Cocktails were amazing! I didn't photograph it all due to being so hungry, I forgot! The lemon drop martini is exceptional and none of that silly sugarcoated rim. Naturally delicious with a lemon slice. Meatballs were sensational (no photo). Get them!!! It wasn't crowded at 5, but wait an hour and the place fills up. Make a rez!

There is no reason to make a table wait 10 to 15 minutes to get their drinks when the bar is 50 feet from the table and we can clearly see there are 3-4 people behind the bar not doing anything. The food is not made upon ordering. I tried to order the penne vodka without the bacon in the sauce. I was told that "that's the way it comes." So it was pretty clear that the cook is not making any sauce when you order it. (This isn't a red sauce that takes hours.) The pasta is from a box so the prices that they charge for it are not justified. Overly loud Spanish love ballad music was playing at 5 PM in this nearly empty restaurant. Between that and the gigantic white feather decorations just over my partner's head I would say the vibes were off. My partner had seen this restaurant while walking around and thought it could be a good place to try out. He was pretty upset that the restaurant was so meh and that he took me there for my birthday. Bad music. Bad decor. Bad service. Mediocre food.

The Lobster Mac & Cheese was outstanding, honestly better than what I've had at places like Capital Grille. Add in the fresh, delicious bread, and the meal starts off perfectly. I highly recommend the Brandt 14 ounce Aged New York Sirloin; it was easily my favorite dish of the night. And don't leave without trying the New York Cheesecake the perfect ending to an amazing meal! The ambiance of the restaurant was warm, elegant, and inviting, making it a great place for a relaxing dinner. The atmosphere paired perfectly with the excellent food and attentive service, creating an overall upscale dining experience. A special shoutout to our waiter, Quinten L., who provided exceptional service throughout the evening. He promptly cleared our plates after each course and even wiped down the table between meals, which really showed attention to detail. Thank you, Quinten L, for making our dining experience even more enjoyable!

When it comes to steaks, I rarely eat out because I have a paranoia of being let down. I always buy my meat from a butcher and cook them beautifully on a charcoal (yes, if you cook on propane it's not actually grilling - poser) grill. This trip to Amelias reinforced why I shouldn't stray from handling good meat myself. The place itself is cool, my grandmother was very impressed which is honestly all that matters. Of course she was enamored by the bread options and the whipped butter with olive oil was honestly a nice touch. I ordered a bottle of pellegrino and was surprised the waitress never topped me off (get your mind out of the gutter). Whatever, I had to serve my own drink but at a place of that caliber you'd think the wait staff would understand that when a bottle of any sort is purchased they should be asking the diners if they'd like a refill. We ordered the tuna tartare and my grandmother had never even heard of such a dish before. She enjoyed a bite and then I inhaled the rest - yes I am fat and hungry NOT SORRY. We ordered our steaks and I got excited too soon. I can't help but shake my head, I NEVER get steaks out any more because even at steak houses I am most often let down. I am not trying to sound cheap but at $68 a steak I am expecting a melt in your mouth masterpiece (that's what they used to call me back in the day) and honestly the meat we got was a MAJOR let down. Steak alone has it's flavor and this piece was lacking. They overcooked it and it was genuinely tough even with the LITTLE pink they allowed me to enjoy. I was really heartbroken but the only reconciliation for this was that my aged grandmother was ecstatic and this meal wasn't for me, it was an attempt to treat my grandmother to what could be one of her last few really special meals. For her it was and that's the only reason I'm not giving this place two stars.

Rosetta's has the most DELICIOUS Italian food around, big portions, and it's not a "foofy" atmosphere or over-priced like many Italian restaurants around Boston and the South Shore. It is our go-to place for indulgent Italian food. If I went more often I would probably have a weight problem. Carlo is also a really nice guy, and he and his staff did a great job doing a buffet luncheon for my MIL's funeral last weekend. Amazing seafood dishes as well, and try the Tiramisu! We were approached by two different staff members. After speaking with us, both said they "needed a minute," which didn't make sense given the simple request: a table for three in the bar area. We were then told the bar area was reserved and that parties of three could only be seated in the dining room. We were seated in a tiny booth crammed right next to another family, despite plenty of open space elsewhere. It felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, especially given how empty the restaurant was. We left without ordering. The experience was frustrating and disappointing. We went across the street to Takara instead and had an excellent meal. Rosetta's didn't give us the time of day, so we won't be giving them another chance.

Great atmosphere all around. It's a pretty large restaurant, so even though we didn't have a reservation, we were luckily able to get seated right away without much of a wait. It was a beautiful day, so we ate out on the patio, which was lovely. The food was phenomenal and came out surprisingly fast! They bring out a phenomenal bread basket to start--the focaccia with olive oil was so delicious I definitely ate way too much of it before our actual meal arrived. For our meal, we had the Truffle Arancini and the Ziti in Pink Sauce, paired with a Shirley Temple and a Classic Hugo Spritz. The portions were large, tasted incredible, and everything was perfect from start to finish. We could not have been more impressed with the service. Our server was amazing and kept checking in on us throughout our visit to make sure we had everything we needed. She even wrote "Have a Great Day!" on our receipt at the end.
