The restaurant was decorated so nice and festive for Easter with a huge wall mural and seat covers for all the chairs. We couldn't help but smile! The restaurant filled up fast after we were seated and I can see why. The staff from hostess to all the servers were warm and friendly. They took care of our all of needs with a smile and attentiveness that was refreshing. Their buffet was VERY good starting with a small but filled salad bar table including a delicious homemade potato salad - one of the better tasting ones that I've had in awhile. It also had pudding included. I didn't try it because I seen on the hot table a dessert that I wanted. The hot food buffet had four different meats, roast lamb with mint jelly on the side, roast turkey with a cranberry sauce on the side, ham and roast pork. The vegetables on the steam table were homemade mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and a split pea soup. I tried the ham, the turkey with cranberry sauce and for the first time ever roast lamb with mint jelly as my meats. They were all delicious and I was surprised that I liked the lamb with mint jelly because I was always a little leary to try lamb because I heard it could have a gamey taste. Their lamb didn't not taste gamey at all - well seasoned and roasted perfectly. I did enjoy it plain and with the jelly. The turkey was moist and delicious. I dipped it in their brown gravy - again very, very good. Even their split pea soup was to my liking. I enjoyed everything including a small salad and their spiced cake with whipped cream topped off my meal! Even their ice tea was extremely good. I couldn't find fault with anything. We will definitely be back to try their buffet again on a normal day.

Wow, what an experience... and not in a good way…read more I believe the place is called Stinky Rose or Mariana's--either way, I won't be back. To start with the positives: our server was kind, attentive, and clearly trying his best. The pizza itself was actually pretty good--I'd give it an 8/10. Unfortunately, everything else completely missed the mark. A spider literally ran across a slice of pizza at our table (this wasn't even a full pie--just a $4 slice). When we asked to speak with a manager, the owner came over and immediately acted like we were making it up. There was no apology, no concern, and no effort to make the situation right. She simply said, "oh... really, okay," picked up the plate, and walked away. There was no follow-up or resolution, and we were later brought a bill that still included the slice. We even tried to locate the spider to show we weren't lying--that's how dismissive the interaction felt. When I asked the owner whether she intended to still charge for the slice she had taken, she responded while walking away, "Do you want that or it taken off?" The tone and attitude were dismissive and unprofessional. At that point, it wasn't even about the slice--it was the complete lack of basic customer service. Had the situation been handled with even minimal professionalism, we likely would have paid and left without issue. On top of that, the seafood linguini was disappointing--no flavor, no garlic, very small portions of seafood that tasted frozen, and empty clam shells. Overall: * Pizza: good * Server: great * Owner: very poor experience * Food (outside of pizza): disappointing The rest of the staff was friendly, and it seems like this place has potential. We had heard good things about the pizza and made the drive to try it, which makes the experience even more disappointing. With some improvements--especially in how issues are handled--it could be a much better experience. I would not return and will be choosing other Italian options moving forward.

We had difficulty talking with the servers as the volume of music was high, but they did turn it down when we requested. Portions were large, but i was disappointed with the pasta on my dish. There was a large clump that was stuck together (see photo) and it made that portion of my meal offputting. I showed the pasta to the server who came to clear the table and they offered to get me a new portion of pasta which i declined.

Now, we have an unspoken (but strictly enforced) vacation rule: no cooking. If we so much as touch a stove while away from home, the vacation gods might revoke our travel privileges. So, out we went in search of a good meal. With plenty of choices around, one spot immediately caught our attention--and my Argentinian heart skipped a beat. Dinner was an absolute delight! The restaurant is small and cozy, and we managed to snag the last table (cue victory dance). We shared three empanadas, Fugazzeta, and a salad--all delicious. But let's talk about the Fugazzeta, shall we? For those unfamiliar, Fugazzeta is a glorious, cheese-stuffed pizza from Argentina. Picture an avalanche of gooey cheese sandwiched between two layers of dough, crowned with caramelized onions. It's a masterpiece. I have been in the U.S. since 1978, and I had yet to find Fugazzeta here--until now! The moment I saw it on the menu, I knew it was destiny. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint. Cheesy? Oh yes. Borderline illegal amounts of cheese? Possibly. Crispy crust on the edges, soft and pillowy everywhere else--pure perfection. The empanadas? Excellent. Paired wonderfully with a glass of Malbec. Service was warm, friendly, and welcoming--just the cherry on top of an already great meal.
