In airsoft, this is absolutely a five star experience. JJ Moore and Justin are absolutely amazing. If you want to have a good experience with airsoft, there's no place like this in the state of Florida perhaps the country. Walter congratulations for an amazing business and an incredible team to support everyone here.! definitely five stars!!!!! On a more specific note on JJ Moore, he is one of the most nationally recognized Airsoft Gun Smith's. The man is an absolute wizard and deep fingers in the industry. I am very grateful to you JJ. read more

Since I started playing Airsoft a couple years ago, battalion has always been kept me coming back. Their arena is always being improved. I absolutely love the new speedsoft section. It's a lot more fun to play that part of the field now. The staff are amazing. They're a bunch of great guys who simply want people to enjoy playing airsoft and whenever I have kit issues, they've been so nice to do everything they can to keep me in the game. 10/10, I invite buddies who don't play all the time. read more

Great customer service! Great experience. Justin and Skyler are great staff that took great care of us Wounded Warrior Project alumni. Thanks, BAA! read more

Came here with my boyfriend for a birthday party. While I didn't play, he had an amazing time at this arena! They have seating in the center of the area for parents (or scared girlfriends) to be able to watch! If you are just there to watch, I would say to definitely bring a jacket... I was freezing (but obviously those who are playing and running around were sweating). I would definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something new to try or if you're hosting a birthday party! read more

The facility looks great and the gameplay is very fast paced. Entry fee is a little high and I showed up later in the afternoon so I would probably recommend showing up early to get your moneys worth keep in mind. In addition to the entrance fee, they will charge you an additional six dollars for an arm band. I kind of didn't like the fact they didn't tell me right away only because of the fact I had to walk into the arena for them to tell me after oh wait you need to buy an arm band. Just BE prepped. I did have a great time though. Staff is courteous read more

My son and his friends love this place and he begged us to book it for his 12th Birthday party. This was an awesome experience for all of us. We called ahead and the staff answered all our questions and allowed us to reserve a table for the party. The kids literally had a ball and were kept occupied for over 5 hours. The pizza, drinks and cake provided were fantastic, but more than that was their amazing staff. The woman who runs the snack bar was A++++, so accommodating and helpful. As soon as we left the arena and got in the car, the kids asked when could they come back and were actively plotting a return. read more

We attended a 7 yr olds Birthday here, and used Nerf dart guns. It was as much fun for the adults as it was for the kids! Great cafe area downstairs that was perfect for the eating space! Very cool, was not expecting to have such a great experience!!! read more

Having my son friends play for a birthday air-soft. Price is about what you would pay for any other group event but didn't plan it not sure if there are better deals. Food Lounge is nice with the air hockey, ping pong and Xbox my wife says the milk shake is great. read more

This is an amazing first time airsoft space with really nice and selfless people. I went here for my first time yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. Safe to say my brother got me into airsoft and if I ever come to Georgia again, I'll come here. It's in Florida, but I would definitely recommend staying in Georgia because if you end up going to the beaches, the ones in Georgia are cleaner, clearer, and there aren't many people at them. Again, 10/10 would recommend read more

Nice place but ventilation is horrific! I've been to other airsoft arenas, including Miami Airsoft, and their ventilation is way better! You can barely breathe in this place. Bring your own portable fan to help you cool down a bit. They do NOT check any outside guns before game play. So anyone can walk in to this place with powerful full custom guns making the game unfair for everyone. I have never experienced this at any other arena. Safety IS ALWAYS priority at any other arena, but obviously not here. Last thing, they do not allow you to bring in any coolers with outside food or drinks because they want you to purchase their stuff. The place is pretty expensive . Period. read more

My kids had been pestering me to take them to this place, so today we gave it a shot. We paid $125 for a family four pack special that included 4 guns, 4 masks, 4 entry fees, 4000 pellets, a pizza and 4 drinks. I tried to call before I went but no one answered the phone and my messages were not returned. They do tend to have a pretty active website though. Here a few things I learned as I went, fill out the waivers online ahead of time, it will save you time. There is a safety brief before you play and you need to have a very serious conversation with your kids about how much these things hurt, they will leave a mark. After one game my kids were done, so I was stuck with all the stuff I purchased and there are no refunds. As far as game play goes, the games go pretty fast but when you are using their guns and someone is playing with a custom air fed gun, it is not much fun. I would recommend maybe a party rental or trying to avoid regulars if it is your first time bc a stock gun cannot compete with some of the stuff other people have and you just don't feel involved in the game. Additionally the stock guns require you to feed the mag by spinning a wheel at the bottom and they will jam or not fire if you don't do this. I felt like I spent a lot of time trying to get the gun to work, my friend had the same problem. The staff are actually pretty helpful and the lady that runs the canteen was one of the nicest people I have ever met. After one of my sons got hurt, they came to check on him. However, they do have a blind spot for the regulars who will try to stack teams or run uncalibrated weapons. The egos can get pretty big in there. I don't think we will go back, but if your kid has been asking for a trip to play airsoft be ready to shell out some big bucks and be there all day bc I tried to shoot 4000 pellets in a day and could not do it. read more

This place is first class and it is for Airsoft (no paintball). Located in a downtown industrial area of Jacksonville, the owner has put a significant amount of money in renovating this building. It is amazing. It has 48,000 square feet of battle area, plus a viewing area, 2,000 sf lounge area with food, ping pong, game stations and sitting area. There are lockers provided for gear and integrity and honesty are stressed and the owner is open about his Christian beliefs. His goal, he says is to create a place that kids can come and feel safe. They run different types of games, entry fee is $20 per day, $15 for two hours. League play is Thursdays. While my son is an avid airsofter, it is not unusual for me to be out there with him. But if not, they have a great lounge and a protected area where you can watch your kids go at it. read more

We just got into Airsoft and love it. The team at battalion are courteous and knowledgeable!! We'll be back!

I usually NEVER leave reviews but Battalion hands down deserves more than 5 stars. Booked a reservation for a 12 person birthday party for my boyfriend & his twin brother's 24th birthday. Everyone was absolutely amazing & provided the best hospitality & made everyone feel so welcome. The party was also to reunite my boyfriend with his brother as a surprise & Chris helped out in every way possible. Was more than happy to answer all of my questions & accommodations. Everything went smoothly & perfectly & everyone was so nice ! Battalion is definitely an adrenaline rush you'll wanna come back to. Thank you everyone & especially Chris so much for the perfect experience ! read more

They don't owe us nothing! From start to finish my 15 year old's birthday was amazing! The management and workers were very professional, accommodating and kind. The activities were exciting, organized and safe. My son wants to return as a regular. read more

Fairly nice place , I played for the first time here and let me just say that the more you play the less the bbs hurt , unless you encounter a cheater (fairly common here) that has their FPS cranked up to 700 , and most of the time the cheaters are friends with the referees and justice isn't served , if you have a kid with you I recommend you wear heavier protection (full face mask , gloves , more than one jacket or sweater , vest , cargo pants , long socks , and whatever you feel is necessary) over all a nice place , the break room is great and the lady who works there is sweet , they also have an Xbox and some TVs , not to mention the store. The lack of five stars is because of cheaters and the occasional rude employee. read more

Five stars it is. This rating is based on the excited chatter and the huge (if exhausted) happy smiles on the faces of 4 teenage boys. Even the quiet low key one was visibly overjoyed with his experience. All 4 actually thanked me of their own accord. Genuine gratitude from teenagers! Color me flabbergasted. Now they also want to go as an entire extended family and pit the adults against the kids. Whoo boy--I can already see my boys ganging up on me as payback for insisting they do homework and chores instead of 24 hours of video games and napping. It might could happen. Maybe.... I'm a novice at airsoft, as were my boys, but they said despite their many mistakes in the arena, everyone was nice. The arena itself is not air conditioned but is huge and laid out with obstacles. They have different "missions" or games so it's not a free for all Wild West scenario. I like that there was focus to the airsoft gunplay. I myself enjoyed the air condition of the hangout lounge. That's more my speed. I'm at my happiest when the spawn are elated, grateful and excited about their day. I already know that this place is gonna be a top destination spot for my kids. read more

Had my son's birthday party there today and it was NOT a good experience. From the very start, it was so unorganized. I had to keep tracking down staff to ask questions the entire time. I was the one that had to coordinate with the lady in food area, all the pizzas and drinks for the kids. When it was to be ready and how many. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars is because my son said he and his friends had a decent time during the very short time that was allotted for their private session in the arena. read more

The arena is a great design and the refs are really nice I recommend

Arena is huge and a really nice place to play at and had a really good time in that aspect. Cheaters really ruin the experience and it's bad when you tell the refs and they do nothing because they are friends with them and don't want them to possibly be banned. Also someone picked up my personal magazine with my name on it and I asked the refs THREE separate times to ask over the mic to have people check for my mag and they guy at the front never did it once! The field and pricing is one of the best in the COUNTRY and it's sad that cheaters and lazy unwilling staff ruin the experience... read more

Thank you Chris and his staff. Our sons are regular at your arena. They always have fun there.

We purchased a Living Social Deal and I am so glad we tried this place out! M.M.'s review says it all, I really can't add much to it. As a parent of homeschooling boys I was comfortable dropping them off and not staying; which says a lot as I wanted to be sure they would be safe and there would not be inappropriate stuff going on. (bullying, excessive language, etc). Lots of referees, adults on campus at all times, and organized airsoft games so it is not just a free-for-all. Even my husband was impressed, which says a lot. (Well, I guess it would if you knew him). Thank you Chris for investing in this place! read more

We drove up from Orlando so my 10 year old son could try this indoor Airsoft arena. It has a knowledgeable and patient staff who welcomed us like we were long time customers. My son is worn out with a big smile! 5 stars read more

My son and nephew have been here a few times over the last few months with their friends. It is a great place for them to come out and Air Soft for hours. For your underage kids, like mine- you will need to fill out a waiver that they keep on file. They run specials and deals on a regular basis and keep their website and social media updated. They follow Duval county school's schedule so on the days the kids are out, they have something fun to do. You will need to follow their rules as far as your equipment goes. If not, they can rent all of the gear they need directly from them at a reasonable price. My kid has been here several times under both conditions and always comes home happy. They have an area for parents to stay and watch. They have a shop on site where they can purchase supplies and gear or get repairs to their equipment at reasonable prices as well. Food and drinks are also available, but our kids like to eat afterwards- so they haven't had anything edible there. It is nice to have the option available to them if they need it. Plenty of parking, though the surrounding area is industrial and there is not much going to around without taking a little bit of a drive. It is a great place for them to stay and play indoors as opposed to being outside when the weather is hot/ cold, raining or just undesirable. I feel comfortable with them staying because the staff really has created a safe environment for the players. My son always has a good time and has not had any issues with other players. It's so nice to have a place for him to get up and move because he is always tired once they leave. They really get in a lot of time and have a blast. read more

This place exceeded my expectations. Staff was great, owner gave us the safety lecture and it was on par and just what was needed. Ref was super and kept games safe and organized. Very well run establishment!!! Paid $40 bucks each for play/ gear and bought some ammo. I bought some snacks and just watched but my husband and son had a fun afternoon. read more

Usually never disappointed by this place, but today I went in around 5:30pm right after work to play a few games before they close at 8pm. After calling about an hour before I got there, no answer. When I got there I was told that they were closed for the day and we came from the beaches and it's about a 30 minute drive. Needless to say that blew and wasted all that time getting stuff and driving there wasting gas. read more

This is a SPECTACULAR place for kids, teens, and adults. It fulfills most guys desires to act out the strategies set forth in the video games in which they SIT and play. Everyone is well supervised and they have a massive array of gear to buy and rent. The owners are great and work with the kids and parents in person or over the phone! They have specials almost every Friday and camps in the summer. Though it may seem a long distance, not far from Riverside, it only takes 20 minutes to get there from Orange Park. Do the math-our boys spent 9 hours there for $20 (if they own their gear-$40 if they don't) to get off their behinds and have a great time! The owners often bring in JSO officers, military personnel, and others, to help them with tactics. Safety is thei top priority. You can visit them online at www.battalionairsoftarena.com. Everybody is so exhausted when they leave there that I can't imagine they can do anything for several days. My husband and my son who has children of his own, played with their sons and grandsons and were worn out the first time! There is an area for the players to take a break, watch TV, play video games, and eat so they can get ready for their next round. Over all, I'd give it a 10! read more

If your new, bring a jacket, gloves, and a hat. Knee pads would be nice.

I went yesterday to this Arena for the first time and enjoyed myself alongside my Friends Andre, William, Ethan, Aaron, Logan and Jonathan. We played as MVD during a mini tournament when I lost my Barrel Sleeve that is required to be on at all times. I spoke to Clayton and Dylan about finding it but they really couldn't help me. There was another guy only description I could give;skinny, tall, caucasian and green eyes; that guy said he was sorry for what had occurred and gave me a green one till I or someone else had found the Black Barrel Sleeve I had originally purchased. I would also like to state that Chris the owner is a friendly man and helps all of his "Airsoft Family " out! Thank you Chris for the experience, I love the Field, staff is great, and music is top notch! read more

If you want to play a fair game i would recommend anther location. There are a group of "regulars" the refs allow to play together that won't call their shots and will overshoot inexperienced kids. The problem is the place had ultimate potential and I really like to owner but the experience doesn't reflect any of the "Chrisitian Values" that are supposedly part of their ethos. There are a lot of parent who may not see what an experienced player sees as a "fair" game. I am disappointed that new kids wanting to try airsoft will likely be treated unfairly in the arena. read more

i come here to play all the time, best staff, players, field, just overall good. they have a very nice lounge, store, and so on.

This place is amazing. You can have so much fun and also the workers and the owner are the nicest people I know

The guy was very rude. The one with long hair (ponytail). Great set up and nice lady downstairs. Food was not good but I didn't expect much. The guy who goes over everything looks like he hates his job and a lot of people complained about him. It wouldn't be a big deal and I would like to come back but you constantly see him and he kills your vibe. I think I'll have to pass on coming back but it was super fun when playing. Oh one more thing we got there 10 min before they open because we traveled 1 1/2 to get there I asked the employee which door I would use when they open. He got smart with me a told me I would have to wait til they open. Which was not what I asked. The two woman who work there are really nice but the young kid and the old guy who tells you how amazing he is and how he has been in the military suck! Not coming back due to them. I will say the owner was super nice and even helped out my brother in getting a gun. We spent 100's dollars there and I just wanted way better customer service from the staff read more

Its fun its great to go through the all those obstacles and tried to shoot the enemy team plus it's military nature like.

This place was amazing. I have to say I give all the credit to my great experience to my favorite ref "Daddy Dylan". He is an outstanding employee and does amazing work. Not so sure about the rest of the refs but Daddy Dylan is definitely worth coming back for. read more
