We were near this area so thought of trying it out for lunch since we wanted to have some seafood. Nice decor would love to come here on a Friday & enjoy some beer while watching some game on TV. We were quickly seated saw the menu & ordered couple of beers Sam Adam's & Dos Equis. From the fish section we choose- The Oscar - scarlet snapper grilled Your Choice of Fish, Either Grilled / Blackened / Fried (Corn Meal or Tempura), Herb Crusted with Lump Crab Meat, Lemon Butter Sauce served with White Rice & Broccoli. Red drum fish grilled with Cajun cream sauce & Creole potato salad. Both the dishes were excellent , the Cajun cream sauce & the Creole potato salad was delicious it complemented the fish very well . We also took sea boil with shrimp, potatoes & sausage with All In sauce (on the side) to have it later for dinner . Please be aware it is spicy. Service was good & enjoyed our meal would love to come back to try their various dishes. There is plenty of parking.

We walked in around 9 o'clock this evening, and Monica took amazing care of my girl friend and I. The food was well seasoned to perfection, amazing customer service, terrific portions, and a fun atmosphere. As a Louisiana native, I HIGHLY recommend you come here! Thanks Monica for everything, keep slaying baddie.

We had an amazing lunch here! The photos tell the complete story, so here is what we experienced in summary : The beer were cold and satisfying. The fish dishes had very fresh seafood and the portions weee huge! The seafood boil again had huge portions and great quantity and quality of shrimp . The All-in Sauce was a real killer. It is very very very hot. Beware! Taylor was very attentive and gave us great suggestions! Great ambience fit for Friday with friends We will be back soon!

Food is delicious! The bartender/server Tatum was adorable. Only issue is they do not have fresh iced tea - it's out of a gun. I will be back!

Ok so this is mixed review honestly because some things were fantastic and some things horrible. Went for lunch on a Sunday about noon.... Ahh we where only people there other than one guy at the bar. Service was just ok. The good: Fried mushrooms and hush puppies are some of the best we have ever had! The average: Catfish Poorboy and fries were average. Catfish fillet was big but under seasoned and fries just blah. The horrible: The Tipsy salad sampler of egg salad, chicken salad and pimento cheese. While it looked great and huge portions all three are so bad, almost un edible especially the pimento cheese! The hush puppies are probably the best we have ever had and we had lots of them from all over Louisiana! Might give it one more shot.

Image shows the gluten free food we ordered and loved!

Our server Monica was amazing! The food is great! Even better most of the menu can be made gluten free and is celiac approved!

Service was outstanding! From the hostess to the waitress - attentive and friendly despite being fairly busy. We ordered the Crawfish Dip to start and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of crawfish - recommend crostini over chips. For our meals, I opted for a light option of blackened snapper with broccoli. Very impressed with the fish and while I know it's not easy to screw up broccoli, I thought it was really good! My husband had the crawfish Po Boy and was a big fan. I've also never seen my husband not finish a meal and this was it! Huge Po Boy with a hearty helping of fries. The fries were quite tasty as well. We will be back!

Great deals, cool vibe, great service at the bar! Food was tasty, cooked well, flavorful, and loaded. Had tequila Tuesday $6 drinks, and taco Tuesday $10 for lunch tacos your choice on the protein. We both got crawfish- fire with the hot sauce!

I found The Sandwich Spot on Yelp after searching for Dutch Crunch bread. The moment you walk in, you're greeted by the irresistible aroma of fresh vegetables and warm, crusty bread--if happiness had a scent, this would be it! Their sandwich selection is impressive. I originally drove an hour (one-way!) just for the Dutch Crunch rolls. Then I walked in, got greeted with that heavenly smell and super friendly vibes, and there was no way I was leaving without a sandwich. I went with the BLT, and let me tell you: it was loaded with crispy bacon and absolutely delicious. The place is spotless, including the restroom, and the customer service is top-notch. I called ahead to check on the Dutch Crunch rolls, and you could literally hear the smile through the phone. Jeff is fantastic, and the entire team was warm, welcoming, and genuinely appreciative--thanking me multiple times for stopping by. I highly recommend The Sandwich Spot. I'd will be making the drive again and again for the food and the friendly service.

At a minimum, I expect it to have at least as much filling as Jersey Mike's sandwiches. It certainly doesn't. Additionally, Jersey Mike's makes a better sandwich. They just do. Bottom line: very nice people are running this place without question. However, I likely won't return. It's just not worth the significant premium they charge for their sandwiches, when you can go to Jersey Mike's, get a much bigger and better sandwich, for a much better price. The portion size was simply unacceptable for the price. I do wish them the best of luck, as they are clearly good people.

The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. We started off with the empanada sampler and Marcilla au gratin . Not big fans of the marcilla - way too much dairy . The sausage itself was good, but wouldn't get it again . I am very displeased with the manner in which I ended up with what I "NOW" know was optional.... at an additional charge. Since the sandwich was basically a Thanksgiving meal on a bun, when the order taker/server asked if I wanted the gravy on the sandwich or on the side, and this being my first time to darken their door, I said, "on the side". My sandwich was a very reasonable $7.99. Ordered! Expect ill with tax to be $8.50-ish. NO.... $10.26. By the time it registered that something was amiss (by my thinking) she was wrapping up the order for me. I reminded her (I am sure she didn't have a clue about the story) of the mom and pop store that kept a hand broom by the register and on every order, they would automatically scan the broom. Most people never checked their receipt to know the difference and if they did it was chalked up to being an accident. That being said... I diligently searched the menu board for a side of gravy or an Asterix noting an extra charge for the gravy and it was not to be found... anywhere. She did not say anything acknowledging a problem from that side of the register. I wished her a happy New Year and left. I will be a repeat customer because the meal was great. But I should have had been told the gravy was extra. Now that I do know, I can't imagine NOT ordering the gravy. But it was a devious tactic to stick us with an extra charge that the person could kit show me on the board. Despite my rant, if you are a sandwich person, DO GO!

We've stuck to the standards, classic cheesesteaks with either hot or sweet peppers, or both. Once, my wife got the BLT, which was good at the time, but unsurprisingly, the lettuce and tomato don't keep well, and the portions always dictate leftovers for us, so we'll skip that next time. The bread on our sandwiches has been fresh and soft, with no off notes either texturally or taste/smell. The meat and cheese have been tender and well seasoned, and at a good ratio to the bread. The hot pepper can really lean towards the hot side; I almost feel like asking for a third hot and two thirds sweet. :) Bottom line, we've had three great experiences here and are glad to have this restaurant so close to our home. Hoping some of my fellow Yelpers just hit them on a bad day, but it really works for us!
