor food experiences a year or so later hoping that enough time has lapsed that changes have been made. I've had great luck with that in the past. However for the Ultimate Bagel, I will not return to this establishment and will continue to warn others about it because of not only the poor food experience but more so the way we were treated.

This is the half salad...yes, half. Very big!

I am going to start of with a complaint about price. I really wanted a salad and sandwich but they don't have an option for a salad on the side. Their half salad would be enough to feed most people all by itself. Also, $7.99 for a sandwich made on a bagel is just too much. I can get a footlong at Subway with more veggie choices for the same price. As far as the salad goes, it is just spring mix with a little feta and walnuts thrown on. At $5.25 for a half salad, that is exorbitant in my mind. And only two types of salad dressing, both vinaigrette, is really limited. The huckleberry one is awesome, but still. Finally, $1.99 for a 20 Oz bottle of soda is nuts. Service is really good and very prompt. Restaurant is very clean and comfy. I am really surprised that, being so close to a college this place is doing so well with the cost. But then again maybe this is the rich kid hipster spot so they just cater to them. Food is good but just too expensive. Won't be back here.

Good service and clean inside. Lots of bagel flavors and sandwiches but if you're looking for a true bagel, this isn't it. Super thick bagels and too greasy.

We went on a Sunday and they open at 8:30am. Good selection of bagels. Ordered the "ZEGG" bagel and grabbed the everything bagel and garlic bagel. Definitely would come back.

    Embarrassment of a breakfast sandwich

I called the bagel shop in my hometown and thanked them for their service from the parking lot of this establishment after eating an abysmal breakfast sandwich. Staff was nice. Don't go for the food.

Look how beautiful these are! I went to Hidden Bagel for the first time and got the Vegfest for $12…read moreand added a turkey slice for an extra $3. I got everything on top of a cheddar Jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese. This came with avocado, sprouts, pickled red onions, and tomatoes. This was delicious but I wish the bagel itself had more jalapeno flavor. It had great texture which I was pleased with and the sandwich itself was a decent size but a little steep at $15. Next time I might pass on the pickled red onions as they were a little strong and took away from some of the other milder ingredients. My husband got the breakfast bagel which came with sausage egg and cheese on a Jalapeno bagel with scallion cream cheese. He thought everything was delicious and meld perfectly but he thought the bagel itself lacked jalapeno flavor too. I think the cheddar on the outside was the strongest flavor. His Bagel came in at $12.00

Honestly, Wooden City really lives up to its hype. It's an upscale spot right in downtown Spokane,…read morebut still feels warm and lively instead of overly formal. Definitely one of the best-quality restaurants in the city, where every dish was thoughtfully made and packed with flavor. What we ordered: Starters: - Spring Salad: Super fresh and well-balanced. The snap peas were crisp, with strawberries added for sweetness, and the goat cheese + pistachios gave it a creamy, nutty contrast. The lemon & tarragon vinaigrette tied everything together with a light, herby flavor. - Jerk Cauliflower: Crunchy cauliflower with Caribbean spices with a creamy jerk sauce, good as a side Appetizers: - Peel 'n' Eat Shrimp: Really juicy and spicy from the Cajun spice. There's butter to dip in but I found it too greasy and prefer lemon instead. - Blistered Hungarian Peppers: Smoky pepper with some sweetness and savory from the sausage and cheddar. Served with a toasted focaccia that soak up all the sauce. Main dishes: - Chicken Schnitzel: One of the must-orders. Crispy, golden breading, super tender inside. The lemon & caper butter sauce added acidity and richness that elevated the whole dish. Yoy have to order extra because it's never enough for the table. Yes, it's that good. - Marbled Duroc Pork Chop: Another favorite . Juicy and tender, with 'nduja salsa brava bringing a spicy depth, while lemon tahini and marcona almonds added creaminess and crunch. I always missed tasting this dish like my first time - Beet Ravioli: Earthy and slightly sweet flavor, nice texture but I hate goat cheese so I'm not really a fan of this dish - Pesto Bacon Pizza: Delicious crunch, loved the combo of mozzarella and gorgonzola, kind of creamy with a bit of funk. Balsamic do help balance and gave it a sweet tangy flavor, or else it would be too heavy for me (yes, not a pizza fan) Drinks & Dessert - Not Mai Tai mocktail: very aesthetically looking drink, but a bit too sweet to my liking - Apple crisp: cozy and warm, with baked apple & pecan crumble and served with vanilla ice cream on top. Delicious ice cream. - Pumpkin cheesecake: My 3rd favorite of the night, I still dream about it!! Rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, you shouldn't skip this!!! That said, I do have to take away a couple points for timing. Our foods took 45 mins to come out even though I had reservations and note the menu items via the email, and the wait time between each dish was also... very confusing. It broke the flow of our meal. But once the food hit the table, it was hard to stay mad, so I forgave them.

I feel like I just went to a dress rehearsal about a play about a group of friends who got together…read moreand said "How about we open a restaurant? That would be fun!" Tonight was just so strange. First, I had no idea who was an employee. There were two girls that were going around together over and over, they kept stopping at tables so I think they worked there...but they never had anything in their hands. Our server seemed to keep forgetting we were there. Or just forgetting she was employed in general. Seriously just not with it. She was very nice...when she remembered we were there. I will say the pizza crust tasted amazing. So many places that serve pizza think of the crust as just something to put toppings on, but this had great flavor. Sadly, it was rolled too thin and said toppings made it somewhat soggy. Caesar salad was ok. Romaine was really fresh and crisp and the homemade croutons were still a little warm. Very good. However, the dressing was rather bland. And when I asked for pepper for it, our waitress first had it in her head that I expected some kind of peppers on my salad. When she finally understood I meant black pepper, she went away. Eventually she returned. Not with a pepper grinder or a shaker, but a sauce bowl that had about 3 tablespoons of black pepper in it. I wouldn't use that much pepper if I cooked for myself for a week and used it with every dish. Had to ask for knives for some of people's meals. I will say the spicy lamb rigatoni was amazing, pasta just right and the sauce and flavor was peak. I am just not sure what to say, other than this was the strangest and most disorganized dining experience I have ever had. I think if a grown up showed up and brought the kids into line, this place would be amazing. Also, for what we paid, I expected to be wowed, not left wondering what I just experienced.
