Wow! Coming here made me fell like I was a kiddo again! But my how the gun industry has grown since…read moremy earlier years! It was fun to come into a highly reputable firearms outfit and learn about what I had missed for a large number of years. Pretty much everyone knows the big names, like Glock, S&W, Sig Sauer, Colt, etc. But there are a ton of new kids on the block that really catch the eye and look very tempting to want to own. Well, for a day, I wanted to look at something new and see how this world of firearms appears today. I have to say, Gun Gallery appears to have everything right and what you need if you desire to purchase arms and a place for target practice. As a store visitor, I was highly grateful for the time the GG Rep took to assist me with my questions and allowing me to hold a few pieces. This was much appreciated and certainly inclined me to desire to visit the store again in the future if I wish to purchase a firearm here. In the meantime, I can say they have a large array of pistols to choose from. I had to revert to my love of 007 movies and see they had a Walther PPK (what James Bond made famous). Oh my! They did! It felt good to hold for one a moment of time in my life! On another note: there are rifles here as well, along with AR-15s. Most of the rifles are in a different area near the target practice area. This is an impressive full service gun shop. They assist you with registration during your purchases and offer both personal and classroom training that enthusiasts can choose from. It also has a training class that will lead to a permit to carry as well. They do offer weapons for testing to help customers choose the best pistols or rifles for themselves. It would be difficult to hear of anyone leaving here unhappy. The Gun Gallery crew is really all about their customers and offering their best efforts toward them. Recommend: VERY HIGH

I learned so much and left feeling genuinely confident handling firearms as tools, with care and intention. Rick was phenomenal. He clearly taught me how to load safely, understand where the safety mechanisms are, and how to properly use what I called my "aim thingy." When I felt nervous, he validated me while still correcting me in a way that built confidence rather than embarrassment. His real-life experience added depth and credibility to the training. Chris reinforced everything with a calm, gentle, and reassuring approach, and the two of them work seamlessly together. Last but not least, Calvin was a sweetheart and a great addition to the team. I've known about this place for years and wish I'd gone sooner. I finally put my fear aside, and I'm so glad I did. I can't wait to go back and continue practicing and improving. I was also introduced to another local business owner and merchant, Kountry Boyz Gun and Pawn, and I'm looking forward to visiting their shop as well. Highly recommend.

This place is out in the middle of nowhere. I guess it kinda needs to be as their website states the facility has four acres of land and an eight acre lake. The only thing that identified that we were at the right place was a small sign on the gate. I parked and was warmly greeted by Dawson. He advised us where to go and to check in with our vouchers. Prior to coming here I had reserved the spots as instructed on the Groupon. This is a family owned business operated by a mother (Lureen) and son (Dawson) team. Both are instructors but Dawson was the one that lead the session that day. They started by telling us about the bow types (they used Olympic quality bow), proper handling and the safety aspects. The first hour was to get familiar with the stance and bows. The session had 14 people so Dawson would take up 3 - 4 at a time and coach them on the proper techniques. He was very encouraging and patient. By the 2nd hour, most everyone was more comfortable with shooting they started a challenge to determine the winner. While people were waiting their turns, they were entertained by the free range animals there. The pigs were both really cute and friendly, there was a rescue duck, two rescue horses, 11 goats (they were roaming somewhere so no one saw them) and probably a bunch of other animals we didn't see. Dawson was even surprised when he saw the duck and asked when his mom had gotten her. Lol. Right now it's hot everywhere and I wasn't sure how they would conduct the class outside in the heat. There's a shade canopy for people to sit under and it had a nice breeze but if you sweat easily, maybe wait until it gets cooler for a more comfortable experience. I'm not sure but they might have evening sessions as well. Besides archery, gardening & fishing classes are offered as well as kayak rentals. Both Lureen and Dawson were very personable and they did an great job in educating everyone about the sport and made sure they had fun while doing it. Come and check them out!

There's lots of paper target configurations to choose from. There's cleaning supplies, ammo holders, boxes of ammunition, and even water bottles for sale. You can't bring any liquids in the range for safety reasons, preventing slip and falls. Don't forget to empty your firearms before you come in because you will be added to the bucket of shame. Safety FIRST! The range is nice for an indoor environment. Lots of fans to help ventilation of gun smoke. You will need to be aware some gun residue will be in your nose later! There's a fair amount of lanes and there are some busier times than others. They do offer training, memberships, and backgrounds checks for purchasing firearms. The staff is very cool, calm, and professional. I like that there's a good decorum and respect in the atmosphere. I have not experienced any braggadocio or false bravado nor Beavis and Butt-Head. Respect to the team here! Good range time, hearing and eye protection available, and quality products. We were able to shoot both rifle and pistol.
