George gave us very clear instructions and safety guidelines as well as some very helpful tips and tricks. We threw for an hour with George providing assistance when requested in-between helping other parties. We had the opportunity to add more time at the end. There is a large section of beers and ciders, several are from local breweries. There were sodas and water available too. There was limited snacks available; however, we were also able to order food from a local restaurant, Fired up, less than a block away that delivered it, by foot, to us at no extra charge. At the end George helped us take pictures and even joined one at the end. We all had a blast. Looking forward visiting Axe Champs again.

I had a margarita as well. The food, drink and Waitress was good. Her service was impeccable. Then after the wings, I had to go to the restroom and wash my hands. Clean bathrooms! We had 4 of us and the timeframe was perfect. We did a regular target game, a balloon popping game, and a zombie game. All fun for different points. Your score shows on top of the lane (think bowling). Setup is two lanes side by side with the axes in the middle. There are two axe options for you to try, a larger one you can throw with one or two hands and a smaller, lighter one that you use one hand for. I preferred the two hand axe, did better with this. Fun time for sure. They sell non-alcoholic drinks Ks and I believe you can bring beer (we weren't aware but another group had). This was my first time- Will be back!

We ended up using a few hints, but still escaped with 11 minutes to spare, which made it even more exciting. The biggest difference this time was that we felt in control of the experience. Hints were available when we wanted them instead of being given unsolicited, which made solving the puzzles much more satisfying. A special thank you to Hailey, the General Manager, for personally reaching out, helping set everything up, and making sure we had a great experience. That level of customer service really stood out and was greatly appreciated. Thanks again, Hailey! Keep up the outstanding customer service. I'm gonna say 5 stars with room for improvement. I have paintballed on more fields then I can count…read moreon one hand. Their fields were well set up and the variety was nice. I did favor certain fields because after all, it's Florida... fight in the shade whenever possible. They have a very generous military discount in a few occasions each month, but prices are very reasonable even if you don't qualify for those. They split entrance fees into 2 sessions, 9-1 or 2-6. Personally, I'd like an all day option woth a significant discount rather then buying 2 sessions. But in this heat, 1 session is probably enough. Rentals are ok. Hoppers are good. Barrels are short. Ammo cost is incredible. I remember paying $80 in Colorado a decade ago. So anything cheaper then that is really good. I also only had 3 or 4 balls break in the barrel. The games we played were all single elimination. This definitely promotes more cautious play..but there is so much room for improvement here. I've played reincarnation, president, gun game, alamo... you name it. And... reincarnation forces more firing which means more profit and less down time for shooters. Win win.. For paintballers, I recommend and hope they add some creativity. For non paintballers, it's fun and safe but I recommend you come out on a day that isn't 80 degrees. It's hot. Trees block breeze. Shade is sporadic. And you want gloves, pants, boots, neck guard, and long sleeve shirt. It's hot. If you are worried about it hurting... it can hurt for sure. Most painful areas are neck and hands so gloves are a must. Neck gets hit infrequently so maybe a scarf or something. If you do a short sleeve shirt and then a long sleeve on top, that takes most of the bite away from being shot. You get the idea..

Really fun rainy day afternoon in Amelia Island. They have about two dozen machines from historic…read more50+ year old machines to new ones. Pricing is all you can play - no quarters needed! Admission is $14/day for adults or $12/day for kids. You can also play for 1 hour for $10 - which is what we did as we got there about an hour before they closed. We felt it was a fair price and a good value. Almost all of the machines were working, which is great (and not the case at some of the places like this I've been.) Both adults and teens had fun. The space is pretty basic. There are a few games in the front room, and about twenty in the back room. There is a bathroom in the far back. We'd go back even if it wasn't raining!
