Brought my new watch for regulation as it was running too fast (44sec/day). When I received it the watch was about a minute and a half a day faster. Paid $50 for the service but did not get a note about the new specs. According to the owner his "guy" is a Omega Certified technician. read more

The owner gentleman is an animated, nice, professional man... as is his assistant I've brought him watches needing to be sized and/or batteries changed. He does the job right and at a very fair price. Most recently, I needed a couple of screws for my knife handle to secure it to the back of the knife. He was able to find the exact tiny screws to fix it. I don't even look for anyone else to do these projects when I need them, I just plan to drive the 7 miles from my house between Tuesday and Saturday to have this fine shop do the repairs Thanks Time Keeper read more

I only stopped in to have a few links removed from my bracelet. I found them on yelp and were in close proximity to my home. I arrived @25 minutes before they closed. There is a ring doorbell That they used to see who's at their door. They then buzz you in. He assessed what was needed and went to work. About 20 minutes later he return with the finished product. It was a perfect fit. The price was more than fair. I will keep them in mind for future needs. read more

Definitely a wonderful shop to take your jewelry repair to. I came here with a tangled up broken chain anklet that I have had for years. Lol, same anklet that broke 3 yrs ago! This time It was so knotted up. The owner is an amazing, kind, talented man, that was so patient. It would have taken me ages to detangle it, and I would have ended up stir crazy lol. I've been here but yrs ago. Same level of top quality service and work. Excellent job and done efficiently! He had it done while I waited and single handedly juggled 2 other waiting customers. 4:30 p.m. and they're CLOSED. Looking for a quick band repair but can't judge the service as they are closed when their hours say they are open. Sitting in the parking lot looking for another site and two guys just walked out of the shop and left. Stopped by to get some links out of a new watch I got online. Efficient and quality service provided by a local craftsman who cares about his trade! Paid $15 for the service (which some may claim to be high) but happy to do it as me and my watch were well taken care of. Would come back for any future repairs (even eyeglasses repairs) and would send my friends here as well. With over 40 years in business, the time keeper proves it should be around a lot longer. read more

I called the business and was told they had batteries for any brand watch. I told the gentlemen i would be there in 10 mins. It took 5 mins to replace the battery in my Seiko watch. Great service and reasonable rates! A few years back my niece threw a rock at me and it hit me right in the crystal on my watch. At that time the watch did not break but there was a little chip in the crystal. Fast forward to today four years later, and a full crack has made its way across the crystal like a broken windshield. I found The Time Keeper on the Internet brought my watch in. The ordered a new crystal from the manufacturer and a couple weeks later they were able to get the crystal installed and the watch back on my wrist. Great job guys! read more

Have had my Rolex Explorer II for 14 years, never been off my wrist. It has been offshore on rigs and production platforms, shipyards all over the world and I tell you it has been through a lot. I bought an 1830 French Clock from an antique dealer in Italy about 2 1/2 years ago. It was shipped to Houston via UPS. After I brought the box in the house and opened it I found the clock had been poorly packaged and the back glass was shattered and interspersed with the gears of the clock such that it wouldn't work. UPS said their shipping insurance only covers boxes opened in the presence of their UPS driver, not after you take the boxinto your home, even though I emailed UPS immediately the same day after opening the package and finding my broken clock. I researched clock repair shops in Houston and took the clock to Steve Woodward at Clock Country. Steve quickly partially disassembled the clock in front of me and recommended a complete cleaning and replacement of the broken back glass. After numerous disassemblies and reassemblies of the clock and checking it's time, Steve discovered that the large gear on the 4th wheel of the clock was very slightly bent, causing the clock to stop each time a few days after rewinding. Fortunately, Steve is tenacious and likes a challenge. He said we wanted to keep working on the clock until he got it running property. He succeeded and I picked up my clock just recently after almost 2 3/4 years. Thank you Steve !

The clock's movement hadn't been serviced in over 116 years according to the 2 November 1910 inscription on the pendulum bracket by its previous servicer. Also, the clock's marble base was missing most of the Roman numerals that were formerly attached to it to serve as the dial. Bernie Maya of Chappell Jordan completely cleaned and serviced the movement and bell such that the clock mechanism now looks brand new and the clock runs like new. Bernie also polished the marble and installed new Roman numerals for the dial on the clocks marble block. What a magnificent job ! Chappell Jordan hit it out of the ballpark again !

Leonardo, the owner and the one who took care of me, is a pro. I was in and out for a watch battery and gasket replacement in less than 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. Talking to him before I left I learned that has been in the watch and clock business for decades and has worked on some very high-end pieces.
