One of the most charming décors I have seen in a while! The inside is like an Italian grandma's rustic cottage, and the outside patio is like entering a fairy tale. There are vintage Tiffany style glass-painted chandeliers all over the place. The outdoor patio is covered with real grapevines, and you can see grapes hanging from the ceiling! Luckily, we went for a late lunch and had the patio all to ourselves! Now to the food - the pepperoni pizza was to die for; the charred sourdough crust was so soft and chewy! My husband never eats a pizza crust, but he devoured the entire thing this time. They offer various dipping sauces for the crust, and we got the garlic dipping sauce which paired so well with the sourdough crust! The best part? They give you a free loaf of sourdough bread to take home after your meal! How amazing and thoughtful is that?! And oh, very cute bathroom as well!

First time trying this restaurant and the homey stylish feel is so Portland coded! I loved the vibes and the worker there was super friendly and checked in on our table multiple times. I got here right when they opened and it wasn't busy but about an hour into their opening, the indoor seating was pretty much full. There's also a heated patio outside which I didn't see but looked cute in pictures. Got the pepperoni and garlic arugula pizzas. I really liked the sourdough crust. Next time I would want to try their tiramisu!

While visiting from Dallas, The Turning Peel was highly recommended. What a great spot! Service was top notch, pizza was amazing, ambiance was calming and comfy. Definitely a must try!

No,no,no, just Cheese with prosciutto and olives.

We had heard good things about this restaurant and we enjoyed a good lunch. The pizza dough was really good and the toppings were great! The service was quick and friendly. My two downsides were that I didn't like the drink options and I also found it too dark. The option to order via the app was unhelpful as neither of our phones worked well inside.

Great as usual. Enjoying a delightful lunch on a beautiful autumn day. The $9 lunch special Margherita is the bomb. Best sourdough pizza in town!

Took my wife here for her 40th birthday and it did not disappoint. I'm just gonna skip the food real quick and start off by saying How family friendly this place is. We're willing buckets of toys that kids can grab and bring to their table to play with. Yes please! And then the food... We were absolutely blown away by how quick the food (and drinks) arrived at our table. And arrived with all the flavors we could have imagine! Will be back.

Literally theeeee best Neapolitan style pizza in Portland!! Sourdough crust is amazinggg. So fluffy and chewy with the perfect tanginess. Pizzas don't feel heavy and all the toppings are the perfect ratio. Ordering system is via QR code and there is a huge back patio that is beautiful. Full of plants and grape vines, it truly feels like you are over at a friend's backyard having pizza. So cozy and homey. You can't go wrong with any pizza here, and they also have sauces (crust dips) that are amazing! Seriously, just come and you won't be disappointed.

Phenomenal sourdough pizza in a serene setting. Extremely casual, order via a QR code. Very child friendly. We had the beets, arugula salad, pepperoni pizza, seasonal fig pizza, and truffle mushroom pizza, and loved every part of it.

My cousin had been wanting to try this place for a while and I'm so glad we did! It's right over the Ross Island bridge. The pizzeria looks like a home! It's a green house and covered in vines. It was like we were walking into a home. We were greeted immediately when we entered. The hostess was warm and friendly. Inside, it was classy, with the wood, wine, and kitschy decor. There were paper menus next to the door. It consists of mainly pizza, salads, soups, apps, and desserts. I decided to get the pepperoni jalapeño hot honey added Italian sausage to it. For my drink, I got the gimlet. It came out to around $30. The hostess let us know that we are free to take a seat anywhere we'd like, inside or outside. We decided on outside since it was a nice day out. The outside patio looked whimsical and there was a lot more seating outside than in from what it looks like. It seems very private on the tables is your number and. QR code if you prefer to order it from your phone vs inside with the hostess. There is a cute shack as the bathroom. We didn't have to wait too long for our order. We received our drinks first and then the pizzas. My drink was not too sweet or salty, just perfect! The pizzas looked beautiful! So hot, warm, and delicious. The pizzas are made from sourdough. My pizza was thin, but so filling. The hot honey really added to how unique the pizza is. The pizza is 11" so not too big or small. The hostess came to check in on us every now and then to make sure everything was alright. There are to go pizza boxes and tinfoil for your leftovers. I also saw the hostess offer water to a customers dogs that also out in the patio. Staff are attentive and accommodating. We said good bye to the staff. We were satisfied! This is a great spot to lounge, talk, and have a bite for you VIBE.

food is excellent here! I would recommend checking out this hidden gem. Only con is that you don't really have service there, you have to get all utensils/plates yourself and no one checks on you but i'd still recommend it

Very Portland-esque pizza spot with homey, living room style decor and a beautiful back garden. The pizza was pretty good! But unfortunately mine was a bit burnt and I honestly didn't find it to be very flavorful. Crust was really good and dipping sauces is such a good idea. Wish we would have gotten the tiramisu! Drinks were good and honestly I'd go back just to have an aperol in their garden. Make a reservation! Folks behind us were told an hour or more for a table on a Friday night and we walked right in.

Pizza sign at entrance.

Finally stopped by right at opening on a weekday for open seating. Enjoyed a salad and two pizzas with three of their different special dipping sauces. Ordering at the counter was convenient and the staff was friendly and happy to answer any questions.

Margherita and Pepperoni jalapeno Hot Honey
Tram D.

My friend and I got the marg and the pepperoni jalapeño hot honey. I was most intrigued by the sourdough and I thought that was a nice touch and flavor. however, I thought the dough itself was floppy and chewy like it was undercooked. Flavor on the marg was decent nothing special. the pepperoni had a good flavor and was my favorite of the two. tiramisu also wasn't that good.

This was the arugula, pizza and the margarita along with the whipped ricotta, honey garlic dip

New York and Chicago are still trying to catch up. But we are in the Pacific Northwest, nowhere near Loui's Pizza or Buddy's Pizza (Detroit pizza staples). So many times, what tries to pass off as "Detroit style" falls miles short. Then came "Ranch" where I stood outside and screwed up enough courage to try yet another Detroit style pizza. The interior was small, one wall lined with tomato sauce cans, the menu was bolted to a wall. The smell took me back and that gave me some hope. The pizza arrived at the table, the wife and I have varied tastes so we each ordered a quarter pizza. Mine was pepperoni, the wife had a veggie. The pizzas looked right, square, caramelized crispy edges, heavy toppings... and then on the side of the plate was this cup of ranch dressing. Duh! "Ranch" obviously has to have a good ranch, right? I dipped my pinky finger in the ranch and took a taste. You would not think one ranch can be so far ahead of the others, but ranch is the place for ranch, as well as pizza. My first bite brought a smile to my face, it was just, right in every way that a Detroit pie should be. I have been back to try their #4 pie with sausage and ricotta, and I am looking forward to more trips. If all that was not enough, the service was friendly, the food came out so quick (about 10 minutes) and the place was nice and clean.

The first time, we had a pepperoni pizza, a side of meatballs, and grape sorbetto. We liked the meatballs so much that, the second time, we had the Alley Kat pizza and, again, the grape sorbetto. The pizzas were both excellent--good crust with a great chew, good proportions for the toppings, and a cheese that tasted like cheese. (reductive? Maybe, but so much mozzarella is bland and rubbery that it seems worth mentioning.) The grape sorbetto was an excellent way to finish the meal both times: sweet, but not too sweet, and very bright to cleanse the palate.

Unfortunately, this was both our first and last visit. I don't think I've ever disliked a pizza before, but this may be the first one I would genuinely call bad. I enjoy wood-fired pizza and don't mind a little char, but somehow this pizza tasted noticeably bitter despite having very little visible charring. Whether it was the lack of sauce, the sauce itself being quite bland, or simply an imbalance of flavors, the end result just wasn't pleasant. The biggest issue is the value. A $25 cheese pizza doesn't need to be life-changing, but it should at least taste better than Costco's. In this case, unfortunately, it didn't. If your goal is to enjoy great pizza, I'd recommend one of the many other pizza spots in the area instead.
