They usually open between 30 minutes to an hour late, which gives you plenty of time to kill, be late for work, an appointment or peruse Macy's and the other jewelry stores that carry the same lines without the attitude. Their sales associate, Omar is a gem and a veritable fountain of knowledge- or whatever comes into his head to close a sale. I think they're called "lies". The customer service you find at this company is so exceptional, their Trumbull location closed down. So, reiterate- if you're looking to experience sub-par service coupled with the ranging between stellar (Britney and Polly) to abysmal (Omar) take your chance and give it a shot. Just remember that they open later than the other stores. MUCH later, and about 15% of what Omar tells you is the truth. The other 85%...not so much. This is a very dishonest business. They run an Amazon store titled "The Time Store Authorized…read moreDealer." However they sell watches through that store as an unauthorized dealer. These watches then do not have a manufacturer's warranty. They don't respond to emails, messages through Amazon, and their phone numbers don't work.

I was shocked being I paid that price when I purchased it 20 years prior. He said, very few people work with silver jewelry, and it would take several weeks. I certainly was not going to have him repair it. I've had gold items repaired for much less. I was in Stratford and saw MJs, I figured I would get a price on the repair. They were very friendly and accommodating. I expected that I would have been given an estimate that was equivalent to the prior jeweler (I assumed he was being HONEST with me). They took one look at the bracelet and said it would cost $35 and they would only need two days. The repair was pretty extensive; the clasp and the link were worn and needed to be seemed and rebuilt structurally. That price brought a huge smile to my face. I was so happy there are some honest people still out there, that was so reassuring, (Obviously. I was pretty upset with the prior Jewler, he simply was stealing my money). The repair was amazing and showed a high level of skill and craftsmanship. It literally looked brand new. Obviously, don't waste your time and money with any other jewelers. If you're looking for an honest and friendly jeweler, a laid-back family atmosphere, fast repair, and great customer service. Look no further. Bill S.
